The first time I feel tears in my eyes is this match when saw Ghana winning such a competition I was ten years and am watching this match again in 2020 am so happy
This day was indeed the happiest day in soccer for Ghanaians and The whole of Africa. These players did exceptionally well and the most amazing thing is the fact that they played the game with 10 players against 11 players (Brazil), never gave up, fought even harder and defeated Brazil. Sometimes in life, we need to go through some hardship in order to breakthrough our success. Never give up and trust God that all things are working together for your good. Romans 8:28 God bless you all🙏
Jordan Anagblah the then management chairman of the team make tears flow down cheek the more. He together with the technical team and the playing body did a great job. May his soul rest in peace.
Love from Kenya,,, Where is this guy he must be the best African goalkeeper ever! In Africa! He must be somewhere at the top of Game may be playing for top leagues in the world there no way we can not let such energetic goalkeeper fade away

I remember this game😅 The Ghanaian goalkeeper used to stay in our community, that night, his mum was full of joy, alongside his siblings, will never forget that day
First time watching this. Oh during Covid19 confinement and I am feeling like I am watching live!!!! When everything seems so bleak in the world and especially in Africa, there is this to give us some semblance of hope and happiness. This remind me of the time of Ossei Kuffour, Nii Lamptey, back in the 90s. From Togo, when any African team play, it is always a time of pride. Today again I fell so Ghanain!!!!! Love, Love and Love for Ghana and Africa!
I always get frightened watching the part where Agyeman-Badu was gonna take the kick. This game was tensed and the celebration afterwards was massive! Big ups to the Egyptians, their support and love helped our players to be strong even when down to 10 players playing against Brazil, yet they won the game and tournament. Mabrouk Misra!

"Ghana have won the competition for the first time. An African soil and African team, down to ten men, what extraordinary for the competition! What extraordinary for the shoot out. An African team on an African soil". My favourite part of it all. Still watching in 2020.
I'm watching this in 2023 and I can't control my emotions. O how I wish another day like this will come where Ghana will win a major tournament like this
I watched this game live in 2009 and the feeling after the game was unbelievable. Since I have watched the penalty shootouts countless times. But today as I was watching the shootouts again a voice told me that the goal keeper Sammy Adjei deserves a special award. He was responsible for the victory. He stood tall and snatched the cup from the hands of the Brazilians for Ghana. When God wants a country to make history he uses people. Some fail the task while others succeed due to factors I can't explain here. Daniel Adjei performed his assignment by God superbly. A year later God wanted Ghana to make another history in South Africa 2010 but Asamoah Gyan failed to be history maker. Please let's push this agenda for Daniel Adjei to get the special award he deserves. It would please God.
Never thought Soccer was exciting to watch until I saw this. I've never even sat through a full game before but this video had my heart racing lol. The Ghana goalkeeper was incredible deflecting those shots in spite of all the pressure.
