For everyone's info, apparently level 48 is when everything from the content appears. Even if you max conjuration apparently you still need to be that high level for spells to all appear and to get the enchanted Robe set.
6:37 Fun tidbit about that fight. If you knock the Soul Gem off the pedestal next to him it breaks his bind on the ghosts, which will then attack him as vengeance.
I've been toying around with the Bone colossus spell for awhile now and noticed something awsome. When the bone colossus is summoned on the field, you can summon an additional 2 skeletal minions of your choice. Pair this with the New Elite necromancer enchanted robes ( Rare Drop from high lvl necromancers, I was 60 when I found them) and the dark souls perk, you can have up to 4 additional skeletal minions with the bone colossus. As a side note if you summon the bone colossus while already having summons out it will desummon them.
just to add to this I think the highest robes and hood you can find are called Ascendent robes/hood and also you can disenchant these items. you can enchant other gear. (so technically speaking with the alchemy exploit with restoration potions you can make all summons last forever because of the robe enchantment) also will update but I believe by lesser spell from what I notice anything higher then adept will not work for the additional summon. I just learn that some expert level spell do work and some adept spells can not have a max of 3.
Just a quick note if you summon a desthpriest followed by a colossus you can summon two more desthpriests, then after that the first one will desummon spawning 3 shades so you’ll basically have a mini private army of shades when the last two desthpriests die
@@miah.rakida I checked to see if that would work and unfortunately no it only works on body armor it wouldn't work for any rings or necklaces. :( so currently max summons is 4 if you put down a bone colossus..... or the ritual stone with the aethereal crown putting it on and off XD undead army!!!
@@miah.rakida well even npcs can only summon 1 it’s just most the time we fight groups of necromancers, but I think the main reason our limit is so low is to keep the game stable, normally even with the ritual stone after about 10 or so guys movement gets annoying and after about 15 or so especially for console players it becomes lag town central for those using any mods at all. But I don’t know that’s my guess I don’t play on console so that’s the reason I assume it was so limited.
Pro tip: if you summon the ancient deathpriest and then summon the bone colossus the deathpriest will split into 4 shades, however if you summon it again both the shades and colossus will remain, since the shades don't take up a summoning space you can do this before summoning your other minions and get a massive army
I normal do that and resummon with bone colossus ancient deathpreist two skeleton champion and the cursed shade because it consider a less summons for a massive army lol no need to do anything but sit back watch
You can reset vendor's by quicksaving after buying items and then hitting them. Reload as soon as you've hit them and you get a fresh set of items to purchase.
@@ded2thaworld963 Well it is a Master Spell, usually in Vanilla Skyrim you don't see corresponding spells based on difficulty until your at least 10 levels away. In this case to get the Bone Colossus spell you'd likely have to be at least 90 in conguration.

They’re not supposed to summon additional allies. With the Ancient Deathpriest, he splits into 3 shades upon dying. With Bone Colossus, after you summon him, you can then summon an additional 2 more skeletons. However that being said, you can actually summon up to 3. I have been using Bone Colossus and 3 skeleton warlocks and they’re pretty op and I’m level 79. For those wandering, I found Bone Colossus in apocrypha during a black book! All the others were from Phinis!
