Yeah, but u can't deny that Dark Souls 2 is the worst part of the trilogy. Dark Souls 2 has the worst bosses, locations, hit boxes, movement and many more. The latest version of this game (Scholar of the first sin) made it even worse, because there are spam bushes everywhere. Its not a bad game, it's a game that didn't reach the From Software level.
Days Gone was never a bad game. It just released in such a buggy state it was unacceptable. People seem to assume that it was just trashed for no reason not understanding that the game that they are playing now isn't the game that was released.
I think it was also because of the advertising presenting it as a game where you'd be fighting monsters, but instead of that you usually fight other people.
DmC (2013) is an amazing game, got it the year it came out and had lots of fun with it. I understand that ppl find the dialogue to be cringy af but I rly did enjoy the edgy vibes of it and even got into Combichrist 'cuz of it. Arkham Origins is also an amazing game, but had big shoes to fit in: it ultimately feels like a DLC for Arkahm City, which is undoubtedly the greatest Arkham game around.
Deus Ex - Mankind Divided. It is maybe not hated, but it is not that loved as well, and it probably killed the series, but to me, it is absolutely one of the best games I have ever played.
I remember when DmC (2013) was released, I was one of those people who got mad at Dante's new look and personality. I decided I would spoil the game for me so I would never play it in the future, by watching the whole walkthrough on TH-cam (I've never done that before). But it's been a while now and I am thinking of giving it a chance.
1. Bioshock 2 (best in the series) 2. Gotham Knights (like Assassins Creed: Gotham imo) 3. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified (very fun squad based combat akin to Mass Effect) 4. Sonic Unleashed (epic boss fights, fun beat ‘em up combat, great levels) 5. The Last of Us Part 2 (a legitimate masterpiece.) 6. Callisto Protocol (actually pretty intense once you get the hang of the combat system.) 7. Halo 5 (a bad story does not necessarily a bad game make; the combat is fun, and the game is beautiful. It’s pure sci-fi eye candy, and the multiplayer is still best in class.)
Have you even played an Assassin's Creed game? The only similarity between the 2 is how boring Gotham knights is and how much more fun it looks after someone forces you to play the original Assassins creed. Sonic Unleashed was never hated, it's loved compared to others, it just happened to be released in an era of awful humor that extended to hating on sonic. Many of these games deserve their hate, callisto protocol was hyped up so much as the next dead space, what a disappointment, tlou2 sucked ass, in both gameplay and especially the story. I could have just muted the game and skipped all the cutscenes and I would still hate it, the gameplay is so boring and awful. It's not hard at all, never did I rage, it's only boring as fuck. It's like forcing someone to play an entire game of the MJ stealth missions from spider man.
@@wiwopkxmapknt6251you can't name 1 truly bad halo game. Halo 4-infinite are all hated, but at their roots are all good games, maybe not infinite, it has all the materials for a perfect game, but just the uncompressed materials. Name 1 truly bad halo game, I know you can't. Hell, you can even bring up the arcade games and the spinoffs.
Best multiplayer in a racing game ever, closest to a modern burnout game. Just so fun. I think just the name put people off cuz ppl expected customization like the original Most Wanted 2005.
I recently platinumed the game and found out that people didn't like the game. I personally think it's one of the best modern nfs games. I like it a lot more than Rivals and Heat at least. I have played all the older ones and some of the new ones and I was most impressed by how fun most wanted was.
Mine is Silent Hill 4. It is different than the first three. The sense of "dread" it conjures up is different too. I find it the most disturbing of the series. That is a good thing in survival horror.
Honestly nearly every Silent Hill could be on this list after 3. The SH community seems to be pretty negative towards nearly everything lol. 4 is good and I am glad someone appreciated my music choice lol
Went into Dark Souls 2 Scholar Of The First Sin and I thought it would be very bad but was pleasantly surprised with how good it is, it is a good game but with a few iffy mechanics i think all the dark souls games are good, none of them are better than the other. Just have to play ds2 differently than the other games.
Pokemon Sword and Shield is another I think is really overhated. I've played most of the older games and I really enjoyed Shield and it's DLCs. I never understood the ridiculous amount of hate it received
The problem I have with it is that it’s practically just Sun and Moon but in the U.K. It didn’t change to fit modern consoles with modern graphics (in fact, a tree texture in it is from Ocarina of Time) and the gameplay isn’t new. The battling is still really slow and really clunky. You’re interrupted with battles all the time. It’s just too linear. The DLC’s fix this but the main game doesn’t. After Scarlet and Violet and Legends: Arceus the story, well, isn’t it. There’s almost no plot until they tried to inject it with some “end of days” thing, but other games have done that. Honestly though, I respect you for liking these games. It’s an uphill battle liking a game not many other people like. Power to you.
