    Hello jason . My pmp2000 makes a loud buzz after a couple of min in use, do you have an idea why?

      @JasonsAcousticWorkshop  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could be a number of things, if you have a wire that's plugged into the mixer and nothing else, then that can cause a buzz, or if you don't have proper grounding in the outlet you're using, or it could be something internal. if it's something internal, have it fixed by a professional. It could be loose wiring inside the machine. How long have you had this mixer for? If it's been a long time, with all the moving and abuse a mixer goes through, things start to loosen up, it's pretty normal for electronics to break down after long term usage.

      @@JasonsAcousticWorkshop the mater effect volume makes a loud buzz , the guy that sold me the mixer sayed that its because the effects are too high, it makes no scence to me i can barely hear the effects and at a low vol it doesnt buzz , any thoughts ?

      @@eloymiron4628 You're right, it doesn't make any sense. Which effect are you using? I usually put the Main effects (The knob next to the EQ) about half way up, then slowly turn the effects knob on the tracks up until I hear effects. If that doesn't work, then maybe, there might be a problem with the wiring.
      Also, you can turn the decay down a bit. Push the effect knob and turn it down, then slowly bring it up till you hear the effects. (Check out my video, Effect demo for the Behringer)

    How do you hook up a powered subwoofer to the pmp 2000

    • @JasonsAcousticWorkshop
      @JasonsAcousticWorkshop  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can't, there is no auxillary out on this particular model. Sorry.

      Hi Jason, can one be hooked up to this model ? Behringer PMP1680S 1600-Watt 10-channel Powered Mixer

      It all depends on if it has an auxiliary out. I looked it up and it looks like the behringer 1680s has and auxiliary main out and monitor out so, it should work. But, make sure you check to see if the one you get has an auxiliary out. What you might want to do is go to your local music store and try one out. But yes, I think the behringer 1680s can handle a powered subwoofer, but, if there is a music store in your area, you might want to check with them too. Thanks