Im using them on my mannimarco build. i managed to legitimately become a lich without mods. it involves having a follower dead thrall you, and then regaining both player controlls and independence from the follower you are tethered to. Then you have to get glitched to have the permanent undead flag (which is literally impossible to remove). contrary to popular knowledge, you do not actually have to be a vampire to be flagged as undead and benefit from necromage or the bloodworm helm. Tricking the game into permanently flagging you as undead is arguably better than being a vampire anyways simce i have no weakness to sunlight or fire. oh yeah, I got the psijic robes LEGITIMATELY too since mannimarco was a psijic for awhile. They are spelled wrong in game though. its also a paaaaaim but worth it for the build. i did it on my divayth fyr build too. ive dead thralled both miraak and gormlaith multiple times also. there are waaaaaaay more glitches for skyrim than people realize. not even 1 in a thousand players know any of the truly good glitches. Not even the big skyrim youtubers like spiffinbrit truly understand how to glitch in this game. all that the mainstream youtubers seem to know is easy stuff lile fortify resto potions or duping items with a follower. They dont even show the better duping methods, or the true benefits of making fortify resto pots. they cant seem to think outside the box. For example, you can use the fortify resto glitch to make fortify alchemy potions which make alteration effects longer. from there you make a fortify poison resistence potion that has a secondary effect of destruction. Since fortify poison resistence is alteration, the whole potion is classed as alteration. this means you can make fortify destruction potions that last 10,000 hours or so..... Cloaks actually get extended damage AND range from this. This means cloaks can now instantly kill any enemies before you even see them. you could walk into a dungeon on legendary and the whole dungeon up until the next loading door would clear the second you walked in. its stupidly overpowered. You can however buff just the duration to extremes, and leave the damage buffs a little more on the moderate side.
@@alexcrowder1673 tbh I want to say glitching is not 'legitimately' lol. I think you'd have a much better time as a lich using one of the undeath mods variants. Am currently playing as a vampiric lich that can actually transform into a dragon priest and respawns dnd style at his phylactery. I also have a powerful necromancer thrall (Antioch) from the mod that has 2.5k mana lol. Besides that one of my other fav is one of the mages that are with the guy inside the Black Star and the Volkihar vampires that try to gank you when you get the bloodstone chalice. Eventually I'll prob add that douche Ancano just to make him suffer eternally and Miraak once he falls before me like leaves in the wind. Personally at lvl 67-ish I have nearly 1k mana. Every 100 mana lets me control another thrall and every 50 mana a skeleton (ordinator/dark arts). Because of this I have 9 thralls that don't turn to dust and a 10th soon. I have tanks and mages in my army and generally don't even use my skeleton army as just my thralls alone are an unstoppable force of doom that can take out a master centurion in seconds (just a few of them too). I'm even able to rez a worm thrall that is a dragon priest. Also my undead are immune to my element of choosing which atm is frost because I'm lazy but will make it fire once I get to it. I'm mostly using resto magic with poison/disease effects since they're immune to those too and but then for the rest I usually use fire. No need to have ridiculous cloaks that take away the ability to play the game :P If I want cloaks I can just put those on all my minions and I suppose it'll have about the same effect; only doing exponentially higher dmg while surrounded by my burning undead. Glitch if u want, but u can play legit and be an unstoppable force of unlife as well. PS. Modded is really the best way to play elder scrolls games; as a modded vampire lord you could fly. I wouldn't want to play unmodded, it becomes infinitely better with mods.
@@benwil6048 I have tried that and I completely and utterly disagree. Its silly to even suggest. 1st of all, people need to get it through their head that not all systems have mods. Ill say it again. Not all systems have mods. Im playing on android (on my phone) emulating the switch version. Mods are not even an option. Ive said it a thousand times and feel like a broken record, not everyone can or wants to use mods. Mods also arent automatically better. Doing something with a mod is also not NEARLY as satisfying as glitching the game and actually achieving something the game never intended. Many mods are just as gamebreaking as console commands. The whole point is doing it without mods is BECAUSE YOU CAN. There is ZERO satisfaction in achieving ANY of the things i have mentioned with mods. The WHOLE point of achieving something difficult is that you did it even though it was difficult, or in some cases, thought to be impossible. Most of what i described was thought impossible until just a year or two ago. THAT is why its cool. Why the hell would anyone want to do it the basic bitch way that everyone has been doing for a decade with mods? Theres no sense of achievement at all. A lot of what i did on my phone was the 1st time anyone had ever done all of those things on 1 single character. Thats what makes it cool. If you want to play with mods like everyone else go for it. But by playing with mods all your achievements are meaningless. Not only does the game no longer recognize them, people dont either. No one cares what people do on modded games. I couldnt care less about your modded flying necromancer. It sounds like an incredibly boring way to play. They are modded which makes them way to easy. Anything you accomplish gets reduced to "yeah but you play with mods so it doesnt count". Thats exactly how i feel about your playthrough. You didnt accomplish anything cool. You just downloaded a cheat mod. so congratz.
