this song has grown on me. at first i was like “oh another sad ballad”, but i’ve been replaying it and i’m entranced by her vocals, the way the strings come in at the beginning, the scream/belt, the staging, the energy. iolanda, you will always be famous 🤍

Eurovision blocked Portugal's videos of the Final showing the video of the semi-final because Iolanda had her nails painted in Palestinian colors and because she said at the end "peace will prevail" and only updated it on TH-cam after the votes closed..

This year had a lot of strong songs but the EBU had to allow [redacted] to turn it into a farce
Shitshow is the least we could say. Totally fucked up. The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 didn’t deserve such good songs to be performed around all that climate that the EBU imposed to everyone when not wanting to disqualify a certain country.
Glad the juries went for this! Perfect vocals, perfect staging, beautiful song, the best of the year by far!

How could be possible that artistic masterpiece didn't win the ESC???? By far the best entry this year.
Once again a very classy exhibition. It was in my Top 10 for the final and finished in a deserved 10th place with 152 points, only 13 from the public. In the Semi Final Iolanda was only 8th but in the final passed 4 of the songs that were qualified in the first Semi.

To think that there are people who argue that Eurovision voting should be decided solely and exclusively by the public... Portugal, receiving only 13 points from the televote and still finishing in the TOP 10, is the concrete proof that national juries are necessary at Eurovision, and their votes should have a greater weight than the public's in the final result.
Especially when you have Mossad agents buying SIM cards throughout the world.

This is my favourite song from Eurovision 2024. Great performance. I wish Eurovision gives subtitles for the song that sung in Original language for foreign audiences. Maybe it will give more understanding. I want to understand the song better. But still without translation, it was the best song for me. 12 Points from Germany.
It's 2024. Google "iolanda grito lyrics". Then use google translate on the portuguese text. It's not perfect, but it's close enough.