It's okay barring the technical debt, slow start, and cut Pokémon. But honestly I feel like Scarlet and Violet are worse in all of those regards, localization nonsense, and extreme levels of tedium due to unskippable cutscenes and some characters (the professor comes to mind) being unlikeable.
It's hard being a FF15 fan, it's one of my favourites too. I personally hate enjoying and playing a video game, or watching a show that everyone has already consumed and shitted on, like idk why that makes me uneasy. And FF15 is that game for me. Obviously it only matters about my enjoyment of the game, but when you're a fan of an overhated video-game or media in general, you kind of it wish it wasn't as popular / famous, especially if 80% of the people who consumed it ended up shitting on it. I saw many others who reviewed it badly and their videos getting millions of views, it really sucks. But FF15 was literally getting hyped by SqEnix since 2011, before its release in 2016, and it was the modern face of one of the biggest video-game series of all time, until FF7 Remake took that spot. So the attention it had was impossible to not have. Sorry for the rant, just had to get it out to a fellow FF15 lover.
HOT TAKE RE3R is great, I like it even more than RE8, if we're already talking about modern RE games. Nemesis is much more scary than slow Mr X that you can hear from a mile away, the dodge is a cool little mechanic that adds depth to the gameplay and if you'll get it for cheap on a steam sale, it's an absolute steal. Yeah, it's short and it's a bad remake but it's still an amazing game imo.
RE3R is great but haters just wanna hate that they removed the clock tower but I’ve NEVER heard one person talk about how good the clock tower section was until the remake removed it LOL
DmC is one of my favourite video games of all time. I absolutely love the gameplay, new take on the characters and the story. I do really enjoy all the other Devil May Cry games as well but DmC is my favourite. I have never understood the hate for it.
Depiction and characterization of Dante and Vergil as well as the story. Also the gameplay had some major criticisms but was still considered solid. But that was the only good thing people seemed to agree on
Another great m video from you. I love Arkham Origins. I love the Christmas setting, I love the boss fights and I love that ot focuses on the "world's greatest detective" side of Batman's personality. I actually prefer it to Arkham Knight. I like that game a lot too, I love all of the Arkham games, but Knight overstays its welcome a bit for be, especially those tank battles.
Mines absolutely Banjo Kazooie - Nuts & Bolts. I understand it was a massive change in direction for prior fans, even if it was a separate IP like Yooka Laylee it would have worked better but those liminal worlds, amazing graphics and game mechanics were amazing. Also Fallout 3 is the best IMO, I recently played through Fallout 4 after the recent updates finally and I enjoyed it somewhat. One side quest I remember the most was the Shelter that spent most of its time experimenting on Vault Dwellers where the quest had you build contraptions at your leisure to create the "perfect" vault. Nice list man 👌🏻
I liked DmC. It was over hated. I’m not big devil may cry fan so maybe that’s why I enjoyed it. Totally agree with your assessment of Mass Effect 3. The game is great until that last hour of the game. Even with that flawed ending it’s better than Andromeda for sure.
This video is absolutely what I was thinking but never had a reason to say it until now...mine hated games was..... * "Assassin's Creed Shadows" ( Haven't Py It Yet But The Hate is Here)" * "Saints Row 2022 Reboot" * "GTA Definitive Edition" * "Far Cry 6" * "Postal 4 No Regerts" * "Terminator Resistance" * "Crack Down 3" * "Battlefield 2045" * "Dying Light 2" * "Starfield" * "Watch Dogs Legion" * "Atomic Heart" *"Death Loop" * "Dead Rising 4" 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
I've always liked DmC. Imo It's on par with DMC4. Better than DMC2, but not DMC3. I like every Mass Effect. I think NFS MW 05's kinda overrated, but both Most Wanted's are solid entries. I agree with your takes on Sonic. I prefer 3D platformers over 2D so I'm biased, but I love Sonic Unleashed. Screw Sonic 06 though. I think FO3's also better than FO4, but I don't hate FO4.
Happy Christmas Santa. Please let me tell ya what I think, no game is hated without reason but some of them are just receiving way too much. I mean Diablo 4 is live service which it sucks, the level scaling sucks, the super easy campaign sucks, but to get a 2/10 user score on metacritic it's ridiculous. The same goes for Wolfenstein YB, it's not as good, does it mean it's the worst thing ever, guess not ! Are we going for OVERrated some day ?