@@alexcrowder1673 Are you for real? If your mods make the game infinitely easy with zero challenge, then you're using the wrong mods. On Xbox with over 100 mods, it's still a challenge on Master and Legendary fighting vanilla enemies, let alone the modded enemies that can one tap you if you play like an idiot. Beyond that many of my 100 are bug fixes, better customization, making vampires actually worth playing, better graphics and animations, making spouses more interesting than watching paint dry, etc. Not every mod is a game breaking weapon that takes the fun out, I've had far more fun with mods than I ever did without.
I found a Elite Necromancer set at the Ritual Stone and a Unenchanted Necromancer set at Brittleshin Pass. They were taken from the Necromancer enemies so I would recommend saving before checking these locations
Pro tip before heading to yngvild pick up the spell telekinesis from College teacher (Tolfdir) then once you about to face the necro! (Arondil) you may notice a soul gem on a pedestal next to his seat this is how he binds all the fem ghost to his will... so use telekinesis to pull it toward you while sneaking an as soon as you add it to your inventory all the ghosts turn against Arondil it's a neat advantage.
I found the master spell tome "conjure bone colossus" in a random end of dungeon chest and currently my conjuration is only level 50. So It looks like you don't need to be level 100 conjuration to find them in the wild.
@@juleshovens7494 sorry but no. I did not think about it at the time. But it did come out of a end of dungeon chest where you have a chance to get rarer items. It might have been faldars tooth at the top of the tower but I'm not 100% sure.
You mentioned having an issue with the bone colossus and deathpriest not summoning properly but I noticed the spell absorption effect triggering when you were in close proximity. I think that is the reason you are having issues, either your character’s gear or passive abilities like the atronach perk from the alteration skill tree or atronach standing stone are causing you to absorb the summons. This is a bug that was fixed by the unofficial patch.
Bone colossus was never effected by spell absorbtion. None of the CC conjuration spells are. The only part that is effected is the health regeneration of the bone colossus, but its also relatively irrelevant unless you use mods to give your skeletal summons spell absorbtion or something . Pretty much only the older base game summons are effected.
DO NOT quick save, normal save. NEVER quick save! It corrupts your safe, you have been warned. Also do not auto-save, yes I know it is a pain but it is what it is
I found a fixed location for the non-enchanted Necromancer Robes and a Necromancer Hood. This version lacks the mask and runic designs. If you go into Fellglow Keep, in the circular room you can find it on a shelf.
Actually if you have the enchanted Necromancer Robes mentioned or applied the Enchantment to your own gear you can have up to 6 in total with the bone forge: 1. Bone forge minion 2. Standard Conjure 3. Twin Souls perk Conjure 4. Empower Necromancy Conjure 5 & 6: Bone Colossus extra Conjures
I finally found my set in Yngvil. I had to save before entering the door yo thd final room and after quite a few reloads until Arondil decided to leave his normal necromancer robes in the closet and go with this beauty.
I have just discovered a great little bug with the *Soul Split* spell. I’m not sure if this is common knowledge, so here goes; The Apprentice spell states **Sacrifice a friendly conjured or reanimated minion to summon 2 Sundered Shades for 60secs**. This alone is fairly good. However, if you hit a summoned Corpse/Zombie with this *before the “raising” animation is complete* - the John Doe doesn’t turn to ash. Considering the fairly low spell cost of Reanimate Corpse and Soul Split, I can summon and split a corpse immediately - leaving me with a Zombie and two shades! Very nice at low levels. I’m only lvl6 and I’m summoning 3x undead. Combining this with Necromancy, Dark Souls, Dual casting etc - I’m guessing this could get *really powerful*.
