You really think the media needs to pump up a program or team that has won 11 games a year for 2 1/2 decades and played in 5 national championship games in 22 years? The pump is not for the Buckeyes.
@timalan7406 Well that is what tvey are doing. I want them to do it. I know they laid an egg against Michigan and have two loses. They can come out and completely suck because they have that in them but I like that the media is pumping them up. I want them to lift them up as high as possible. It wasnt an identical game lol, the buckeyes had two more offensive lineman and the ducks were without their best player on defense. I also dont think tennessee was really that good... their defense showed they cant stop the run, and their secondary got burned against good teams like georgia. Whod they beat? An alabama team with losses to oklahoma and vandy? Im not impressed. Ohio state should have throttled them
It’s crazy that no one thinks Ohio state can do it based off the October 12th game… it’s been over 2 months since that game. Things have changed with both teams. Yes, Ohio state loss to Michigan but you can see they have adjusted. It’ll be a good one! It’ll all depend on the Corners for Ohio state!
Can’t STAND everyone (and Ari here) saying “oh it’s really hard to beat the same team twice so I’m going OSU” Yall don’t remember how the exact thing was said when Oregon went to play Washington the 2nd time in the Pac 12 title game? Lmao ALSO if there’s 1 more second on the clock from the first game, OSU probably wins. So then using the same logic, all these experts would be picking Oregon to win bc “it’s gonna really hard for OSU to beat them twice”?
It's all suppositions and ifs, but Ohio State beating #9 Tennessee is akin to #2 Oregon Beating #3 Florida State (59 to 20) in the 2015 Rosebowl. It means nothing. Oregon lost their next game for the National Championship. It wasn't even close (42 to 20). If you're grading by Ohio State/Tennessee game, then you have to consider their loss to Michigan just one game before.
Oregon still giving up 30+ to ranked opponents while Ohio State is giving up less than 20 to ranked. That Ohio st defense is different than what Oregon seen in game one. The rotation was trash and the D was gassed but now guys are rotating in and out and staying fresh.
@ More than all season, try years. That been the problem with Ryan Day since he became Head Coach. Terrible rotations, he lost nearly all his big games in the 4th quarter.
Oregon gave up 600 yards offense to Penn state. The same penn sate team who couldnt even score on OSU. These Oregon kids have no idea what's about to hit them.
2nd best day offensively yes, but Ohio State played one of their absolute worst games defensively. Denzel Burke had the worst game of his career and single-handedly gave up 21 points. Even with that it still took Oregon doing things like trick onside kicks and exploiting rules intentionally to eke out a one point win at home. If Buckeyes play like they did against Tennessee, they will win by two scores easy.
OSU missed 2 FGs against UM and you are telling us they were going to win on a 50Yr FG. As far as the game Oregon has all the players they lost during the season and and I will match up our Dline against their Oline any day with Birch back
did you guys even watch that game? their best game? wow. how about their best lineman goes down, the o line was reeling all game, denzel burke gets burnt like he was on drugs, hasn’t happened since. ducks had the luckiest accidental onside kick. lol. i hate to break it to oregon fans but they’re not winning this game. it’ll be over by the 4th quarter.
People keep talking about how Oregon left points off the board…. Or did Ohio state defense just prevented them from scoring them points? Yes the interception should’ve been Oregon ball but Dan lanning should have challenged that. Idk why people counting Ohio State out. Is it because they lost to Michigan?
I haven't seen anyone counting ohio state out. Everyone on the planet knows this game could go either way based on a bunch of different factors. I'm a lifelong duck fan, but it's easy to see the teams are fairly evenly matched. I just hope both teams show up at their best.
Georgia is still sitting there boys…same for Texas…my bet wouls still be for Georgia. Kirby Smart still calls the best games. And gets his guys ready to play and win the best.
Why does no one EVER EVER mention that in the first game Ohio St should have never scored their first TD because Bassa picked them off and they just didnt get the call. that was a clear INT and Oregon got screwed in that moment.
The play was called a catch for Ohio St. There was no replay because the angles available did not show anything different other than for a moment the ball was loose. It appeared that the receiver gained control of the ball and it was then taken by the defender but once the receiver gained control, on the ground, the play is dead. Does that help? The play should have been reviewed, but it would not be overturned.