I really like the RE3 Remake too, but it is far from perfect. It’s short, it feels uninspiring at times and Nemesis is not that big of a threat, sadly. The game feels rushed, but I still think it is over-hated in general. oh and I’m so in LOVE with that new version of Jill❤
Finally someone agrees with me on RE3 Remake. Out of all of the remakes that I have played so far I think 3 is my favorite as personally I only played like 20 min of the original version on my psp so I don’t have the original to compare to. I really enjoyed the shorter length to the remake as it actually encouraged me to play through it multiple times. I guess it sucks that some areas were cut but as someone who never played the original areas I didn’t mind. The unlocks were so much fun and the higher difficulty is terrifying as it mixes around all of the items.
One that comes to mind is Jedi Survivor. Everybody seemed to trash it for glitchy launch, but when I played it a few months later, I had no issues and it has been one of my favorite gaming experiences.
Yeah cuz they fixed it, it’s actually an amazing game but it released in a horrible state at launch. A classic case of a good game ruined by technical woes
@@JellyJmanstill makes 0 sense. Elden Ring was also a mess on pc at launch (apparently for certain PCs it still is) and that game wasn’t trashed on at launch. Survivor released buggy but was pretty quickly fixed up and people still rate it low because of the launch. I personally played it on PS5 about a month after it came out and had 0 issues.
Dark Souls 2 seems to be in a constant state where it's always both underrated and overrated at the same time. Kind of make sense since it has some of the best (e.g. Majula, bonfire ascetic) and worst (e.g. Frigid Outskirts, adaptability) aspects in the series, and people have different expectations getting into it. On top of that, there is another division between people who think Scholar of the First Sin either is the better or worse version of Dark Souls 2. Overall, it's a good game, but probably look into it more first if you want to try it yourself. Limit Breakers and Hbomberguy made good videos about it.
I absolutely agree with Sonic The Sonic The Hedgehog Series dose not deserve to be hated on so much. Because I love The Sonic Series and there lots of good amazing and awesome sonic games out there.
In my opinion Christmas is the best holiday despite people saying it is oversaturated and overmarketed. I definitely agreed with your takes on the more "modern" Paper Mario games. I never played Color Splash, but Origami King was my intro to the series on switch and I absolutely loved it! For me, after having played TTYD and Origami King, Origami King has the better music and writing of the 2. I still listen to Origami King's soundtrack, and the jokes had me laughing out loud, plus the story definitely tugged on my heartstrings. Later that year in 2020 I played Bug Fables because I had heard many great things about it and it was a fantastic game! I personally think Bug Fables is a better game than TTYD, although both are phenomenal games.
I was so excited to see the ending of mass effect 3. I was literally short of breath and standing up fidgeting. I’m not sure I’ve been let down by an ending more in my life. I guess I should go back and give it another look
I enjoyed Dark souls 2 a lot and enjoyed the variety in locations. As for FF XV, i did everything there is to do in that game. I really liked that game and the ending was damn good. Only issue i remember having during the first playthrough i did was the linear and slow final 3rd of the game.
- Days Gone was such a really great game and story! - DMC = Pretty good, really entertaining with that mid 2000s cheese! - FF8 = Incredible game, easy in my 10 top Final Fantasy games FF15 = Incredible game, in the lower part of my FF top ten list. -Mass Effect 3 is a PHENOMINAL game. Didn't hate the ending. The ending is miles better than FromSoft's games. -RE3 is really good for what was given. Gotta remember it was priced a $40 when it came out Loved Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Hate me.
for me the most over hated game is Resident Evil 6. now before Resident Evil 7 and RE2 remake reinvigorated the horror side of Resident Evil and it seemed like RE was only an action game for now on, i get the hate. but we got those above mentioned games, RE6 didn't kill RE. i think judging RE6 on its own merits, what it actually is and not what some people want it to be, it is a great game. what it is is a silly over the top Michael Bay action movie style game, what it is not at all, is a survival horror game. as a OTP action movie games, it is a ton of fun. i always say RE6 is more like games like Bulletstorm and Vanquish than any survival horror game. if you like those type of games, RE6 is 100% worth trying.