That is cool! try combining it with the glitch to pick perks without leveling up. You can get twin souls by lvl 5! So then with your trick you could have 2 reanimated corpses plus 4 shades by lvl 5 while having 100 conjuration. Basically just lvl conjuration to 100 without leveling up. then level up only the exact number of times you need to get the desired perks (4 level ups in the case of twin souls) and then hit cancel on the next lvl up. now turn survival mode on and youll be able to pick perks without leveling up from it. If you already play survival, just turn it off to lvl conjuration and then go back to survival once youve leveled up to the desired lvl. This is great for necromancers to stay at lvl 32-34 forever so that they can still reanimate all the good dead thralls. After lvl 34 you lose the ability to revive a pretty huge number of powerful corpses.
They will randomly be on necromancers all around Skyrim. Not just in one location. Just go around on a necromancer dungeon crusade and you’ll come across em
I found my Elite set at The Ritual Stone. Just a tip. Save before entering a dungeon/fast travelling to an area with Necromancers. I tried this tactic at Brittleshin Pass and the Necromancer at first had a normal necromancer black robe and eventually a managed to obtain the non-enchanted regular Necromancer Robe + Hood added by Necromancers Grimoire.
Here's a tip that works: save outside the cave, rush to the throne room, check/kill the guy, if he's not wearing the robes, reload and rush it again, I finally got mine tonight.
1:09 Instead of leaving and waiting the 24 hours ingame you can Save and hit him, reload your old save and he'll have a different inventory selection. This can be done on any Vendor in the game.
The Ancient Deathpriest and Bone Colossus spell tomes, as well as Ascendant Necromancer hood and robes, won't spawn on vendors or as loot until character level 40. Access to these Creation Club spell tomes is set by character level level, not skill level, which is completely different from the rest of the game. No wonder people are confused.
If you don’t want to wait 2 in game days or die you can just quick save, hit the shop keeper or kill them, and reload. The shopkeepers items would have reset
For all! The Elite/ascendant necromancer robes is drop on ONLY arch necromancer or unique boss necromancer of any dungeon. I fine the élite version on Arch necromancer in snowhawk fort, at west of morthal…save before entering in the fort and reset until it appears on Arch Necromancer. Obviosly the level of PG must be 48 or more
it takes 48 hours for a shopkeeper's inventory to reset like Phinias. However you can just save smack him till he is hostile and reload that save and his inventory will refresh. Save, Hit, Load.
Good way to get conjuration 100 is to use soul trap on a dead body over and over and wait 1 hour to replenish your magicka so u can do it over and over
Tbh, I kinda wish the necromancy spells weren't just summon this or that. We already have spells to animate corpses, which is more the kind of necromancy that I want. How about some spells to modify your dead thralls and give them special abilities? Or some more offensive necro spells so I don't have to just use ice every time I wanna play a necromancer.
Really? ive never even considered using attacks on necromancer builds and i play on legendary with survival on. i dont want the exp id get from destruction spells. necromancers are meant to stop lvling at lvl 32-34 unless you hate dead thralls or something. leveling past 34 makes you miss out on most of the good ones.
When im necromancin' everyone's dancin' no one can stop me, i dare you to try the dead are infused with sensational groove and there comin for you there's nowhere to hide
How i managed to get all the spells, is have no like merchant mods rich merchant stuff disable that so it dosent bug the sellers of the books, go to the college of winterhold, be lvl 100 conjuration, go to the necromancer dude at the college talk to him buy spells, save game punch him 4 times reload save buy more books rinse and repeat dont wait 24 hours!
