Tim, It might be a blown coordinator, I saw the way your V8 starts up and studently the warnings appear at a lower speed or at a downshift. And the way the electrics flicker and it goes to Neutral. I've never seen a Scania do that, OR the clutch really is blown from downshifting a Juicy sounding V8!

I saw his first Scania video over in Daytona Beach when he picked up the Scania. I commented on that video explains the history of Scania in North America. I also told him of two that a friend of mine ran for Quatar formula 1 boat team based here in Orlando. So his was not the first or only one in the states as he first commented, before saying first TH-camr with a Scania. I also told Bruce to watch your channel especially as at that time you had just come back from a European show. I guess he got pissed off at me for bursting his balloon and my comment was deleted. I did another the following day and that was deleted. I’d be interested if he contacted you or vice versa. I had notifications off you to use telegram to contact you. Unfortunately I’ve heard so many negative things about replying, so I never did! Short notice, but I did mention it on the live video with Shaun on Saturday. One of the better truck shows here in the States is the Mid America truck show in Louisville Kentucky in March. Something you and Sean should think about visiting. Really enjoyed the visit to Rowly’s collection in Caerphilly. Shame you couldn’t have got Rowly on camera. 🏴🇺🇸

Yea I think that first time She broke down. Whilst she still let you go on after that first stop and start of the engine. Should've parked her up for the night. But I think you pushed her too much and she gave in. What a place to breakdown. My anxiety would flare up lmao.
HAD that volvo fm250 . auto box . Turned out to be block connector on g,box water gets in rots wires . SO ecu cant talk to g, box . VOLVO replaced block connector on gbox . CLEARED faults on the ECU / memory . JOB done

Hi Tim well this could be a fair repair bill if its the clutch that's a reasonable job if it electrical that could take a lot of trying to source the fault all the joys of being an owner operator . Most drivers would do exactly what you did Tim nurse it till it dies good video even with this breakdown great content being recovered by shaun you will have to splash the cash for shauns wrecker bill plus the clutch or gearbox or electrical fault

I always thought Clutch Overload was specific to the Mercs 😅 used to light up pulling heavy loads around the valleys in my old Axor, bless her. She retired to west Africa a few years ago. Hope shaun can fix her up ❤
Those automated manual / non driver transmissions are wonderful aren’t they? If only it was a Eaton 18 speed (or whatever euro manual trans etc) On the bright side though, they are great news for the dealers / workshops

I remember when doing my HGV class 1 lessons I got a gearbox malfunction on a roundabout. I was blocking it just like this, couldn't get into gear or move. It was a stressful moment.
