how do you get the back panel off? I'm looking for the thermal fuse.

The thermal fuse is at the bottom of the dryer by the power cord

Rename to main control board replacement, now back to looking for a diag on the board.

No place in the video do say how you diagnosed it was a bad control board. Anybody can pull wires off the old one.

You totally forgot to program the control board so it's not going to work

How do you get the relays out? I’m pulling pretty good and they won’t budge. He was able just to pull pretty easily. Is there a release on this that I’m missing?

@@Ketch22k It eventually came free. Keep pulling! I wiggled it back and forth and when it came free, I swore it broke. Unfortunately, it was not the board like I thought. It ended up being a failsafe for the thermostat failing. Essentially so it wouldn't run and keep pumping out more and more heat until its catastrophic failure. Unfortunately without the right diagnostic tools and brand specific know-how, I was just wasting my own time and money.
I know its not easy out there for people but find a way to save up a couple hundred bucks and have someone come out and do it. I'm a DIY guy but somethings I found just are not in my wheelhouse. Best of luck!

This is a case of a poorly named title. It should be called "Main control board replacement"

It woulda been great if someone could tell us how you arrived at the point where you knew the control panel was the issue.

This is an excellent video for replacing the board, but doesn’t explain the diagnostics. Here’s what I found and what I did. First, simultaneously press and hold the Level and Temp buttons. This should stop all the lights from flashing and put 00 on the display. If this does not work, unplug the dryer for at least 15 seconds and re-try it. This did not work for me the first couple of attempts and the technician at appliance part pros told me to unplug the machine, undo the screws and reposition the board to be sure it’s correctly placed. If the board is not perfectly located where it belongs the buttons will not make contact with the Control Panel. When I reinstalled it and plugged it back in, all the LEDs were flashing. I then simultaneously pushed the Level and Temp. All the LEDs stop flashing and I begin programming. The was an electrical schematic taped inside the access cover. This procedure is on the back of that sheet.

I know this is late, but I've been searching the internet for upwards of 5 hours trying to figure out how to program the interface. I never would have thought to check the apparent-as-heck piece of paper taped to the access cover. Thank you, your answer was the one that saved me perhaps hours more of heart-ache.