Found the elite necromancer robes in Yngvild on the throne room the boss will have them if you’re at least lvl 60 if you don’t get the robes just use Dead thrall on him and teleport till his robes respawn if it doesn’t repeat the spell and teleport again till they do
I notice you're wearing Remnant gear as well. Clearly a person of taste and culture. I'm currently doing a necromancer build and made a set of gear including dunmer shoes which code as body when enchanting so have double empower necromancy enchants giving my summoned/raised bois MUCH longer summon times. This coupled with dual casting in Conjuration tree, along with vamp necromage and Bloodworm Helm can make a summon that ordinarily lasts 60 seconds last for literal hours. I'll stroll into a ruin or cave and summon a bone colossus then ayleid lich (great welkynd stone+ruined book+salt pile at atronach forge to make the spell tome) then three wrathmen and just let them clear the entire area. Make sure to summon in that order to maximize your amount of rowdy kids. It's pretty damn satisfying.
Yes, it's called the Empower Necromancy Enchantment, however you should note that even with all the best enchanting gear and skills and perks you can only have 1 extra summon, and the extra duration caps out at I think 22% wheras the best Robes that spawn have up to 25% extra duration
I find robe and hood in a chest in Ustengrav, a dungeons next to solitude to the Est, but the enchantment didnt work for me. My magic point don't increase even after a reload. I was level 33 at this time.
The big bone boi dont summon skellies he allows YOU to summon two MORE skellys he raises the summon cap...but it wasnt working if you had the UNOFFICIAL SKYRIM PATCH loaded it may be fixed now.
The spells seemed to be level locked for me. At level 10 I got his apprentice spells to show up, at level 20 his adept spells finally showed up. There may be a difference between the console and pc version idk.

Hey Jade PG I'm going to excuse this because you haven't played Skyrim in a long time unless you haven't played a mage playthrough before but how the spells work even in the base game of Skyrim is that you have to be a certain level to have access to higher level spells there are five level of spells which are novice apprentice adapt expert and finally master now that being said novice and apprentice spells you have access to at any skill level but for adapt level spells you need to be level 50 and for expert level spells you have to be 75 and for Master level spells you have to be level 100 but that being said the base game master level spells for each spell school you can only have access to them when you reach a hundred and do a quest for the main spell vendor of their category and actually for the conjuration school when you do the Master level spell quest for conjuration you get access to a sigil stone that you have to take to the astronaut forge at the mage college sorry I'm using the voice feature so it's not picking up on how the spell it but it's basically that mage forge under the culture winterhold you take the citrus Stone there and it gives you access to daedric summons and actually if you max out your conjuration skill at level 1 which there is a way to do it and you take the central Stone to the forge you can actually have it summon daedric armor and weapons which you have access to at level 1 I don't remember what the recipes are to do that you have to look that up for yourself that being said they are written down somewhere but Bethesda had them written down in the daedric language so you would have to translate them or just watch another TH-cam video on what the recipes are like I have I would recommend a channel but I don't want to get kicked or piss anyone off

Yes. The Hood enchantment is called Dark Moon and the Robes enchantment is called Necromancer's empowerment. Dark Moon is twice as potent as a Fortify Magicka enchantment and can be applied to all the same items of that of Fortify Magicka but the enchantment reduces your health regeneration by 30% (the health regeneration debuff is fixed).
The daedric symbols on the robe spell: "Hail Worm King, through death find life eternal".
Nice reference to Mannimarco.
No need to have ridiculous cloaks that take away the ability to play the game :P
If I want cloaks I can just put those on all my minions and I suppose it'll have about the same effect; only doing exponentially higher dmg while surrounded by my burning undead.
They were taken from the Necromancer enemies so I would recommend saving before checking these locations
thanks I will check these
Honestly this was one of the things I was most excited for! Being able to play a necromancer Oblivion style is gonna be awesome.
Do you know the dungeon name
@@juleshovens7494 sorry but no. I did not think about it at the time. But it did come out of a end of dungeon chest where you have a chance to get rarer items. It might have been faldars tooth at the top of the tower but I'm not 100% sure.
