I'm a PC gamer, and I still play NBA 2K20 on PC (didn't see the point in buying 2K21 as not much changed). I have it modded pretty heavily and it's still a really fun experience. I'll definitely get 2K22 when it drops on PC, but for now 2K20 is my basketball game and it still holds up thanks to mods.

@@spi9066 MyCareer still works and you can mod rosters and faces if you want. However I believe when the 2k20 servers get shut down (which will probably happen early next year so after 2k22 is out), the cutscenes won't work anymore.
I've always wanted aging in 2K, where player's body type and faces change a little over time. I saw a career simulation of LaMelo Ball, and he still looked like a baby at 36.
Modding on 2k21 is so fun, when 2k22 next gen comes out on PC (if it does), it's gonna be a really great modding experience.

i think 1977 is a good season to mod so its pretty cool seeing all the details in the mod.
If i was 2k, i'd just let the community make mods for Offline modes, all of them just let it and put in the game

The fact they didn't release the next gen version on PC is just pathetic honestly. They should also add a decent fucking anticheat so Park is playable on PC.
It really just makes no sense, a high end gaming pc is massively more powerful than any console, so it isn't that they can't run it at the same, if not higher graphical fidelity.

This is my first year of nba2k on pc. I enjoyed nba2k20 on ps4 but I was looking from the outside when looking at mods. so this year I brought the game when it was on sale and I haven't looked back since. really enjoying the freedom of a bit more creativity, the old city jerseys. I don't have nba2k on ps4 this year and I'm not missing it.

Well they don't want to because they want to scam people off of vc's and have the same dev team that's planning to scam people also soo it's never gonna happen because there's never enough money for them.
2k21 on the ps4 was so bad I'm literally making an up to date roster of the 2020-2021 season manually on 2k20. And to be honest I'm probably not getting a ps5 anytime soon. Compared to 2k14 on the ps3/4, the graphics and gameplay jump isn't that monumental so I can bear just buying games for updated rosters since I only really play MyLeague
I have been doing that since 2k18, but I rarely play it. The only 2k's I own are 11,14,16,18.

I personally don't feel left out with the PS4 version. They've already made 2k look so good. The only difference will be lighting and 60 fps. But the PC version will always be better than consoles. Once it's out on PC and they start moding that version it will look great!

@@Jonathan-cz4ky i dont say its bad, i just say there's no real improvment. 2K activated RTX, which gives a better result for close shots. But its saturates the lighting on gameplay cam, it saturates the home jerseys colors (just look at the Lakers "yellow")
@@sticky-fingers I mean what do you mean by no real improvement, because whatever lighting adjustment they did/saturation and graphical adjustment they did to the actual courts, their surroundings and the players faces and bodies along with the clothes and accessories is all an improvement from ps4. It’s very noticeable to somebody who plays the game a decent amount.

Playing console.. one thing that extremely annoys me is when i want to use old school teams (not only for the rosters, but for the jerseys and courts) in a franchise mode, the year of the team is always at the beginning of the team's name. Really ruins the experience for me.

The next gen graphics upgrade is OK, it's the smoother movement, foot planting, and new animations that make the major difference, IMO.

It’s cool and I own 2k20 on PC but I’m not really looking too a version of the game that has 0 cheat detection and a super dead player base to play 2k and mycareer by itself gets boring let alone playing play now by yourself becuase the game looks slightly better and the modding community doesn’t really have as much fun it’s a lot of just slightly better textured face scans and old teams but in general it doesn’t add that much to what 2k already is and what roster creators already do
I am kinda extra privileged tho to own a ps5 and a high end computer but this is just my opinion
