That's a fun one. I enjoy seeing the interesting stuff that you and guys like Justin come up with. Little pieces of American music history in a way. People just built stuff out of necessity and the things they had readily at hand

Nice! As a cigar box guitar builder, I certainly appreciate builds out of the ordinary! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

That's the way you do it! Experiment, try things out. Anecdotes about tone woods are a dime a dozen. I was thinking about doing something like what you did, for testing tone woods on a solid body electric guitar. Your "Stock" just shot through the roof with this video! Super cool! 😎👍🔊

That's so fun... But my dog wants his bowl back! And you never want to mess with 12 lbs of Yorkie attitude!

Hey - hoping you can advise me. I am doing a Jazz bass with an amazing flame top I bought from Kimble, and am wondering if you put the Angelus dyes directly on raw wood, or if you use a sanding sealer first then lightly sand it back and then add the dyes. Grateful for your advice please.

Haha I did a 2 pound tomahawk steak resonator. Sound was terrible but tasted absolutely delicious. Medium rare open tuning.

Love those weird stuff! Great idea! Sky is the limit! Does replacing the dog bowl with a cat bowl give it more mellow sound? ;) :)

Drill some small holes in the dog bowl inner sides. Throw in a piezo and ........

Justin Johnson can make a guitar from a roll of paper towels. Well, Derek. If it's "practically impossible to play this high", don't get high before you play.😂🤣