Dude, I love re6. Fun game screw the haters. Hell re6 is (was?) the best selling in the series. But what do I know I like operation raccoon city😂🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
DS2 is honestly my favourite of the original trilogy. Of the original 3 souls games...DS2 has the Best PvP, best fashion souls, best weapon and build variety, power stancing, best hub area (Majula), underrated lore, If you felt an area had too many annoying enemies to clear to get to a boss, you could actually permanently despawn them AND you had the ability to revive bosses DURING a single playthrough rather than having to complete an entire run to get to New Game +. You could fast travel early and you didnt need to look up a guide to figure out how to smith powerful boss weapons unlike DS1. character exp could be easily reset early on if you wanted to respec your character...it just has so much polish compared to DS1. You could also still upgrade armor sets, Unlike in DS3 where that feature was removed for some reason. and honestly, if you didnt make use of the ring of binding and joined the Company Of Champions while making use of Bonfire Ascetics, Dark Souls 2 is BY FARRR the hardest game of the original trilogy
At the time, I liked FF8 more than FF7. Heck I even liked FF9 more than 7 and I still do. Did not like the blocky chibi style for the characters outside of combat and FF8 improved in almost every way as far as graphics and sound design/music quality. I watched that opening cinematic many…many times. Though…over the years, I have become a lot more invested in FF7’s characters and world, thanks to the amount of content we’ve received from this installment in the FF franchise - Part 1 & 2 of the Remake trilogy, Kingdom Hearts, Advent Children, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus etc. I like what FF7 is NOW, all the lore and world building we’ve received over the years, but I don’t have as much love for the original FF7 game as some of the other FF games. 13 is my least favourite.
Christmas 💜 I agree with you on RES 3 it’s not a great remake but it’s not a bad game same with NFS Most Wanted I kinda looked at NFS like I looked at GoW 2018 more of reimagining so I never compared it to the original I always looked at it as it’s own game
I'm a PC/Nintendo only guy, don't even own any Xbox consoles, but I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed Starfield. I'm now convinced a lot of that was just people confirming their preconceived hate for a non-Playstation exclusive that had a ton of hype. The game has an 86% PC/ 83% XB score, which puts it right in line with plenty of PS exclusives people rave about like Ghosts of Tsushima, Spider-Man 1/Miles Morales, GT7, etc. but it was talked about as if it was 0/10 - complete trash. Maybe if Playstation fans didn't massively outnumber the XB audience, the discussions would've been much more balanced. And I'm saying all of this as someone who agrees with mostly all the flaws that reviews mentioned! It's got issues, but it's still a really cool game overall. I'd give it an 8 or 8.5/10
Dark Souls 2 may have been made by the “B-team” while A was working on Bloodborne, but it’s still a From Soft game and still kicks ass! DS2 was actually my introduction to souls-likes and From Software, and I was surprised when I got into watching gaming TH-cam and found out how much Dark Souls 2 was a whipping boy. There has to be a number 1 and there has to be the lowest ranked From Soft game, but it’s still one of the most enjoyable action rpg’s I’ve played. It was the first game that gave me that pure pleasure of having to pay attention to every enemy, every sword swing, every block and dodge… Plus the incredibly intriguing world building and level design! Along with the challenging enemies and different enemy types, and of course those From Soft bosses that sure as sh1t will wake you up and make you pay attention! 😏🤙🏼
I LOVE MK1. I seriously don't get the hate it receives at all, or at least feel it's blown embarrassingly out of purportion. It had problems at launch, but it was still really awesome. In fact, it's one of the best games in the series - people find a trend and cling to it. They do it with movies, videogames, even politicians - most never scratch beneath the surface. And when I say I love MK1? I mean I LOVE it. I don't simply give it a pass, or give the devil it's due... It's legit one of my favorite games ever.
As someone who’s not the most hardcore dark souls player I actually found 2 more enjoyable than 1 which might be crazy to some people😭 I completely get why 1 is considered a better game tho cuz that atmosphere and level design is top notch 😂
Need for Speed Most Wanted was a really great Criterion racer, it should've just been a Burnout Paradise sequel really. If more people knew they'd be playing it.
I 100% agree with the RE3 pick. Yeah it’s not as good as 2,4,7, or 8. I think the 2 and 4 remake are the very best in the series. (2 slightly higher than 4 for me although it’s very close). But RE3 was very over-hated at launch and because of that the game just died. Make no mistake though, RE3 is actually a good game. Yes it’s missing content from the original game, but everything else the game offers really does make it a pretty decent game. The game’s length actually shines here and I’ve seen countless people speedrun RE3 solely because it’s the shortest modern mainline game in the series so that makes it the most replayable. Still, not nearly as faithful or good as RE2 and RE4 but if you can get past that, I agree, the hate for this game wasn’t really warranted. And who knows, maybe someone out there will have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and get this game as a gift this year! You wouldn’t be disappointed 😏
I played fallout 3 and New Vegas well before fallout 4 and fallout 4 is my favorite one. There is just so much more to do in it than the other games. Also no annoying repair weapons and armor feature.
