    I actually own a black pearl and a blue diamond as a pet owner. I suppose I was lucky to find them. I've had a sapphire and a violet before, but I just love the blue diamond. Whites are one of my favorite colors too.

    Blue Diamonds are probably one of my favourite mutation ever, have you SEEN Cameron's blue diamonds? kindof a dream of mine to one day own one

    • @AllysAnimalAntics
      @AllysAnimalAntics  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No I haven't seen Camerons blue diamonds but I have seen his violets and they are stunning so I have no doubt his blue diamonds would be something extra special. Some of my violets are from Camerons lines and they are gorgeous.
      I know Jean Beardshaw has some lovely blue diamonds, she was one of the first breeders in the UK to breed them seriously. I think one of hers won best mutation at a show a few years back.

      I do love blue diamonds, I don't own one though. I had the chance to buy a blue diamond Royal Persian Angora once but price tag was too high 😂

    Do you think standard grad from a reputed breeder would be the best choice to avoid health problems?
    Maybe other ones ?

    • @AllysAnimalAntics
      @AllysAnimalAntics  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Although there is never a guarantee of no health problems, dominant colour mutations are typically stronger. Standard greys are always a good choice as they will be the building blocks of any reputable breeders herd and are used to help strengthen weaker mutations. Beige is a good choice too, it's a mutation that has been around for years and years so breeders have had the opportunity to strengthen them quite a bit. Velvet is another dominant mutation that's been around for ages. A lot of it depends on the genetic line though and not necessarily the mutation.
      But if I am being honest I have had a lot of issues with violets and also RPAs . I no longer breed any violet RPAs at all I just have them as pets. You may not have the same issues in the US though and it might just be bad luck with me.

      @@AllysAnimalAnticsCan I ask what kind of problems you have had with violet RPA's? Asking as someone who is starting to breed RPA's also in Violet.

    • @AllysAnimalAntics

      @@minerva1784 Unfortinately a lot of malo, I've had to have several chinchillas from the same violet RPA line put to sleep due to malo. And a different line I imported from Belgium have some genetic heart conditions. I don't breed with any of the chinchillas from those two lines now , they are just pets now.

    Can you make videos about budges or recommend a good TH-cam channel?

    • @AllysAnimalAntics
      @AllysAnimalAntics  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I am going to try to do more budgie content in the future😀 When I first got my budgies I was still learning so didn't feel confident in making videos on them but I have gained a lot of knowledge since then.
      A channel I would recommend for budgies though is Love of Pets. Donna who runs the channel has a whole bunch of birds including budgies, she is super knowledgeable and to be frank has a bird room that makes me very jealous 😉 She has quite a few videos on budgies on her channel.

      @@AllysAnimalAntics Thank you so much❤️
      I got a little job at Avian rescue where they have big, medium and small parrots
      I just clean in cocktails room
      The situation is very sad , most birds have very little feathers, they don’t get fresh food and a room is extremely dirty
      I could never even imagine it could be so bad ☹️
      The other thing is I watched some random channel about chin Sammy , she posts only shorts and she feeds him so many snacks , bowls of cheerios with dried strawberries and some other commercial crap mixed in
      I tried to explain how harmful it can be but nothing is changing
      I feel so bad for this poor chin

    • @AllysAnimalAntics
      @AllysAnimalAntics  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sounds very sad , budgies and parrots should be given fresh food, a seed only diet is very bad for them. Donna's channel is really good, she has a number of small parrots, cockateils, budgies , finches. A real wealth of knowledge.
      It's difficult to convince some people that fruit and lots of treats are bad for chinchillas. It's one of those things that depending on where you live the care can be drastically different. I have noticed that with more Eastern countries and some countries in Europe they will feed their chinchillas fresh fruit and vegetables or a raw based diet. It's hard to convince them other wise as it's probably the care advice they have been given in their country.
      It's very tricky. If I know that the owner is from US or UK though I do try and give them advice on how to care for them because its generally accepted in the UK and US that fruit is a no no.
