Evan Shreffler Tina was originally cast and Sophie was just an alternate. At the last minute Tina was cut and Sophie was cast instead, so she almost didn’t get to participate in this season.
Christopher Herrera no offense to Tina, but I’m glad it played out this way. Tina has played three times-I was especially interested in seeing one time players who won come back (Sophie, Yul, Kim, Wendell, Nick, Denise, Adam, Ben)-and Sophie was not a goat by any means in South Pacific. She played a cagey and calculated winning game against a group of very arrogant male players (Coach, Albert and Ozzie in particular) who all thought they could use her as a strategist for their respective needs, then kick her to the curb at the end. She proved them all wrong.
@@evanshreffler1677 I'm pretty sure Michele was asked to play early on. She wasn't an alternate. I'm very happy she and Sophie were asked. Sophie is a very underrated player. The only reason Tina played the last time she did was because of her daughter. Much better to have someone who wants to play than someone who's just doing so because they think it's expected of them.
Man I can't believe they are releasing so many post game interviews before it's started. I'm doing everything I can to not read into their body language and suble remarks.

They should film Jeff making his way to the Finale on all forms of travel, with other past contestants chasing him down trying to find out "who won?" You could have Ciri, Johnny Fairplay, Russel Hantz, Sugar, etc...

The Game starts when Jeff says go. This is one of the reasons Boston Rob keeps himself sane, he knows when to switch on and off playing 5 times of Survivor. Even though he is sneaky and ruthless this is one of his code of honor doing the game. 😀

Yes both have won but they were not married nor dating prior to Amber's win.

No they were not. They got engaged at the reunion show when she won. Technically they hadn't even been on an actual date prior to the final tribal council when the jury cast their votes for her to win. Unless you count their Survivor reward date when they both won cars.

I have watched every single Survivor some I have watched twice, does that make me a fan? I knew it was going to be a hit.. thank you to every single person who has been behind this great program.. I have seen TV being born, I have seen telephones become a household item. Seen 1st man in space, walking on the moon. It’s been a wonderful time to have been alive. Now I am going to rewatch Survivor from the beginning again. To me survivor is the very best show ever.....

If I had to guess, I would guess that they either were the last ones off or some of the first ones off. This way makes more sense. They got ppl that were off fairly early and so didn't have anything to be jealous of and that didn't have beef with each other or anything.
I don't know if that's actually how they did it or not, but it fits. Also, I am predicting Tony, Michelle, and Natalie are getting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively, and none of them are on here.

Not like others who say "my grandmother died", "I did not feel uncomfortable with you touching me". "I didn't feel uncomfortable but I'm going to tell her I did."
If Rob had told Sandra she would have kept at him the entire time they were out there to figure out how she could beat him. This way Rob could just work with her and concentrate on that season and make it interesting. However, I understand why Sandra felt hurt but it also shows you she didn’t really understand who Rob is or she would never have asked the question. You know Sandra would have used it to her advantage.
Why doesn’t Survivor hire Rob and Sandra to help come up with ideas for the show or to be commentators like sports announcers.
cause they're bother ovverated players that arent actually even top 5 players of all time? I love the godfather but hes now 1 for 6 and been voted out premerge 3 times, sandra been voted out premerge in half her appearances as well.

I am shocked people do not commented a lot about Jeff saying Parvatti is the person to trust the least from the game which shows how awesome and dangerous as a player she is. She is the best player that was there at the panel
@@MrTNA-ml8tt I believe Rob had a slight edge on Parvati, but they are both on a whole other level than the others because they're charming, intelligent, calculating and physical. Sandra, on the other hand doesn't have any of those attributes, she's just a master of chaos: spread lies, cheats, backstabs and manipulates.
@@twelve11 Still to me the best player in Survivor history is not one of them but TODD, the winner from Survivor China who is very underrated and people do not understand how smart he is. YUL is another very underrated, he has the most brilliant mind from all the players that ever played in Survivor and is the only one who outplayed Parvatti in a season. Parvatti is nr.2 after Todd in my rankings. Also, too bad we will never see THE ICEMAN play again because i think he would have won season 40

They really should release a compilation of all the "funny" scenes that never made it into the show because it didn't fit the narrative that they were trying to tell. Almost like a blooper reel for each season.

I felt bad for Michell not getting any votes. Not even her boyfriend voted for her, well X-boyfriend, for sure. "he was just not into her", you could tell she still like him, guess I have a soft spot for Michelle

Past contestants say they usually know who wins based on the FTC but they edit it to look more questionable for the sake of suspense and all that. I’m sure they know or at least know it’s between 2 people.

It’s hard to film in Africa because of their hatred towards Westerners. Kenya, where Season 3 was filmed, is very hostile towards westerners and there’s even kidnappings.

From what I've read, filming in Africa is difficult, especially inland. Many of the challenges take place on water. The heat was brutal during the filming in Africa as well.

The Star Treks do ‘The Ready Room’ extra series in the Trek tradition of TNG.
Probst Talking is awesome but we need more wrap up for each episode and an extra footage episode in it’s own format would be so cool!
Maybe extend Probst backchat beyond clips to use the basic comments he does as an intro to those extra hours.
(Trying to find clips for previous seasons is impossible. Even the Ponderosa Series should get formatted into it’s own series beyond clips.)
-If you have something like The Ready Room for for each season of Survivor with more island footage it would be better. We are losing all the survival flavor because of the focus on the gameplay.
Probst Hosting this second hour or two for All Access would be so great. The TH-cam channels are just too informal and inconsistent to fill this gap but the extra footage that ends up not being seen is the big draw here.
I mean BigBrother is live 24/7 during the season. Fans love checking in for extra hours every season...
WE NEED MORE THAN JUST AN HOUR A WEEK OF SURVIVOR!!! :)

Pretty hilarious hearing rob say he’s anti pre game alliance. Going in to all stars he had a pre game alliance with Tom lex and Kathy. Hence lex being so irate when rob broke it to side with amber

It's super interesting around 30 minutes I feel like the reason Rob hates pregaming so much is because he's traumatized after how All Stars went. He didn't want to tell Sandra he was playing and then end up in another situation where she'd get super hurt by him not working with her.

I'm sad because 8 more years and i would be able to go on the show but idk if it will still be here 😔😞
I could apply in 1 more year, and I'd love to, but I'm worried it won't be here by season 43 (season I'd actually be able to apply for because the cut off date for season 42 would be just before my birthday :( Or if it is, the chance of me getting on Survivor 1st time is really rare and as almost no chance of happening. It can happen, I also look up to Michael from Ghost Island. He was 18 and out playing the game, first time applying for Survivor. If it seeks around a little longer, it's likely that season 50 (five more years) would be the cut off. There's a chance they'll go further, but not likely. So that leaves me with seven total seasons I can apply for not counting is there happens to be a second chance like season or the last season is another all winners or all returning players season.