Ohio State is 2-8 in the last 10 vs. USC. Ohio State has problems with Pac 12 teams traditionally Michigan is much better vs Pac 12 teams. Oregon will win this game.
I hope we play better than last time and don't make as many mistakes in that game since it's been awhile since this game and hopefully we have learned from our mistakes the first time around and we are a much different team now...I REALLY hope we win this time and advenge our loss because then NOT only will we have a *ichigan problem with them being on a 4 win streak against us but we will also have an oregon problem too as well since that would mean they are on a 3 win streak against us & both are also gonna be top team in our conference...we will REALLY need to figure something out or it's gonna be hard to get back to Indy...It's already been 4 years already & IF *ichigan gets back to indy before we do then I am gonna be REALLY upset & disappointed...we HAVE to figure this out and get this win...Go Buckeyes!!!
Having one good game after the Michigan game doesn't mean they are playing well😅, they had one good game against an opponent who didn't play well at all!!
As i see it right now, things that went each sides way in the first game that are now different in the rematch: Buckeyes - Missed oregon interception Jordan burch out Holden spitting penalty and ejection Multiple weird Oregon special teams plays that didnt work out for extra points Oregon - Home field advantage Josh Simmons injured mid game -> OSU run game ground to a halt Harmon ripping the ball out of Quinshon's hands for the turnover Ohio state cage defense -> allowed gabriel to throw comfortably over our corners' heads Successful squib kickoff to steal a possession Last osu possession involving the 5 second runoff (rule changed) and OPI on jeremiah Smith In total thats 4 things that went ohio states way, 6 that went oregons. Things that i think ALL go differently this time around. Its really hard to call who will win this game when the things that went each team's way are so unsustainable or have literally changed. But unless im missing something else, especially since last game was so close, im taking the team that had less go their way in the first meeting. Im sure oregon will try finding new ways to pull the rug out from under ohio state, but im hoping ohio state completes the revenge arc. Whoever wins this probably gonna win the natty
Except OSU didn’t play a good game??? They had 2 turnovers and 90 yards in penalties. It’s true that Oregon was not able to stop their offense but we did not have a good game. Costly penalties, and none bigger than the weak OPI at the end of the game. OSU can play way better than they did. I don’t think the same is true for Oregon. When OSU is at their best they will not be beat. Caveat…..they’re not always at their best. This should be a good game.
@@ced.2x Yes they did. Oregon is the better team I know a lot of people will hate on me but Dillon Gabriel doesn't roll over even if they're behind, can't forget about Terrence Ferguson that guy is a legend totally under rated.

Big 10 is big boy football. Yes sir.
Gimme The Ohio State Buckeyes!! Ryan Day in a playoff rematch is a different man Oregon getting BTA like Clemson in 2020 !!!
Didn't Washington beat Oregon twice last year by 3 points? It can be done
That was a different team the last time I checked
It wasnt an identical game lol, the buckeyes had two more offensive lineman and the ducks were without their best player on defense. I also dont think tennessee was really that good... their defense showed they cant stop the run, and their secondary got burned against good teams like georgia. Whod they beat? An alabama team with losses to oklahoma and vandy? Im not impressed. Ohio state should have throttled them
Oregon left 8 points on the field
And Ohio State got 7 that they shouldn't have
It’s crazy that no one thinks Ohio state can do it based off the October 12th game… it’s been over 2 months since that game. Things have changed with both teams. Yes, Ohio state loss to Michigan but you can see they have adjusted. It’ll be a good one! It’ll all depend on the Corners for Ohio state!
Not only does the winner have to go play texas, they have to do it in texas. The draw is brutal.
I absolutely am a Duck .
Can’t STAND everyone (and Ari here) saying “oh it’s really hard to beat the same team twice so I’m going OSU”
Yall don’t remember how the exact thing was said when Oregon went to play Washington the 2nd time in the Pac 12 title game? Lmao
ALSO if there’s 1 more second on the clock from the first game, OSU probably wins.
Oregon 34-Ohio State 17. Day gets fired.
Oregon still giving up 30+ to ranked opponents while Ohio State is giving up less than 20 to ranked. That Ohio st defense is different than what Oregon seen in game one. The rotation was trash and the D was gassed but now guys are rotating in and out and staying fresh.
You mean it took them all season to figure that out?