Diablo 3 should be on your next list. Absolutely hated by so many because it’s not exactly like Diablo 2 but turned out to be a great game in the end that still pulled a lot of players in and returning fans every 3 months
A recent sonic game i find very overhated is sonic superstars. Playing multiplayer is not the best but playing single player i found to be very good and enjoyable. And i also find the fang boss battle to be very overhated in it as well.
I'm happy to see someone who isn't "Sonic hate-blind" and tries to figure the why! As for Paper Mario not being like the first 2, it's not exactly Nintendo fault but Miyamoto. You see, Miyamoto *HATES* stories for some funny reason and wanted to reduce the "unnecessary" high-level storytelling for Paper Mario. And not only that, he almost fired the storyteller for Majora's Mask for also leaning to that level (but needed him in the end). It's funny seeing people praising the opposite of his vision when it happens in Mario games. May I remind you Rosalina story in Galaxy 1? I also thought that was as awesome!
In Each Batman Series Game I am Making BEST No Damage Gameplay Videos,In Batman Arkham Asylum few Videos are remaining to end the Game,In Arkham Origins also few Videos are remaining to end the Game,Batman Arkham City 5 Videos have been Published and Batman Arkham Knight completed. Records I am Making Details Batman Arkham Asylum(Max Difficulty/No Upgrades/No Damage) Batman Arkham Origins(New Game Plus/No Upgrades/No Damage) Batman Arkham City(Max Difficulty/No Upgrades/No Damage) Batman Arkham Knight(Knightmare Mode/No Upgrades/No Damage) The Last Record is almost Impossible to Achieve. And I did it so Very Happy For That.
Arkham origins was by far the best honestly the outfits were perfect and u could play as Deathstroke city was trash every outfit looked like a reskin and every level felt the same the map looked the same as well
Final Fantasy VIII is one of my favourite games ever and I will always defend it. Squall is a really misunderstood character, and I actually like the junction system.
Final fantasy 15 is just frustrating because a few small changes would have went a long way. The core combat feels decent to good but falls a part during high level encounters the limp around thing is just annoying.
I would say that people overly hated DmC Devil May Cry because it wasn't made by Hideaki Itsuno, idk. I feel like this game was so hated for being different, that people missed on things that it did better than original series - like level design, that for the first (and arguably) time in the series was not crap. Or genuinely cool mechanics, like instant mid-combo weapon-swap that while was rough, in my opinion, made game feel and play much better than people gave it any credit. Some went as far as saying that it was worse than DMC2 which, well, very, VERY, VERY bold statement in my opinion. I think that overall while this game isn't as good as DMC3 or 5, it's definitely better than 1 and 2 and mechanically speaking - somewhere on par with 4, but this is just my opinion. Also Special Edition for PS4 and Xbox One fixed few issues I had with PC version and I'm sad that PC version never got that upgrade, like what happened with 5 and its release on PS5/Xbox Series consoles. What I also like is that DMC team didn't throw reboot off - they kinda implemented ideas from it into DMC 5 when you think about it - Nero in 5 is not like Nero in 4 - he's closer with his style and attitude to Dante from reboot. Some mechanics came to 5 from Reboot and overall I think that it was a good approach from DMC devs - learn from reboot, not try to make look like it never happened! Dark Souls 2 is actually my brother-in-law's favorite game in the series, surprisingly. It isn't best IMO and definitely has issues, but I definitely dig the art-style of it and music when it happens to have one. Majula, Heide's Tower of Flame, Earthern Peak and Drangleic Castle definitely look inspired - they are what I imagine when I hear "Dark low tech Fantasy" - something that couldn't be made by man, but was made nonetheless. Combat is... fine, I personally don't like Dark Souls 1 or Demon's Souls combat that much so for me DS2 combat is - eh, it could be better, but also could be worse. Final Fantasy 8 is definitely overhated - maybe I'm saying it as a person who's first FF was 8, but I don't feel that it's as bad as people say - as a matter of fact I believe that it is quite good. It does have really bad UI design, but under it is amazing customization system that never been really copied after. Story in 8 is weird because it feels like game was horribly mistranslated - on the level of All Your Base Are Belong To Us - horribly I might say. What I love that that when it went to putting characters into other SE games, it was Squall who got himself into Kingdom Hearts without massive changes - his redesign, unlike ones of Cloud or Tidus remained pretty much the