One of the things I really love about the Zack Snyder DC movies is how amazing he shows how powerful these characters are. The shockwaves, the destruction of the environment around them as they battle, how you feel the hits and power behind them, the speed they move at. You really get a feel that they are godlike beings in front of you.
People complain about Batman running, but WTF was he supposed to do? Engage in H2H combat with the monster? Begin to trade blows with him? He would've died!

The first half tried to be an overly complex political thriller, while the second half devolved into a CGI mess. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with either of those approaches but they were both poorly executed. ii) Poor character development. Superman and Wonder Woman had zero development. Batman had some (basically just the Martha scene) but it was too abrupt and again, poorly executed. iii) Unnecessary setup for future films, which affected this film's pacing and crispness. I'm talking about the JL cameos, Wonder Woman's appearance and the knightmare sequence. Two of these things have since been retconned by DC (WW's choice not to fight for humans since world war 1, and the knightmare future in JL 2), which just makes BvS worse in retrospect.

He spent the whole movie searching for answers about why he should continue to do what he does. Because clearly some people hated him no matter how good things he does. The part where he talked with his father at the mountain peak made him realise that no matter what he does, there will always be consequences but that doesnt mean he should stop doing all the good stuff. Wonder woman wont have any character development since she barely had 10 - 15 min of screentime. And most of them were in the third act. Batman on the other hand, we saw his hatred and fear grow. He had lost all his humanity and didnt care anymore. He just wanted to do the job done. But Superman selfless sacrifice restored that human part in him. iii) And finally, the knighmare sequence was a glimpse of the JL2, which would have been developed further. And also it fuelled Bruce's fear of Superman even more. Unlike Marvel, DC never had post credit scenes. And we all know what happend when you make a 180° turn on the tone of your movie. The JOSStice League fiasco.

The use of the grappling hook was excellent, and that fact that he used a smoke bomb to conceal where he was going to go an doomsday not being able to find batman when he came back was excellent. That scene where Superman and doomsday was having the epic heat vision battle that just shows zack Snyder’s vision and that shot was so godly bro like I never seen a scene in a movie to the point to were it gives me chills throughout my whole body! Love or hate this film I will be honest THIS is the Batman I've been wanting to see in live action. A Batman that tussles with real superhumans like Superman and Doomsday. Regardless of how well he manages to fight them the fact that he is in the fight and at the very least avoiding being killed despite being only human is what makes me like this Batman so much.
Love the way Wonder Woman is portrayed here. She is a warrior who even enjoys the battle too much, but her power, speed and aggression suits her so well and it’s a shame they didn’t go with this.

This is a true superhero battle scene. I love Infinity War but the action here is top-notch. It truly depicts how devastating and dark a battle between super-beings would be.

this movie is soooooooo much better than justice league in terms of story, action, special effects, cgi, and music. Drawing Master probably because Joss took over. i pray the Snyder cut of JL will be available at some point because the Joss edit felt like a marvel movie. Batman’s role in this fight : Distracting doomsday and supplying superman with the killing blow while also weakening him with the final kryptonite round...It would have ended differently if he wasn’t there. Wonder Woman’s role: Heavy hitter...Giving doomsday a run for his money and keeping the fight grounded she arguably does the most damage apart from the spear. Superman’s role: The killing blow, superman was strong enough to completely take down doomsday once and for all. Conclusion: All three were needed to destroy doomsday...Batman supplied the lethal gadgets that ended up killing doomsday, Wonder Woman fought doomsday the most while superman was down, and when Wonder Woman was down Batman distracted doomsday...But in the end all three came together as one to get the job done, Wonder Woman held him down with the lasso, batman shot him with the kryptonite round which weakened him long enough for superman to drive the spear through his heart.
They all had a role to play but your analysis really only covers the last segment of the battle, Superman is the heavy hitter and does way more than any other to Doomsday and he's been fighting him way before the other 2 turn up, in fact he very nearly single handedly takes him out of the vicinity of harm but for a ridiculous decision by the president.
For the record, Superman didn't stop fighting to save Lois. He stopped fighting cuz he heard someone in trouble, not knowing who it was. It shows he's grown as a hero. In Man of Steel he was a rookie just trying to save the Earth unable to stop to save people. This time he's more experienced and has help so he's going to save more people in danger.

