A guy told us they stock it every two weeks all summer long, and they have a PLR of 14-20 inches, all trout that size have to go back, and only one a day over 20 inches can be kept. Good shot at some really big rainbows and browns, and healthy sized brookies. Even with the poor conditions though, we did really well!

We only saw the one feeder creek. The water levels could be down, it was flooded when we were there, but we really want to get back and try the main stem of the river when water levels are down.
Dana caught the trifecta with the fish, the tree and branch next to her. haha. What are the chances that you guys show up to that spot and the hatchery is releasing at the same time. Awesome time for sure.
How you been Nosh! I was trying not to crack up when she got it undone and then caught the other one! We really did time that right. The river was flooded and it had been kind of slow, and then we started seeing big schools of fish swim by, and Dana caught one, that's when she spotted the truck, They were all coming up that creek because of the current in the river we figure. Can't complain about that!
Fishing in Mill Creek on the Clinch River is like fishing in a barrel.