same as he was before. Also I like that in Final Fantasy XIV in Eden raid, only Eden itself is pulled directly from VIII, unlike Kefka, ExDeath, Cloud of Darkness from Crystal Tower or Chaos who are direct copy-paste from heir games here everything done with allusions like Greiver is not just Greiver, but image of strongest being from person's psyche so we have Fatebreaker - who looks like amalgamation of two father-figures for the character from whom it's been created - glad to see that Square Enix have more love for VIII than some fans are. Regarding XV it's more of unfortunate case - I really wish it went the other way. I like the dynamics with the party members, but the fact that you need to have DLCs and watch the movie to have full picture of the game, just kinda throws me off for it. And that's considering how well party interaction is written. But eh, it is what it is. Oh boy. I generally grew a bit more lenient over the years but on release I genuinely hated Mass Effect 3. Mostly for the fact that ending doesn't at all considers your involvement in the story + plot-holes at the ending as well + most of the core missions are incredibly same-ey, or Javik was DLC character day one, or that for entire game you figher either Reaper husks or Cerberus troops without any real variation aside of one single mission with Geth, or the fact that only boss in the game is the reaper in the Geth mission... In short - game was not that good. I get that DLCs overtime fixed a lot of issues, but I still while no longer hate this game and admit that it has some of the most beautiful moments in the series, I also can't not admit that it's not that great of a game. can't say more about other games either because I never played them, like Mario or RE 3 or have way too limited experience of them (like NFS)
FF8 is one of my favourites and FF15 I thought was great. And FO4 I agree is hugely overhated, I really enjoyed exploring the wasteland in that. Christmas :)
For me, Gotham Knights. Playing it for the first time and I’d go so far as to say it’s a surprisingly great game with punchy combat, and a beautiful rendition of Gotham. It’s repetitive, yes, but no more so than its contemporaries in the open world genre. In fact, there’s a far larger variety of encounters in Gotham than many other open world games have.
I would agree with that. I enjoyed the story most of all as it was not amazing but was really good. Combat was good enough for the game but not bad. The only part I didn’t enjoy is the collectibles for the platinum which I ended up ditching.
I think dmc at this point is generally kind of liked. The story and writing lose the charm of the main series, and the gameplay isn’t quite as good, but I think it’s definitely a decent action game. I think something that would have helped is if instead of doing a whole new Dante and stuff, make it a spin off that follows a new character. Also I may be one of the people that hates sonic frontiers lol
I mean DMC Devil May Cry is not at all a bad game. There's a part of me that really wants to pick that game up and play it because I really do like Ninja Theory as a developer, but I don't think I would do it unless it gets rereleased on Switch or something. Personally, I think I would personally have a lot more admiration for what the game is if it had not been attached to the Devil May Cry franchise. It would have grabbed my attention a lot more if it were it's own thing
Dear humanity, we regret being alien bastards, we regret coming to Earth, and we most definitely regret that the Corps just blew up our raggedy-ass fleet!"
The only reason people "hate" Arkham Origins is because it wasn't directly made by Rocksteady. I had no problem with the game.
I would also add that the reason people hated it was because Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy didn’t do voice work for Joker and Batman respectively.
Pretty much the same reason ds2 is hated. It wasn’t made by Miyazaki. The previous two games directors.
@@jimthar17 It wasn't as polished as the first two, but yea, I agree it's not bad at all
Yeah nah…main reason I wasn’t keen on it was because they changed voice actors.
I don’t get how it’s hated on
Dark Souls 2 is indeed very underrated. I went into the game expecting it to be shit, but was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up enjoying it.

I just hate the motorcycles in that game. You literally ride for less than 1 mile before it's out of gas
People are so quick to say that the DMC reboot was the worst Devil May Cry game as if Devil May Cry 2 doesn't exist.
Arkham Origins is excellent and the Mr Freeze DLC is one of the best
Good lost, I would include Order 1886. People hate it because it was short, but I would take any good short game over long mid games any day
I think it was also because of the advertising presenting it as a game where you'd be fighting monsters, but instead of that you usually fight other people.