Nighthawk it's an already established thing from the comics and when Supes saved Lois when she was in Africa.. Supermans knew where she was by the sound of her voice. Snyder admitted to this too.
And yet they copied that scene in WandaVision, and a couple other scenes from Man of Steel, a poor attempt at that too. But this fight was truly a work of art, arguably one of the best fight scenes in cinematic history.

Couple seconds later, you can see Doomsday trying to find where Batman is because he lost him with the smoke which was designed specifically for Kryptonians.

Superman did the most fighting, he was the most effective and got the most hits, WW got a grand total of 2 hits on DD, one because DD was distracted by Superman and the other because he didnt realise her sword would cut through him, thats it, she was ineffective.

Love or hate this film I will be honest THIS is the Batman I've been wanting to see in live action. A Batman that tussles with real superhumans like Superman and Doomsday. Regardless of how well he manages to fight them the fact that he is in the fight and at the very least avoiding being killed despite being only human is what makes me like this Batman so much.

this movie is soooooooo much better than justice league in terms of story, action, special effects, cgi, and music. Justice league needed more snyder's talent for the action, visuals and cgi. im looking at this fight scene and i get so frustrated because this action sequence alone is 100x better than justice league, in terms of visuals.
Drawing Master probably because Joss took over. i pray the Snyder cut of JL will be available at some point because the Joss edit felt like a marvel movie. Plus they were only given 6 months of post production and re shoots with Joss so they didn’t have any time to try and save it, so it became a Snyder Whedon hybrid....which are two conflicting director/ creative styles :(

Batman’s role in this fight : Distracting doomsday and supplying superman with the killing blow while also weakening him with the final kryptonite round...It would have ended differently if he wasn’t there.
Wonder Woman’s role: Heavy hitter...Giving doomsday a run for his money and keeping the fight grounded she arguably does the most damage apart from the spear.
Superman’s role: The killing blow, superman was strong enough to completely take down doomsday once and for all.
Conclusion: All three were needed to destroy doomsday...Batman supplied the lethal gadgets that ended up killing doomsday, Wonder Woman fought doomsday the most while superman was down, and when Wonder Woman was down Batman distracted doomsday...But in the end all three came together as one to get the job done, Wonder Woman held him down with the lasso, batman shot him with the kryptonite round which weakened him long enough for superman to drive the spear through his heart.
And Snyder did the same with JL...he gave them their own roles and all of the members were proven essential in the team, the JL
They all had a role to play but your analysis really only covers the last segment of the battle, Superman is the heavy hitter and does way more than any other to Doomsday and he's been fighting him way before the other 2 turn up, in fact he very nearly single handedly takes him out of the vicinity of harm but for a ridiculous decision by the president.
I only like Synder's Batman because it's the only live-action Batman that moves and fights like Batman.
But at the end of the day the real doomsday is taking a nap somwhere outhere
And WW also cut doomsday's arm off which caused it to grow back into the giant claw that he used to kill superman 😐
For the record, Superman didn't stop fighting to save Lois. He stopped fighting cuz he heard someone in trouble, not knowing who it was. It shows he's grown as a hero. In Man of Steel he was a rookie just trying to save the Earth unable to stop to save people. This time he's more experienced and has help so he's going to save more people in danger.

Batman is smart. He knows that the smoke worked with Superman, so it'll definitely work with Doomsday, they both Kryptonians, they both couldn't see him. Couple seconds later, you can see Doomsday trying to find where Batman is because he lost him with the smoke which was designed specifically for Kryptonians.
