I'm guessing that the Goron that set the grave had his brother help him carry it, that's why he could move it to the place it is but couldn't remve it when his brother froze.
I remember when I was little, I just got back from my dad's, and a friend in that state had introduced me to Oot on the GameCube, one of the times I visited and saw this weird off colored version of this new interesting game... I got back to my mom's and looked up the game, I remember being turned at first by let's play commentary, but Chugga almost immediately made it feel like I was watching an older brother play the game, and after about 20 minutes of a non commentary play through I came back to his episode one... Just so happened to be while he was still uploading around this part of the LP. That first night back I stayed up so late watching these.... Wow the nostalgia....
Am I the only one who plays the song of time after each dungeon to reset the timer to give me the most time possible? (I also do it once I learn the song to get into the next dungeon, so that I start each dungeon at the beginning of the 3-day cycle.
I don't reset time after each dungeon, I try and see what other things I can get done before time's up, but when I plan to finish a dungeon I'll start it as soon as I reset time. I usually go into the dungeon beforehand, though, knowing I won't finish it but just going in to figure some things out so I kind of know what I'm doing when I go in on a new 3-day cycle. :)
Of course Kaepora Gaebora is a supernatural being. He's Rauru the Light Sage. A Gossip Stone in Ocarina of Time mentions that Kaepora Gaebora is Rauru's earthly reincarnation. Also, the Goron Graveyard is a cave made of rock, so the Goron didn't carry anything up to the graveyard, he used the rocks in the cave to build the gravestone, so it makes sense that he wouldn't be able to move it considering it was not a requirement for the Goron to do so.
i gotta be honest here, that scene where you play the song of healing for the ghost made me wanna cry when i was a kid (even now) because it's just so heartwarming, especially with the nice little piano music accompanying it.
Well, if the Owl ISN'T some kind of guardian being, then how in the hell could he have place statues all over the world that offer teleportation abilities?
The much mroe reasonable theory is he's the Reincarnation of headmaster Gaebora, Zelda's father in Skyward sword, reincarnating as part of the cycle himself to guide the hero and his daughters reincarnations.
Aha! The ice cube's cold temperatures for cloning technology! According to Bose-Einstein statistics the density of bosons vs. fermions as well as the population distribution of atoms become more equal as temperatures get colder. Furthermore the overlapping of boson quantum states could allow coherent phonon transmission in an abnormal manner should the proper refractive index and dispersion be achieved! Just to think when I was a mere child the concept went over my head, but now I have gotten closer to ruling the world! Thank you mr. Chuggaconroy! Perhaps I shall secure you a very special position...
I love the rolling mechanic for the Goron mask. It's a great replacement for Epona when you just want to cross Termina Field in a hurry, although admittedly the magic drain can be occasionally be a little annoying. I can live with that though, considering I get to run over enemies with a spiked boulder at high speeds. XD
When link hit head first on the ice (which I wanna do know) I think it was a early sign of meakow or he was praticing for the zora mask STATUES AND POTTERY ARE THE MORTAL ENIMY OF A TRUE KNIGHT *runs into a pottery store*
10:35 What is interesting is that he WILL sell you a Bomb Bag if you give him the Swamp Title Deed and meet him in the Swamp. The same for the Business Scrub in the Swamp once you give him the Land Title deed except with Magic Beans instead.
Granted, the return route isn't the ladder, it's a tunnel with a fuckton of ramps, but that'd mean he'd have to PUSH THE GRAVE UP EACH STEEP RAMP, that's normally climbed via Goron Rolling. And by the time he got up and out, the return route caved in with snow.
Oh my god i just realized link can read the goron script as darmani and zora as mikau because the masks give link their memories and experiences too... that's why the first transformation for each mask is unskippable and so horrifying and painful-looking, because link is reliving their deaths... holy shit
Am I the only one who likes Young Link more than Adult Link? Young Like is so awesome and badass and cool! AND HE'S, LIKE, 14 YEARS OLD! Also, Deku Link is so cute
You know, that owl being some kind of supernatural is possible. In Links Awakening, the owl is the guardian of the Wind Fish, meaning he could have some special powers.
Well, the owl is probably an important figure considering his name (Kaepora Gaebora) and the creepy headmaster of the Knight Academy and Zelda's father in Skyward Sword (once again Gaebora.)
@6:06 The owl is not the only being that recognizes link even if its the first time meeting. The happy mask salesman does til at the beginning of the game when you got back in time. That should be a first time meet but hes asking if he got the mask back then.
