I feel like the hard kaizo levels take longer but edit down to a shorter video. Also since Ryu does live VO he needs to be thinking about the edit while filming (unlike someone like little kirbs). Doing those levels on stream means less time on the cutting room floor and an easier play session. I agree it's a shame but for the amount of content Ryu's been making its worth it
Idea: Could you maybe bring back 100man by letting your members or discord select 6 super expert levels? That way we could see you tackle lots of different levels with a fair number of attempts. Maybe once a month or so. I'm sure there'd be some people interested in this, since I've watched your old content (100 man) like three times by now. There's just a certain janky, crazy magic to it, which is rarely present in the new format. I still watch it cause I absolutely cannot say not to ryu^^. But I do long for a blast from the past :).

I actually got confused because I thought it was edited in until I saw the skip button. :)
Which one? Because as far as I know, those boss fights were not in the correct order for any of the New Super Mario Bros games. I think it was a recreation of Super Mario World. I’ve never played SMW, but it was set it the SMW theme, and I know the bowser fight is done with mechakoopas just like in that level.

What a superb level inspired by Howl's Moving Castle! It reproduces the essense of the eponymous machine so perfectly!! You really should watch that anime by Hayao Miyazaki, it's an immortal classic (in the good sense of the word!). Kind of a fairy-tale set in a steampunk universe.

you know what owould be a great addition to the game? An upgrade wich is like you are invincible but you cant kill enemies and still colliding, so you could create really cool platform levels wich are not super expert and are actually beatable for players who are not made for like super tight jumps
I think the Koopalings is exactly what SMW romhacks are missing. I mean, there is only so many ways you can beat Big Boo all over again. If I knew SNES ASM, I would probably get on that myself.

I agree on that. Slowly becoming a sellout. One of greatest thing about watching Ryu's videos for me was that he never actually advertised his twitch and never tells "Like, comment and subscribe" like every other money hungry content creator on TH-cam. But now he's not only started doing this, he also will finish his runs on twitch to boost viewer/sub numbers. I understand that 99 % percent of people is money hungry nowadays, but its actually kinda sad for me to see this happening to him as well.

I love when Ryu does endless Super Expert, mainly cause it shows off how awesome he is at the game and his reactions to some of the levels are great!
