    My 12 year old son needed a new pair of boots and asked what my favourite boots ever were. I showed him these and we found a pair. I have never seen him strike a ball so well. I scored more goals in these than any other boot. I can't wait to see him play in them next season.

    Love the review. Comfort is the key! As a new subscriber who has wide foot and predominantly wears leather boots. I was wondering why do you not review leather boots on your channel?

    • @BootWizard
      @BootWizard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's a personal choice, I don't buy leather boots because I don't buy anything made from animals, so that Includes all leather including boots, so I don't have them to review. I'll freuqently test them in store but I never buy them.
      Welcome to the channel, glad you found me and I hope you enjoy the content even if it's not leather :) 👍🏻🧙‍♂️

    These were never light boots, and for today's standards these are considered super heavy soccer boots, but I would not trade todays lightest soccer boot for one of these air zoom total 90 iii. These are so damn comfortable, literally your feet feel like they've been massaged after every time you wear them. I was looking to buy a pair of new soccer boots today, I could have gotten the new "no weight super fly alpha mercurial quantum speed x etc" but guess what? I just found some of these total 90's on eBay today and bought them.

    • @BootWizard
      @BootWizard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutley, these are from before the time of the super lightweight boot and the change in materials that made it possible so they certainly have some more weight to them, but at the same time it's not a bad feeling and I totally agree about the comfort, these are very nice, it would also be excellent to see companies move one of their silos towards having a really good comfort element to it, it's overlooked too much in my opinon.

    • @brandontyler9278
      @brandontyler9278 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Boot Wizard I agree. Nowadays I get the feeling some players would rather play in lighter boots even if they're not confortable or protective than more sturdy protective boots. It's like they don't know that the best players in the world were never the fastest except maybe Ronaldo 9 the Brazilian. I mean it's good to feel light but talent is talent even in of you played wearing cowboy boots. I respect everyone's choices and opinions but players need to know, no boot will make you faster, but this is football not track, wearing shoes that are more protective and more comfortable WILL make you play better and longer. Cheers.

    • @BootWizard
      @BootWizard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@brandontyler9278 I think it's totally a matter of preference and I understand the desire to play in a very light boot to get that feeling of wearing nothing on your feet and get that super barefoot touch on the ball, it has a lot of appealing aspects. The bit where I 100% agree with you is that it really doesn't matter how light the Boot is, it's not going to make people any fast or play any better, in my opinon the best thing people can do is buy a pair of boots that fits their foot really well and that they feel really great in

    Interesting but i was never a fan of the design and power boot concept... and that 90 is too tacky but i like the concept ... the stories and histories of other boots :) i learn not only about thr boots but also your work ethic, and your will to constantly trying new things :) i hope your channel grows bigger and bigger. Thanks,James!!!

      I think this is a boot that has a lot of nostalgia so I'm willing to overlook a lot of the things that might be issues, you're probably right about the 90, but it's such an integral part of my memory of the boot that it doesn't bother me.

    Nice intro. Unfortunately for me, I felt like the AZT III wasn't as good as the previous generation. Of course, I have a lot of fond memories of the AZT II...
    Edit: Wild "They Live" spotting.

    • @BootWizard
      @BootWizard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd like to try both pairs out again today and see what they're like. I wore the AZT III a lot so I have much fonder memories of this compared to the II, but I wouldn't be confident saying either one was better just because I simply wouldn't remember enough for a comparison. I'd love to get my hands on both again and try them out.

    • @derbyyank13

      @@BootWizard Well our positions are reversed Haha. I did want the AZT III when they first came out and when I finally played in a pair a few years later I wasn't that happy with them. Wow! That's a serious question! I will have to think about that. I might have to give you a few options.
      Because for example I don't think it's the best performing boot of all time, but possibly the most important boot of all time is the copa mundial.

    Came across this video for nostalgia of my high school/club days.. I wore T90 iii's for over a decade in competitive indoor leagues on AG after I was out of school in 06, until I finally wore a hole into the right toe around 2018. I'll tell you man.. I haven't found a pair of boots that come even close to the durability and comfort of these without spending a ton. I'm extremely rough on my boots when defending.. stopping and cutting on a dime. I just blew out a pair of Puma Ultra 2.4's in under 3 months of use.. I dunno what to get anymore man..

    Hey there, great review. Had these boots as a teen but want to purchase them again and can’t remember sizing. May I ask what is the size/fit like? I do like my boots tighter and find I’m more commonly an 8uk but am an 8.5uk in my Nike astro trainers. Got the option to buy some in an 8.5uk and intend on wearing them to play in, but don’t want to waste money if they’ll be too big! Thank you.

    • @BootWizard
      @BootWizard  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've got a pair of these in the bright red colour way. Instead of having the 90 number on the side it has a number 2 in each boot (situated at the back left of each boot). Would you know if this effects the value of the shoe? What do you think they would be worth?
