Thanks for the tutorial. I don't know what vodafone have sent me, but the phone isn't reading the SIM card, it detects something but lists it as 'unknown' and no number shows. Hence I cannot get onto any network. A separate issue though.

Just go to settings-application manager-select an application-press storage-select sd card instead of internal storage. Not all application can be transferred to sd cards. Tt

Don't' do anything. It will charge the battery. The lightning symbol is showing to indicate it is charging.

What about if living in the United States and got this cell for free from Metropc so this would be newer then my past Samsung j7 prime I got when I signed up with them few years back..
I always thought any phone u get thru a carrier has to wait before the carrier would unlock it.

Just for troubleshooting purpose, I am asking, have you got sim card tray and the hole next to it as shown in the video? If yes, are you using the sim ejector pin you got in the box? If both are true, you may need to push the sim ejector pin little more.

If you have a paper clip pin you can use. But ensure, tip is not sharp and not damaging the phone. If you damage the phone, you will not get warranty.

Thats is one thing Samsung needs to improve. Even on Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, SIM card tray is flimsy.