@ More than all season, try years. That been the problem with Ryan Day since he became Head Coach. Terrible rotations, he lost nearly all his big games in the 4th quarter.
Go Bucks! Beat Oregon!
Dude in the blue jacket just said I don’t know what’s gonna happen for 11 minutes 😂
😂😂😂😂 guy goes off one game. 😂😂😂
Wrong.... Oregon's backfield is the true 2 headed monster. The ducks game changer & winner is their tight ends
They had some crazy turn overs that helped the ducks and on side kiss first quarter ....osu is gonna crush them this time
Oregon did not play, in fact has yet to play its BEST game!!! Watch out when it happens!
I'm afraid it might be another toss-up. Both teams are excellent and deserving of a win.
4 turnovers by Ohio St is not a good game by any measure.
Oregon gave up 600 yards offense to Penn state. The same penn sate team who couldnt even score on OSU. These Oregon kids have no idea what's about to hit them.
Taking the number 1 team in the country moneyline?!??🤯😱
2nd best day offensively yes, but Ohio State played one of their absolute worst games defensively. Denzel Burke had the worst game of his career and single-handedly gave up 21 points. Even with that it still took Oregon doing things like trick onside kicks and exploiting rules intentionally to eke out a one point win at home. If Buckeyes play like they did against Tennessee, they will win by two scores easy.
Problem is, they won’t
OSU missed 2 FGs against UM and you are telling us they were going to win on a 50Yr FG. As far as the game Oregon has all the players they lost during the season and and I will match up our Dline against their Oline any day with Birch back
Ohio State 37 Oregon 23
Ohio state doesn’t have a kenyon sadiq💪
Bucks fan here this one is gonna be good ole fashion shootout may come down to the team that has the ball last but very close either team could win it
did you guys even watch that game? their best game? wow. how about their best lineman goes down, the o line was reeling all game, denzel burke gets burnt like he was on drugs, hasn’t happened since. ducks had the luckiest accidental onside kick. lol. i hate to break it to oregon fans but they’re not winning this game. it’ll be over by the 4th quarter.
But my money Ohio State.
Chip Kelly going to keep the Ducks championship all-time No!!! Championship 🏆 going next week!!!!
Oregon wins 31-28
why isnt anyone factoring in injuries not just home field point advantage.. ???
What injury’s need to be factored in?
@@mcgrubityou’re kidding right ?
@@mcgrubityou know half of ohio state’s offensive line is injured right
@@jacksnowden3546 well they looked great last week
@@TwhistyyHD i know o line is hurt but the guys that stepped up looked great
O State did not play good on defense at all in the first matchup!
Ohio State is 2-8 in the last 10 vs. USC. Ohio State has problems with Pac 12 teams traditionally Michigan is much better vs Pac 12 teams. Oregon will win this game.
Whats all of that got to do with now? None of those players are here
@Jleed989 I'm just saying, history matters. Ask Ohio State after that Michigan game lol.
Go Ducks
Ducks don’t pull trucks
Having a month off is gonna hurt them to thats a long time to sit
If osu beats tenn. Oregon. Tx. And ga.or dame... undisputed...
Oregon qb better
Ohio State better half back
Oregon better tight ends
Tie wide receivers
Tie coin flip defense good defenses
Play calling leans Oregon
Not a tie wide receivers. Oregon’s receivers are good…but they aren’t OSU’s receivers.
Penn state is gonna get beat to
I hope we play better than last time and don't make as many mistakes in that game since it's been awhile since this game and hopefully we have learned from our mistakes the first time around and we are a much different team now...I REALLY hope we win this time and advenge our loss because then NOT only will we have a *ichigan problem with them being on a 4 win streak against us but we will also have an oregon problem too as well since that would mean they are on a 3 win streak against us & both are also gonna be top team in our conference...we will REALLY need to figure something out or it's gonna be hard to get back to Indy...It's already been 4 years already & IF *ichigan gets back to indy before we do then I am gonna be REALLY upset & disappointed...we HAVE to figure this out and get this win...Go Buckeyes!!!
Having one good game after the Michigan game doesn't mean they are playing well😅, they had one good game against an opponent who didn't play well at all!!
Why you guys always always 24/7 support Ohio State what is the reason?
