Yes my friend, is a typical new wave song of 80's but I dont remember the band had any other hit like this song .I remember learned this song from a very good compilation with 80's (but not big hits) era songs from Virgin records !

You can really here where Inspiral Carpets got their influence on this one but it's also Total The strangler's 👌👍✌️
Interesting point of view! I think as the Inspiral Carpets came out in the mid 80's they were influenced by a lot of bands that started in the late 70's....and thank you for your comment !
