The slit screen is still used by the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, although the ending is changed slightly. The blue diamond logo, can be found on some earlier VHS copies of IMAX movies. Some of the other logo's (excepting Kong, F&F etc), are still being used elsewhere.
Honestly I think the logo community should have already learned that the Wormhole logo was just a logo used in OMNIMAX theatres (also known as IMAX Dome) only, not IMAX theatres themselves.
Some things you missed: 1. The still logo you found was actually a part of a preshow, which itself had a variant with AMC for a while. 2. The upgraded Countdown logo, according to IMAX's youtube channel has been dubbed "Sonic Anthem" 3. You missed a couple of countdown logos, and I know you acknowledged this in the video, but I know there is one for Spider-Man Homecoming, and Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation
I stil like ths standard count down that they had. Short but awesome when the bass setting was right you could feel it. I think some of the non gigantic iMax screen out there dial back the sound a bit
Although IMAX is very, very reality-bending (which is cool), the one thing I hate about IMAX is... THE IMPERFECTION THAT IS SONIC ANTHEM TEXT SPIN TRANSITION.
Hey CCG. I was going back and watching all of these older logo evolutions and am reminiscing in the nostalgia. Though, I do have a small favor to ask, if you are willing to do it. Would it be possible to get the extravaganza 2 reuploaded? I understand the video is nearly 2 hours long and all, but it was my favorite logo evolution from your main channel.
Disney should literally re-release The Princess Diaries (2001) in IMAX 3D which uses the same "Never Compromise" logo trailer with the voice over of Anne Hathaway saying "Never Compromise" in the background

Good stuff. Still, the no-countdown one that scares the shit out of everybody with the loud boom at the beginning is by far the best :D

IMAX. Where Toonami has its own movie, that they need "Toonami: The Intruder: Legacy"
The 1st Imax Logo is my second favorite Cinema company logo.
But my Favourite is Vue (2015)
1:28 This logo was only used for OMNIMAX/IMAX Dome theatres like the one at Vancouver’s Science World
What about the one before Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation? (I mean just mute the audio if copyright claim is the issue)

Interestingly, on those countdowns with the circling line, in reality, there is never a 2 or 1.