Bruh i was a nord warrior with no illusion skill at all and found invisibility in a random chest
@@juleshovens7494 its random anyway
@Steelson baird what is your character level ? It seems character level is what unlocks it.
Bone Colossus allows you to summon two additional undead below master level and Deathpriest splits into three shades when it dies.
Tip for those trying to skip the whole waiting the days. Quicksave, punch the vender who you want to change up their inventory, reload and tadaaa
I used to do the whole waiting 2 says thing lol, I'm glad I now know better way :D

Man, summon a Bone Colossus and a Priest and just stand back and laugh maniacally.
I found a fixed location for the non-enchanted Necromancer Robes and a Necromancer Hood. This version lacks the mask and runic designs. If you go into Fellglow Keep, in the circular room you can find it on a shelf.
Yup
I think you have to summon the extra skeletons yourself with the collosus so you can have 5 in total with the bone forge
Actually if you have the enchanted Necromancer Robes mentioned or applied the Enchantment to your own gear you can have up to 6 in total with the bone forge:
1. Bone forge minion
2. Standard Conjure
3. Twin Souls perk Conjure
4. Empower Necromancy Conjure
5 & 6: Bone Colossus extra Conjures
Brutal
I finally found my set in Yngvil. I had to save before entering the door yo thd final room and after quite a few reloads until Arondil decided to leave his normal necromancer robes in the closet and go with this beauty.
Here's a tip. Cast soul split on the shades the tomb guardian makes to get more shades.
Then pair this with Ahzidals Ring of Necromancy. And watch as your entire screen becomes an angry flash bang
I have just discovered a great little bug with the *Soul Split* spell. I’m not sure if this is common knowledge, so here goes;
The Apprentice spell states **Sacrifice a friendly conjured or reanimated minion to summon 2 Sundered Shades for 60secs**.
When I beat the boss he only had the regular necromancer set without the skull hood.
Here's a tip that works: save outside the cave, rush to the throne room, check/kill the guy, if he's not wearing the robes, reload and rush it again, I finally got mine tonight.
watching these vids even tho i’m stuck on a black screen
1:09 Instead of leaving and waiting the 24 hours ingame you can Save and hit him, reload your old save and he'll have a different inventory selection. This can be done on any Vendor in the game.
The Ancient Deathpriest and Bone Colossus spell tomes, as well as Ascendant Necromancer hood and robes, won't spawn on vendors or as loot until character level 40. Access to these Creation Club spell tomes is set by character level level, not skill level, which is completely different from the rest of the game. No wonder people are confused.
I love conjuration, especially when i need a tank.. but with all these throwback oblivion and morrowind creations
I miss the spider deadra!

Update: Works there too did it during the Sand and Wind quest
vekel the man in the ragged flagon gives you the mission to recover some journals from that necromancer near dawnstar.
it takes 48 hours for a shopkeeper's inventory to reset like Phinias. However you can just save smack him till he is hostile and reload that save and his inventory will refresh. Save, Hit, Load.
Good way to get conjuration 100 is to use soul trap on a dead body over and over and wait 1 hour to replenish your magicka so u can do it over and over
yes, but use soul harvest (aoe) instead
Thanks for info. Took forever to get the Collosus

By teleport do you mean fast travel??
I didn't find the elite robes...does anybody know why?
Can the Elite Necromaner Robes be disenchanted? I'd love to put the "Conjuration Spells last x longer" on armor
The Ascendant Necromancer Robes/Hood can be disenchanted and used for custom enchants. So it would be strange for the Elite once not to be.
Yes, it's called the Empower Necromancy Enchantment, however you should note that even with all the best enchanting gear and skills and perks you can only have 1 extra summon, and the extra duration caps out at I think 22% wheras the best Robes that spawn have up to 25% extra duration
