Andrew, much love mate,…love yer vids, I’m in the Bay Area, California. Destroyed at least ten planes learning how to fly, still learning, please keep it up. Goes good w/morning coffee. Please be safe.
"It is not that easy getting these things on and off." You aren't kidding! Rather than risk bending those little 1.5mm shafts it was easier to run a drill through them before securing the props with the supplied (on mine) 2mm screws. Battery space is at a premium on this. Using the only available 2s (a 1300mah) made it a little nose heavy and required the canopy to be left off and a rubber band used to secure the battery and leads. Still flew quite well in stabilized beginner mode (self leveling) with a Flysky A8S driving a Byme-A stabilizer and even had plenty of spare thrust to undertake the "hover mode" available on the Byme-A. A note for anyone else setting up this with a Byme-A - TAKE THE PROPS OFF! The motors can take off unexpectedly if you don't get the sequence dead right! EDIT...The motors will give a burst when the calibration combination stick command has been successful. Along with a blink of the LEDs.
It's too bad that the battery space for these smaller planes is not designed to be on, or closer to the c of g, so would be much less sensitive to size of battery. Feel for you, having a more suitable battery, and spare servos, but it's all packed up out of reach. Soon it will be better than xmas, being able to unpack all your stuff and enjoy.
@@AndrewNewton LOL. Works great as a Vtol with an 850mah 3s driving a Flysky A8S and Byme-A stab! Set to "Hover", sit on tail (or lean against something if windy) gun the throttle and flip ch7 to "Stabilized" when she's up a few feet! Comes off the deck like its namesake with a Barracuda behind it! 🤪😁 Best sub-250gm around today!
Merry Christmas, Andrew 🎅🏼🎄🎁⛄ things have moved on since those kite photography days 😊👍
Happy Christmas to you too. I still have all of my kites
Thanks! What a simple assembly! Can't wait to see the Maiden.
Lol!
I'm a sucker for small FPV planes. Gave the ZOHD Drift a go, but never got it to fly that well. I'll pickup one these to try it out.
Drift is Awesome, off a cliff it's hands free Mate?
Wake Up Rick.
The little twin work surprisingly well, but I do like the drift a lot
Merry Christmas Andrew!
Marry Christmas to you and yours too Joe
Great video.
Thank for sharing it
Merry Christmas to you and thanks for your helpful Videos.
Happy Christmas to you too

Merry Christmas Andrew I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. I wish all the other fellow pilots a wonderful Christmas
Happy Christmas to you too JC
Does it come with the cable to connect the reciever, shown at 0:41 in the box or do you have to buy it separately?
Special cable that comes with the plane
@@AndrewNewton Thank you :)
Merry Christmas Andrew! . Looks good, waiting for the maiden. 👍🏻
Same to you Stephen. Flight video up tomorrow
cool lil plane ; )
@Andrew Newton Thanks for the honest review. What would you recommend for a flying wing for novices?
Don't learn with a wing Better to try a Bixler 2
Mine came with four screws to hold down the props. 2 ea. per
Merry Xmas Andrew!
I’m headed to the beach this morning for some Le Fishing😎
Greetings from SoCal, where we finally are getting some much needed rain🎉
Sounds brilliant. Missing my slopes
Is that an XT-60 or XT-30 battery plug? I find it increasingly hard to get basic information like this these days. It doesn't say anywhere.
XT-30 from memory. I'll let you know when I find mine in our boxes
@@AndrewNewton You are right. It is XT30 ;) Thanks
Less chance of the props going rouge, when they go the other way 😬🤣
Happy Christmas Andrew, hope you get moved in soon...I want to see some Sloping!!!...🤔😳😳😀😀😀🇬🇧
Happy Christmas to you too. 14 days!
@@AndrewNewton Nice one buddy, hope it goes smoothly...🤔😳😳😀
Hi, are the motors brushless ones?
Yes brushless
ooh this actually has rudder wow wow
Have you found a place to fly at your new location?
Other way around Doug. We found a house near some of the best flying slopes in the country.
@@AndrewNewton That is great news!
MERRY CHRISTMAS MATE. QUICK QUESTION,,,,,, BUT WILL IT SLOPE ??? 😁😳😜🎅
And to you Willie. It will at least once
Norad Santa tracker if anyone wants to see a really tradition

Nice idea, I must look for the tiny screws.
Albert also discovered trying to find the right battery for this is annoying.

Oh yes, looking forward to living in our own space. Happy Christmas to you too
2x 18650s will fit in this - if you do some "fitting"! 😜
Poor little fish!
