There is a shining example of 2 Moab businesses collaborating on one job, have friend along and get shenanigans while the work gets done. Great video as usual and Thanks
When Colt said he wanted to stand on top of the rock and go "Kaw, Kaw" I was laughing out loud. 🤣😂 Great job guys! You had the right crew for the job. Thanks for taking us along.
That looked to be a challenging recovery. Nicely done by all that helped. Graceful slide Colt. I've said before & will again it never gets dull watching Rory & the crew do their job. Thanks for sharing.
Couldn’t have pulled the side x side, that was on its side, off the side of the hill, without my sidekick’s 😂 Always fun with you fellas, and great to meet Colt, the side kicks were a vital part of the operation!! Hahaha
This looked way easier than the white jeep from a couple years ago...now that you have all the great Yankum gear. Love the fun lovin element you all bring, including Colt !!
What I really like about this channel, which separates them from most other recovery channels is the teaching aspect, they explain what and how they are doing the recovery.
Always admirable how much respect you all have for the trails. Next people through would have no idea there was a jeep up there and a recovery took place.
You know these guys are REAL MEN OF 4X4/ ROCK CRAWLING when they TRAIL FIX and then get it started ( with no brakes ) and drive/winch it up a 40° incline with rocks and trees making the climb difficult! " ......it dont matter if it smokes all the way down , its the no brakes thing that makes it fine...... YOU'LL BE FINE!
Trail repair before the recovery can start, rig then re-rig...the things you guys need to do for a recovery. Hope these people not only are glad they survived but appreciate all the skill and knowledge you guys did for the recovery of the RZR. Thanks for sharing.
Great job on the recovery!! That was in a pretty bad spot. Sure glad I was NOT along for that ride! LOL!! Looks like you had a really good helper crew to assist in the recovery. Thanks for all the great videos you put out and keep up the good work. Mike and Shawn are always a pleasure and Colt and Dustin some welcome flavor to the crew!! Keep those great videos coming!!!
What a really cool recovery! I absolutely love all this rigging because it really shows what "rigging" is capable of. This is exactly why you can't have too much recovery gear because you never know if you need 1 extension or 3 and whether you need a tree saddle or 5 and having all the loops and pulleys. And to do this on a slope that is like 50 degrees or more.... requires so much wherewithal to know how to operate and do all this stuff! Awesome work team!
That Colt is a busy guy. That’s the second trail repair I’ve seen him do today. Great team recovery. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there. 😎🇬🇧
Colt became the naturally aspirated extra quads, back and arm power to push the side by side backwards. It's always interesting to watch the Trail Mater Crew rig up and get em out.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🤜🏾🤛🏾
Wonderful collaboration... so many skilled people coming together to get the job done!.... and glad Lilli's CJ comes to the rescue... as many others have mentioned, wonderful instructional commentary from Mike along the trails 🙂 ... Glad to hear about seat belts and functional roll cage saving lives 🙂 watching the Trail Mater Crew use their headphones sooo effectively makes me wonder why their buddy Matt has not discovered their success 😂 Soooo much applied mathematics in the recovery 🙂 Thanks for sharing
I am very happy to see that the people in the side by side survived their tumble down the hill.😮😮. I'd still be screaming! Thank for sharing the work everyone did in repairing the vehicle, righting it, rigging and encouraging it to go back up the hill. Did I mention I'd be screaming 😱? Great job everyone. Great job.❤❤
That intro reminded me of the videos of regular tow trucks flipping cars over and then suddenly the hook drops off and the car rolls back off the road and into a different ditch. I can't imagine anyone doing a recovery without a soft shackle anymore. I've watched Rory and Casey LaDelle flipping over vehicles with one winch to start the roll and another to catch the vehicle and lower it back onto its wheels. That's the way you do it.
Only thing I would ever add to your videos (aside from judges with scorecards for the graceful sliding) would be an inclinometer(sp?) so we know just how sketchy sketchy is. Colt as the one man tow truck braker/shover was an invaluable add to this adventure.
Shout out to Colt for helping, you all did a fine job. I almost got dizzy looking at all that rigging lol. Great job filming Mike 🎥 Thanks for the video guy's.
The RZR has given a lot of y'all offroad recovery folks a lot of business! Between noobs driving, excessive testicular fortitude, and breaking parts, they suffer a bit. Speed gets many, I can name 4 or 5 different RZR incidents among people I know, alcohol and speed mostly. Among the side by sides, I'm more the Mahindra Roxor type. Closer to what I grew up driving. Dad preached "as slow as you can, as fast as ya gotta" to us growing up.

This trail reminds me of one I did a couple weeks ago. Narrow, fallen trees, and sketchy. We had to partially clear a huge tree, probably 3 feet in diameter. Good times.
I love you guys, the way you work together I feel like you genuinely enjoy working together and are friends. Please never bring in a girl half your age to flirt with and drive up ratings, like that other channel does.
Good video with Colt, Mike, Shawn and other's involved in this sketchy recovery of a side by side that rolled off the narrow trail. A repair fixed the damaged frame and it started but no brakes! All went well except for a couple of slides down the steep hill. They got em out!
Really enjoyed this one. I think what made it so good for me is all the rigging that was going on. It was nice to see the connections and the use of the non-edible donuts! Thanks.
I was beside myself watching you slide down the dirt side of the shady side of the side hill to recuse the side by side. Besides the wonderful rescue from you guys of the side by side your jokes and side acrobatics were so funny I slide off my side chair. Great rescue to all you guys/and lady to work side by side together. enough. LOL
Lily's jeep to the rescue, yay! It's sooo green there, beautiful! Awesome job, redirect to preserve the forest, keeping everyone safe, you guys are the BEST!! 😊
'Many hands make light work" & with the skill & prowess of Rory and his crew (equipment & know how, 2/1 system) that very tedious & difficult recovery was done in an efficient manner; & the video informative & well done.
That recovery went pretty smooth for being so sketchy. some spots on that trail looked like they should be walked and not driven. Glad no one was hurt. Stay safe and healthy guys.

Always glad to see you an your daughter out on the trail or just building stuff.
You are hysterical. 2L2Q
Intentionally yes… graceful? I’m not sure that’s the correct use of the word😂😂😂
New side channel idea…Colt Pushes It 😎
Watching you slide down the side hill on your backside had my sides aching. 😂😂
Trailmater is the BEST crew for off road recovery repair videos. Their chemistry is a perfect blend to get the jobs done and be entertaining.
Mike's nature observations add a great element to the channel

It's a change of pace when we get to see a true SXS mechanic do their thing, then to have Colt be the bolt keeper.
You gotta love it when colt and his better half turn up, knowledgeable and humorous. Just great watching all these channels and the people on them.

I’m just beside myself. You guys are awesome. Adventure and comedy. It gets no better.
I'm totally on your side. These guys are so much more than a side show.
Who needs 4x4 when you have a Colt?😁
Nice to see a little outside of the normal recovery and the purple CJ putting in the work.
Colt seems to be himself more when he’s with this crew than any other.
Which one is Colt?
