After fighting his injury and losing his main sponsor, Quiksilver, Clay Marzo begins his comeback with hopes of making it back into the limelight of professional surfing. He travels to Indonesia and Panama and destroys his home spots on Maui while figuring out what it takes to make it as a freesurfer. Along the way he makes some tough realizations about how hard he's going to have to work but also finds an outlet for some of his social anxiety by doing volunteer work for the Surfer's Healing foundation, teaching autistic children how to surf.

Honestly after watching these videos about Clay, its inspired to pick my board back up and try surfing again. I know I'll never be as good as this guy, this monster of surfer, but the feeling of being on a wave is like a slice of heaven.

Clay is probably my favorite male surfer, based solely on skill and style! I liked him before I knew about any of his personal stuff... Thanks for doing this series on him, answered all the Qs I had about him, straight from his mouth and not speculation from strangers to him.

clay marzo is my idol he does his thing and doesent care what other people think i respect that so much :)
He's better than Slater, he finds the crux of the barrel...every time. It's so fun to watch...even on huge bombs, he's just standin tall, ridin the barrel as flat and fast as he can, it's like no wave is big enough for him. I wish he'd surf cloudbreak, teahpoo and pipe....come on just blow our minds mate!

Funny they criticize Quiksilver so much, then you watch the credits and its to Quiksilver for the footage lol. Can't blame a company for doing whats in its interest at the time, and at least they're helping him still in some ways.