I think most people agree that Mass Effect 3 is a great game with an absolutely terrible ending, it’s got great reviews from critics and fans
playing through mass effect trilogy for the first time, looking forward to 3
It’s my favorite in the series. The ending isn’t but almost everything else is better than the rest IMO
@@halfricansaint7727 Yeah i never really understood why everyone just calls the whole game a piece of garbage just because of the ending.
For me a overhated game is FF XIII-2. FF XIII was really Bad but XIII-2 for me was a decent game and the antagonist was AMAZING.
Bro let’s be real I don’t think anyone is gonna say 13 or it’s sequels were the best of the series lol😂
@@JellyJman i never said it was the BEST OF THE SERIES, we are talking about overhated Games, Jesus Christ is the focus of the video…

1. Bioshock 2 (best in the series)
2. Gotham Knights (like Assassins Creed: Gotham imo)
3. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified (very fun squad based combat akin to Mass Effect)
4. Sonic Unleashed (epic boss fights, fun beat ‘em up combat, great levels)
5. The Last of Us Part 2 (a legitimate masterpiece.)
6. Callisto Protocol (actually pretty intense once you get the hang of the combat system.)
7. Halo 5 (a bad story does not necessarily a bad game make; the combat is fun, and the game is beautiful. It’s pure sci-fi eye candy, and the multiplayer is still best in class.)
Bioshock 2 is not the best in the series, Callisto protocol is and will stay trash, and Halo in general is wack
I love halo 5 multiplayer it switches it up while keeping the core of halo Wich keeps it fresh
Callisto Protocol does actually suck though…
New Vegas was so hated when it came out.
It’s good but it’s overrated
Now its praised as the best in the series. A similar turnabout to Pokemon BW1 and BW2
It really wasn’t at all don’t change history! It was just called out for being buggy lol (and it was)
And rightfully so. Buggy garbage.
@@JellyJman Thats what the modding comm.... I mean bug fixes are for
dude if they only changed the name of the characters in DmC devil may cry and the title, this game would've been praised for decades
Arkham Origins is my favourite Arkham game. Also, Dark Souls 2 is amazing.
Really like the channel man, keep up the good content.
Need for speed most wanted was so fun, i was bewildered to see the discourse around the game was extremely negative years later.
Batman Arkham Origins is Amazing and it’s my 2nd Favorite Batman Arkham Game with Arkham City being my Favorite.
Mine is Downpour
Went into Dark Souls 2 Scholar Of The First Sin and I thought it would be very bad but was pleasantly surprised with how good it is, it is a good game but with a few iffy mechanics i think all the dark souls games are good, none of them are better than the other. Just have to play ds2 differently than the other games.
I like all Souls games equally. Bloodborne a bit less. I haven't played the last few
FF15 is a top 3 FF for me and I'm not kidding. I wish we got those last few DLCs.
HOT TAKE
RE3R is great, I like it even more than RE8, if we're already talking about modern RE games.
Re 4 remake is better than both of them
@@wiwopkxmapknt6251 Definitely, RE4R is in my top 15 games of all time.
RE3R is great but haters just wanna hate that they removed the clock tower but I’ve NEVER heard one person talk about how good the clock tower section was until the remake removed it LOL
I thought that game was pretty good though I didn't play the original one.

But that was the only good thing people seemed to agree on
34 min of the mildest opinions possible
Not my favorite Devil May Cry game, but I liked DMC.
One game I liked a lot that I think is over-hated is Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.
Love the video, I totally agree with ds2
Nice list man 👌🏻
Skyward Sword, the best LOZ game btw
I liked DmC. It was over hated. I’m not big devil may cry fan so maybe that’s why I enjoyed it. Totally agree with your assessment of Mass Effect 3. The game is great until that last hour of the game. Even with that flawed ending it’s better than Andromeda for sure.
This video is absolutely what I was thinking but never had a reason to say it until now...mine hated games was.....

I agree with the list. I definitely don't like many Sonic games, but for the most part, all these games are good.
Man wolf YB idkkkkk about that one haha. And overrated? Oh sheesh Im not sure.
@@TotallyTubularJonathan People are getting pissy about their favourite games, it sure is a risk !
Absolutely agree about FF15. I got that game for Christmas in 2015 and spent the rest of my holiday break playing it. It was so addicting
If anything Arkham Knight is overhated
@@EldenLord78Elden ring is different it's actually a good game 😂
Starfield is underhated.
Dark Souls 2 Sotfs for ps3 is the best version
Christmas.
I really liked your level headed takes here, when I play some of these games I'll remember your video.
