The repeated “you must be happy” and “always be happy” took away from the positive experience for me. Wasn’t expecting you to dismiss the sadness like it was an annoyance to you.
Sorry for your loss, losing a loved one is extremely difficult. Perhaps I don't understand in the way you feel exactly, but I've also lost quite a few pets and people that I cared and loved deeply, too. I'm sure that they love you just as much as you love them. I'm sure that they're in a safe place, a calm and warm place. :(

I got her phone number again from her daughter, as Facebook isn't an option anymore after she got hacked awhile back. My plan was to call her and talk to her a bit to let her know I'd not forgotten her, wished her a happy birthday, and remind her I am always sending her love. My physical condition was acting up to the point I didn't have the energy to do a phone call and had to text her instead.
