yes, i love introducing people to the original sounds of old disco funk and soul...people love the edits so much they dive into the music and realize that all these tracks were basically as good if not better as original 70s and 80s hits. its beautiful. the new takes on these songs are dope, down the rabbit hole you go
I feel in love with this music style in 1997-98. Only way to hear it at that time was to download it from music forums based in the Netherlands. I knew it was the future of music but got ridiculed for liking it at the time. I downloaded Sasaha-Expander on my parents crappy PC w/dial up modem . Any ideas what it might be? Maybe it's just a different edit or something. The lyrics aren't Luther Van though, someone with a higher voice but still a guy who sings.