As i see it right now, things that went each sides way in the first game that are now different in the rematch:
Buckeyes -
Missed oregon interception
Jordan burch out
Holden spitting penalty and ejection
Multiple weird Oregon special teams plays that didnt work out for extra points
Oregon -
Home field advantage
Josh Simmons injured mid game -> OSU run game ground to a halt
Harmon ripping the ball out of Quinshon's hands for the turnover
Ohio state cage defense -> allowed gabriel to throw comfortably over our corners' heads
Successful squib kickoff to steal a possession
Last osu possession involving the 5 second runoff (rule changed) and OPI on jeremiah Smith
In total thats 4 things that went ohio states way, 6 that went oregons.
What’s Oregon’s payroll? I guarantee it’s similar to OSU.
It's my understanding that Oregon is not even in the top 10 for total NIL
@ when I read a few weeks back- Oregon is actually more than the buckeyes - maybe around 23 million
@@rdelrinc Not even top 10, Oh hell no lmao .😅😂🤣
Except OSU didn’t play a good game??? They had 2 turnovers and 90 yards in penalties. It’s true that Oregon was not able to stop their offense but we did not have a good game. Costly penalties, and none bigger than the weak OPI at the end of the game. OSU can play way better than they did. I don’t think the same is true for Oregon. When OSU is at their best they will not be beat. Caveat…..they’re not always at their best. This should be a good game.
Lol
Ohio state by at least 20
And then u woke up
me when im off the fent
💀
Lol
@@bailey7915off fentanyl???
F the playoffs!
lol you wouldn’t say that if bama was a good team this year.
Tennessee was simply overrated…
OSU also had 1 second that wasn’t granted to them
Their coach didn't call the time out in time.
OSU also got a free 7 😂
@@ced.2x Yes they did. Oregon is the better team I know a lot of people will hate on me but Dillon Gabriel doesn't roll over even if they're behind, can't forget about Terrence Ferguson that guy is a legend totally under rated.
@@nwsights6301 and sadiq is a crazy athlete
@@ced.2x True that! Either way I'm excited for this game, I really want to see Oregon go against Georgia.
What nobody has talked about is that tOSU totally revamped their defense because of that Oregon loss. Gabriel was not pressured, he had all kinds of time to look at the field. He won't have that much time this time.
Bucks 31-17
most predictable game of the playoff........Oregon wins in a route
Crazy to call this the most predictable one of the playoff, anyway Go bucks 🌰
😂😂😂😂😂
You wish you knew everything, this is probably the least predictable game.
Lol the ducks go down smoking I hate the buckeyes but they are hot and the ducks are a choke team with no real talent
No real talent? Ummmm… you have been watching the same games we all have right? Who’s your team? Probably not even in the playoffs.
You guys are a joke... Look at Oregon take a good look and get use to it.. it's Oregon against the world now. Oregon would of put up 60 against Tennessee. Get your clicks for Ohio State we know that's what your looking for.
I thought it was Ohio against the world?
There is no difference between OR and Penn State. The refs screwed PSU
They didn't!!! Buckeye played like that against Oregon or ANY other team, let’s at least be honest, no one’s beating my Buckeye! They lost by a few bad plays here and there, but ultimately due to a poor malfunction of clock management!
I mean Michigan beat Ohio st
@ fact!!! In the horse shoe! That day what could go wrong? Went wrong! But ttun was better that day! 🤷🏾♂️
@@ClaironHall We beat you in 2021 in Columbus and we will beat you twice this season. Ducks 35 Buckeyes 28
@ Ducks won the first one at home by one… you can keep the score, flip it, we advance to the next round! This time, leaving no doubt!!! Go Bucks!!!!
Hahaha! Michigan didn’t just beat y’all-they spanked you and then planted their flag right in the middle of your school logo. Ultimate disrespect! 😂😂
Two weeks ago, OSU stunk it up and lost at home to Michigan. The very next week, they beat an exposed and mediocre TN team who played its worst game of the season, again at home and suddenly, OSU is the greatest thing since sliced bread? Classic but sickening case of recency bias. Listening to guys like you and other national talking heads on this game, why should Oregon show up? Just give OSU the world’s greatest team of all time title and I’ll go play golf. Ridiculous.
I want all you wantabe experts to kiss me where the colt sucks after Oregon wins again.
