Great stuff man! I really hope Warriors are coming back big-time. Love the guys and they just thematically feel so core to the faction. It's a shame they haven't seen much "real" play in 10th so far as they've been so outshined by Immortals.
Thank you. Good report. Coincidentally I have used a similar list for two games today. What I can tell you is that Deathwatch kill teams will easilly delete 20 warriors and Wraith block. Im not sure what Necrons can do against uppy downy shooting armies like Death Watch, Vanguard etc. One Kill team has over 60 shots, special ammunition, Oath etc. Not a happy day for Necrons.
Terminators being OC1 is one thing, but Gretchin being OC2 is just the ultimate slap to the face to everyone else I feel. :-P Played to much vs Dreadmob... *sigh*
Hey Killen how would you play this List against Firestorm with Boltstorm agressors,Landraider crusader, 10 Man Sternguard and other stuff i got completely Wiped by them with Starshatter on Sunday. the Amount of rerolls spacemarines get is just crazy imo PS: Great Video as always
Gotta get myself 3 more Wraiths, whenever I'm theorycrafing any AD list, it inevitably boils down to "I don't have a fast hard-to-kill unit that can swing objectives in my favor." Lychguard are cool, but nowhere near indexhammer days of Technomancer, Overlord and Cryptothralls (that was some frustrating to deal with unkillable stuff...)
Good stuff. I am not a believer in that Lokhust heavy unit for like 270 points or whatever it costs. You still on average are only doing two wounds, and as you said, they are bouncing off an invuln half the time. A reserved DDA does like the same thing, is way cheaper, and has more ability to pop off with some big dev wounds. Plus the little guns kill chaff and it's way more durable. It's just not it mate.
I agree it is spendy, it is the ONE thing in the list I want to take out and lean into full control. But I will say it is way more reliable into a lot of targets over one DDA. Mainly because you are hitting on 2s with the options for rerolls. DDA they could pop smoke and its D6+1 shots hitting on 4s
@@PNW40K Yeah, I think the potential is there but it is just overcosted. I don't think that unit out shoots a DDA + 1 Gauss LHD though, which is still 20 points cheaper and gets you another unit on the table.