MysticGamer The happy mask salesman actually meets you and asks you to retrieve his mask before the three day cycle begins, when you play the song of time, it brings you back to the moment you stepped in to clock town for the first time, after meeting the happy mask salesman.
Have you thought of the fact that the Goron you spoke to had his brother with him when they set the grave? He was indicating that he and his brother helped each other to build the grave but he couldn't move the grave-stone without help and as you clearly saw his brother is now frozen in ice.
Title name logic. if it is called the legend of Zelda and link is the legendary hero Zelda is not the person who becomes the legend duhh comment if you follow
Yes Link is a legend but Zelda is also a legend. She has helped link time after time. Without her, Link would have never succeeded in saving hyrule. The title just suggests that there legends are told through Zelda (who is a princess more likely to be remembered). Most Zelda games doesn't necessarily call the legendary hero Link that's why in some games you can change the name to yours if you want, I usually don't though.
I really like your videos and I love the Majora's Mask playthroughs, but when you scream like that while playing, I honestly can't stand it. It's enough that I don't know if I could continue to watch the videos, which, is unfortunate because I very much enjoyed them (aside from brain shattering, ear piercing screams). If you could tone it down even just a little, that'd be great. Like, still be yourself, but the screaming is way too much.
Oh man.. was watching at work when you dove off the cliff as link and someone walked by right as your freaked out yelling! Oooooooops! Love the outbursts! haha
My friend told me a very useful and practical strategy for Wolfos. Z-target them, and when they come in to attack, backflip, then jump attack. If done correctly, you'll take them out quickly, and without taking any damage.
13:51-14:00 maybe he and his brother carried the gravestone up the mountain together. Maybe they both moved the gravestone onto the hot spring water. Maybe he could only do these things with the help of his brother. Now, I haven't the foggiest as to why they thought it was a good idea to cover the hot spring water with the gravestone, but I'm fairly certain it was a two-Goron job.
I don't know. Maybe they used their hands to dig the grave and one of them dragged the body with one hand and pushed the gravestone with the other. Maybe they made separate trips up.
Darmani must've known that another Goron warrior would come, seeking the knowledge to do as he did, so he inscribed his gravestone with lessons on how to fight like him. Truly he lived and died a warrior of his people...
Huh. You know. I consider myself an expert at this game and I never realized the "defeat the white wolfos with the spin attack trick." Pretty cool. I usually just do some tricky backflips/side jump thingies haha! Thanks! I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!
When you turn back time you go back to just after meeting the Salesman, because the clock doesn't start until right AFTER meeting him. It makes sense he remembers you, but not so with the owl.
Is it just me, or is Link ADORABLE. Especially like this. He's a midget. Its so kawaii! *trying not to fangirl watching Link opening a chest* awwwww. I'd want him as a little brother.
My theory behind the Owl is, The fact that he met you in OoT, I would have to say, whether he said nice to meet you during this game or not, he has met you before and just didn't recognize you the first time. So, I thought, maybe it like sparked his memory or something so that now, he remembers you again.
you may have a point about Gabora Kaepora(the owl). in OoT, one of the gossip stones explains that Kaepora Gabora(Gabora Kaepora, whatever) is the reincarnation of a sage(the light sage). considering the fact that the owl is basically a stalker, shows that he might have followed link to Termina.
it's stated at one point in Ocarina of Time that the owl is another incarnation of Rauru, that's he's a manifestation of the light sage in the realm of the living.
hey conroy, the reason the goron was able to bring the gravestone up was because he had his brother to help him. since his brother in frozen, he can't move it. it's like trying to bring a couch to a moving truck. you gotta have two people.
chugga, I'm pretty sure that the goron who couldn't move the grave said "i can't move that grave BY MYSELF". he needed his friend to help move it. of course he was frozen.
I climbed up those bars on the mountain without the lens of truth when i first got to the mountain village. Had no idea where they went, but I just kept on climbing that wall blindly.
Atually, Kabora is ment to be a reicarnation of the sage Raru in Ocarina of time. (If you talk to one of the gossip stones, this can prove it). So Kabora is able to travel in time due to he is a sage :D Great LP Btw.
So if ice has cloning capabilities, just like in Okamiden, then how do people drink ice water in any universe like this. I mean any universe that has "you become ice when you touch ice" physics.
I'm guessing that the Goron that set the grave had his brother help him carry it, that's why he could move it to the place it is but couldn't remve it when his brother froze.
My idea exactly, it's the only explanation that makes sense
That, and Darmani, and thus, Goron Link, is NOT your average Goron, and can hit a LOT harder and carry a lot more

