I have been to Palawan but only stayed in Dos Palmas in 2009. El Nido and Coron sound quite enticing...and look ridiculously breathtakingly stunning!
however, they need to be protected as the gov't did in Boracay by minimizing the number of tourists on a daily basis and also, sewage treatment plants are needed for hotel establishments and things alike to preserve these massive beauty of nature that the locals and tourists should find great delight from. Like if you agree :)
That is already in the plan. The tourism officers said that Palawan is next in the agenda after Boracay.
People around the world consider Philippines as a poor country,well eat your heart out Id rather be poor and rich in nature. Industrial country you might be rich in material things but in survival mode you cannot drink your oil and eat your cars and guns. Lets get it straight...

Philippines is not a poor country, Philippines is a middle income economy country, Philippines is dubbed as a newly industrialized country, Big Emerging Market and Asia's Tiger economy.
Poor?! Noooo very rich natural resources. In fact the whole Philippine archipelago is sitting in gold, copper, platinum and diamonds!! Philippine golds are the back up of all central banks all over the world... how did I know do your research and you will be amazed how rich is our country is.

Im just trying to emphasize that people around the world consider us a poor country because of poverty . But they havent seen the real gem of the Philippines. So I just give them a taste of things to ponder upon " survival mode" is the best example . But in reality Philippines possessed/inherited a treasure ...from God beyond we can imagine.

Everything in this video is just breathtakingly stunning. That grassy island already looked beautiful but when the drone zoomed out and revealed the limestone cliffs... just no words.

My only complain about the place is that it's very difficult to access especially the Snake Island, and it's a bit pricey to get there since I only travel alone. But I think its remoteness makes the place so well-preserved.

My it's time to look for travel buddies to share the cost of transportation. You can actually join a group of travelers that you meet in the area.
remember philippines is an island nation..it might be challenging but it worth it.
Try to go and travel THE ISLAND OF MINDORO ORIENTAL ..BEACHES THRE THAT NEVER ..SEEN AND VISIT THE TOURIST...
El Nido never gets old.
It may be over ran with tourists now but the place remains stunning. I just hope the government finds a way to make things more sustainable.
