This video was the one that solidified my decision to start yoyoing. The slow motion shots of Evan doing those horizontal binds midair was fucking majestic. Like therapeutic. So beautiful.

That is absolutely incredible! Honestly felt so good to see him land it just because he seems like such a good dude and I am happy you were there to help him capture this moment. Wondering why it took so long to post past the film date though? if there's any particular reason.
Yeah. Dunno that I'm ready to talk about it all publicly yet. Mental health problems in my own life is about as far as I can say right now. Might talk about it in a later episode. Might not. We'll see.

Great stuff! What frame rate were you running for that final shot? Curious how you managed to film 8 or so seconds of high speed on the Miro. Maybe 500fps?

@@BeyondSlowMotion Awesome! I also found a discovery with my Miro. If you save the CineRAW file as a DNG sequence out of PCC, then import that DNG sequence into Resolve, you can use "Highlight Recovery" in the RAW utility to get about another stop of highlight detail than you can with using the actual CineRAW file. Perhaps you already knew it, but I'd check it out if you ever have any blown out skies or other highlights!
@@FritzelMedia Yeah. Good to know. I almost always just port my cine files straight into Davinci (used to be Premiere). haha I wasn't very on top of my game filming that day. Part of the reason everything is so grainy is that a lot of shots were under exposed and I also had to color grade on a non-calibrated screen. Stuff that will be corrected in new videos. :)