That's actually pretty smart.

***** No no. I don't want you to take offense to that, its just we've run into each other.....three times on Chugga's vid's that all.

Idk, but i do know that he is a character in OoT
maybe it is the cosmic owl from adventure time
The much mroe reasonable theory is he's the Reincarnation of headmaster Gaebora, Zelda's father in Skyward sword, reincarnating as part of the cycle himself to guide the hero and his daughters reincarnations.
AnnihilatorDigimon Actually, he's canonically the alter ego of Rauru, the Sage of Light, they're the same person
Aha! The ice cube's cold temperatures for cloning technology! 1:35 Most underrated Chugga moment in history
Darmani the Third's clip where he realizes he's dead always makes me tear up and cry sometimes. Thanks Chugga.
*Link freezes*
Chugga: "what kind of sense does that make?!"
*video cannot be played* O.o

STATUES AND POTTERY ARE THE MORTAL ENIMY OF A TRUE KNIGHT *runs into a pottery store*
19:03 Apparently the Goron are so afraid of the dead coming back to life that they put metal grates above graves.
I mean, can you BLAME them? In THIS franchise?!
@@spindash64 ReDeads and Gibdos.
Kaepora Gaebora is Rauru the Light Sage in a mortal incarnation. That’s why he is aware of Link’s time travel.
The Goron Death scene is one of the most beautiful video game moments in history
20:27, RIP headphone users
20:24 - 20:27 he's about to make the famous Dive! there he goes! Ouch! that's going to leave a mark!
10:35 What is interesting is that he WILL sell you a Bomb Bag if you give him the Swamp Title Deed and meet him in the Swamp. The same for the Business Scrub in the Swamp once you give him the Land Title deed except with Magic Beans instead.

Oh my god tucans!!!!
Bro Tyler reminded me of chug in his last video and the first video I look back on he has comment lmfao
Am I the only one who likes Young Link more than Adult Link? Young Like is so awesome and badass and cool! AND HE'S, LIKE, 14 YEARS OLD! Also, Deku Link is so cute
+BlockSquad1000 Actually, not even close. Majora's Mask takes place a few months after Ocarina of Time, so Young Link in Majora's Mask is still 10.
Ah. Didn't know that. I'm still pretty new to Zelda games -- Only starting playing them last year.
+BlockSquad1000 I started playing them in 2007 with good ol' ocarina of time!
and I believe in OOT young link is about 7 or 8 that would mean that adult link is only 15-16.
"Adult" my A** although funny.
BlockSquad1000 no you are not the only one
You know, that owl being some kind of supernatural is possible. In Links Awakening, the owl is the guardian of the Wind Fish, meaning he could have some special powers.
I get why Link yells when he transforms. Transforming must hurt.
There were two gorons up there so they both probably took the gravestone up there.
he move the gravestone with his brother's help. so it's heavy to move it alone.
And now, Link has unlocked the power of Sonic! *ROLL ROLL ROLL ROLL ROLL ROLL ROLL*

13:50 he had his brother to help him before, chugga!
Feeling nostalgic
And, Link breaks his neck on an iceberg. The End.
Chugg
That owl is from ocarina of time ofcourse he remembers you
This was made after ocarina of time hes older now but the owl helped him
+Lyna Gucci Yeah, but this is Termina. It's an alternate version of the owl.
***** But still that doesnt logicly make sense does it
It kinda does make sense. the alternate version of the owl never met Link before.
***** but its the same owl... or not whaaa????
it's not the same owl. It's a parallel version of it, from Termina.
Well, the owl is probably an important figure considering his name (Kaepora Gaebora) and the creepy headmaster of the Knight Academy and Zelda's father in Skyward Sword (once again Gaebora.)
what about Gabora the smith?
No, not Gabora, (Guh-bor-a) I'm talkign about Gaebora (Gay-bor-a)
XD I know I'm joking
yeah and we don't know that much about the owl. but in this game it was probably just an oversight.
I have more proof to prove this theory Zelda's father in Skyward Sword (once again Gaebora) has those crazy eye brows just liek his owl form
Knowing you'll save the Gorons fills you with determination
@6:06 The owl is not the only being that recognizes link even if its the first time meeting. The happy mask salesman does til at the beginning of the game when you got back in time. That should be a first time meet but hes asking if he got the mask back then.