Agreed mf3,ds2,ff15 and sonic unleashed are decent games and don't deserve the hate
Fallout 4 is a great game, but a terrible Fallout game.
Ninja gaiden 3 razor edge is too overhated, sure the bosses are mostly garbage but the weapons and the combo are next level!!
I absolutely agree with Sonic The Sonic The Hedgehog Series dose not deserve to be hated on so much. Because I love The Sonic Series and there lots of good amazing and awesome sonic games out there.
I mean. It's certainly not the best video games franchise out there. But I wouldn't say it's bad either. There are some good Sonic games out there.

- FF8 = Incredible game, easy in my 10 top Final Fantasy games
FF15 = Incredible game, in the lower part of my FF top ten list.
-Mass Effect 3 is a PHENOMINAL game. Didn't hate the ending. The ending is miles better than FromSoft's games.
-RE3 is really good for what was given. Gotta remember it was priced a $40 when it came out
Loved Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Hate me.
for me the most over hated game is Resident Evil 6. now before Resident Evil 7 and RE2 remake reinvigorated the horror side of Resident Evil and it seemed like RE was only an action game for now on, i get the hate. but we got those above mentioned games, RE6 didn't kill RE. i think judging RE6 on its own merits, what it actually is and not what some people want it to be, it is a great game. what it is is a silly over the top Michael Bay action movie style game, what it is not at all, is a survival horror game. as a OTP action movie games, it is a ton of fun. i always say RE6 is more like games like Bulletstorm and Vanquish than any survival horror game. if you like those type of games, RE6 is 100% worth trying.
Dude, I love re6. Fun game screw the haters. Hell re6 is (was?) the best selling in the series. But what do I know I like operation raccoon city😂🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
6 is better than 5 but it's not bad. But I'm glad it gets the hate. I wish Final Fantasy 15 got the hate RE 6 got
Put Dead Space 3 there as well, it’s the worst of the series but a decent third person shooter on its own
DS2 is honestly my favourite of the original trilogy.
Never knew most wanted 2012 was hates, it's one of my favourite games of all time and it's certainly my favourite NFS
I actually agree about all of these. I'm confident MW 2012 would be less divisive if it had a different title. Christmas.
Christmas 💜
I agree with you on RES 3 it’s not a great remake but it’s not a bad game same with NFS Most Wanted I kinda looked at NFS like I looked at GoW 2018 more of reimagining so I never compared it to the original I always looked at it as it’s own game
I'd give it an 8 or 8.5/10
Enjoyed 7 of the games in the thumbnail. Never played the other 3! Sonic Starfield or Paper Mario 😊
Especially agree on the paper Mario game. Damn shame that is hated the way it is, I really enjoyed them evolving the formula
nfs mw12 is still fun as hell irdgaf what anyone says
I personaly love DmC and It's soundtrack. Maaaaaan, that soundtrack though.🤘
I agree with you on all the games that I have also played, sonic, paper Mario, DMC, etc I have no comment on the ones I havnt played
Need for Speed Most Wanted was a really great Criterion racer, it should've just been a Burnout Paradise sequel really. If more people knew they'd be playing it.
Thats on mobile
I really like DMC. I’ve never played another Devil May Cry. It’s a bit cringe but the music and gameplay are great!
DMC was lowkey fire .Just shouldn’t have tried to change the main characters that’s what made the community mad.

Arkham origins was by far the best honestly the outfits were perfect and u could play as Deathstroke city was trash every outfit looked like a reskin and every level felt the same the map looked the same as well
My problem with Mass Effect 3 is that if you are using the same character through the whole trilogy you are overpowered AF by 3 and it's too easy.
Jonathan never misses
I will always love Batman arkham origins.......still playing it this day's

Batman arkham origins was SO GOOD. Better then AK for sure
Instantly compromising with "they might not be good or maybe even be bad"
DMC2013 is definitely way too overhated and gotham knights is another great game that everyone hates just because it’s different from another game
Same about DMC2013
@@Nicholasmcmath-cr1xl exactly
It's hated because it tries to rewrite the franchise.
@@OneRandomVictory it’s still a great game regardless , the characters and story yea that was trash but the gameplay is still great
@@pureakkuracy7510 nah bro u capping... 30fps, bad graphics, and gameplay is fucking basic... arkham gameplay is better
Fallout 4 my fav fallout and I’ve played new vegas
Dear humanity, we regret being alien bastards, we regret coming to Earth, and we most definitely regret that the Corps just blew up our raggedy-ass fleet!"