and if your bad at the game everyone dies....
Alex Orozco A GAME theory! Thanks for watching ;-)
How in the name of termina is mountain village considered a village at all?!
There's only one building!!
Nintendo logic!!!
i nearly choked on my jelly bean when i was laughing at you ceaving Link's head onto the ice from that jump.
I like how the Goron's on this game can't swim, but on Twilight Princess there's a Goron living in the bottom of Zora's Domain
I mean isn't the owl the sage of time from OoT?
20:25 = rip headphone users XD
Hearing Chugg's puns fills me with DETERMINATION.
Have you thought of the fact that the Goron you spoke to had his brother with him when they set the grave? He was indicating that he and his brother helped each other to build the grave but he couldn't move the grave-stone without help and as you clearly saw his brother is now frozen in ice.
Emile: I want to meet the gatekeeper so I can become the key master.
Me: So you wanna become Rick Moranis?
The reason he knows you is because he met you in Hyrule
but this game is in Termina an alternate universe to Hyrule

Gorons living in ice, that's like Zoras living in lava!
i think what that goron means when he cant move the tomb is that he had his brothers help, but hes frozen solid of course >~>\\
Don't get bit by the white wolf if you are bit too much you may turn into a wolf. Then you would be called werewolf Link.
i don't see why anyone would dislike these videos, these are awesome vids
Ah, 2011. When people still thought that 20 minutes was long for an LP episode. :P
That one cut scene with Darmani, is really sad....and touching because he seemed like he really wanted to protect his people. What a nice Goron...
Oh man.. was watching at work when you dove off the cliff as link and someone walked by right as your freaked out yelling! Oooooooops! Love the outbursts! haha
I love how the next spirit you help is during the reciprocal of this episode.
My friend told me a very useful and practical strategy for Wolfos. Z-target them, and when they come in to attack, backflip, then jump attack. If done correctly, you'll take them out quickly, and without taking any damage.
this is the best majoras mask 100%walkthrough ever!
You got that right!
5 years and still loves face plants
I bet if Shulk had to walk on feathers, he'd really be feeling it.

how sad. the depressing "cursed" music plays when it's all snowed and beautiful; and plays the bumpin' Termina music when it all melts :(
14:00 I'm pretty sure his brother helped him move it, but now that he's frozen solid he cant
4:33
Chuggaaconroy: Hey Tingle!
Tingle: WAAAAAAAAAAA?

Unintentional homicide is manslaughter. You put the laughter in manslaughter though.
Huh. You know. I consider myself an expert at this game and I never realized the "defeat the white wolfos with the spin attack trick." Pretty cool. I usually just do some tricky backflips/side jump thingies haha! Thanks! I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!
If you're using a gamecube controller to play MM or OOT then X = C right, Y = C Left, and Z = C down
When you turn back time you go back to just after meeting the Salesman, because the clock doesn't start until right AFTER meeting him. It makes sense he remembers you, but not so with the owl.
Loved that ghostbusters reference.
I love how though those platforms were invisible, but yet Link still casts a shadow.
Is it just me, or is Link ADORABLE. Especially like this. He's a midget. Its so kawaii! *trying not to fangirl watching Link opening a chest* awwwww. I'd want him as a little brother.

Nothing makes him special but it is possible that the time traveling owl just remembers Link from Ocarina of time.
19:50 I always love hearing that!! "Eeeeeeee! Darmanai!!"
it's stated at one point in Ocarina of Time that the owl is another incarnation of Rauru, that's he's a manifestation of the light sage in the realm of the living.
u always have the best picture+music at the end of each video , i wish u could make them a little bit longer :)
hey conroy, the reason the goron was able to bring the gravestone up was because he had his brother to help him. since his brother in frozen, he can't move it. it's like trying to bring a couch to a moving truck. you gotta have two people.
1:35 is that from bowling for soup's high school never ends
That invisible ladder on 13:13. Climbed it all without the Len's of Truth.
The Song of Healing is so soothing it almost makes me cry...;_;
They're also from Zelda Twilight Princess. You can find them most often when your heading towards the Yeto's house.
chugga, I'm pretty sure that the goron who couldn't move the grave said "i can't move that grave BY MYSELF". he needed his friend to help move it. of course he was frozen.

Love these pictures at the end of each video.
