Seasons 3 and 4 were the BEST seasons this show has ever seen. Choreographers were creating amazing pieces and it wasn't "trick after stunt after trick" it was PURE story telling because they were trying to showcase great, young dancers.
We used to have a dvd of these dances when I was a kid. I remember being so crazy about it and now the kid in me can't help but feel nostalgia when I saw this again after many years. ❤
I just realized that this was their FIRST performance as a couple on the show. Week 1 performance. And yet, they had already achieved such perfection that the judges wanted to see it again. I just can't believe how beautiful they are, and how much they seem to blend into one. So you think of them not as Katee and Joshua, but as a couple. Separating them during the show was a CRIME!!
It was their first performance. Chelsea Hightower was also quite good that night. Josh and Katee together were great, though I thought Katee was amazing with all of her partners.
once they get to the top 10 they switch up the partners and have contestants randomly pick a name from a hat every week from top 10 to top 6. Besides it would be boring if they had the same partnerships all season long. Joshua & Katee were a good partnership but Joshua had great routines with Courtney & Chelsie and Katee had great routines with Twitch & Will. Joshua/Chelsie Argentine Tango, Joshua/Courtney Rumba, Will/Katee Pas De Deux, and Twitch/Katee contemporary were all really good numbers.
one of the best hip hop numbers in SYTYCD history by far! They both killed it and NappyTabs’s choreography was incredible. I wish that Katee & Joshua did a hard hitting hip hop on the show though since Katee only danced hip hop once during her run on the show and she got contemporary, jazz & Broadway a lot - all in her comfort zone.
@@wallflower7000 I take that back. I started watching Season 5, but didn't finish it. The fans voted off one of the strongest dancers and I was good after that. I did tune in for Jeanine's awesome solo that enabled her to be the winner in the end. I haven't watched the series since.
Katee was one of my favorites from season 4 but she got her style a lot even though she’s danced hip hop, ballroom, and Bollywood it felt like she wasn’t challenged as much as everybody else because she got contemporary, broadway & jazz a lot. I wish we could’ve seen her do a hard hitting hip hop to show her versatility & plus she only got hip hop once which was the top 20 week

Is this a rehearsal?or s remake? As far as I can recalled, during the actual performance Katee had comb headband for her hair. While this one Katee's hair looked wavy and shorter. Oh well. Just curious. Still an awesome performance. Epic movement especially during the part 'hard for me to breath'. Urgh...dramatic..😘
This was one of the "judges' favorite dances" picks that was re-performed on the S4 season finale. So Katee and Joshua introduced their partnership on the show in week 1 with "No Air" and ended it with this in the finale.

Season 4 was fantastic. Joshua is an incredibly strong dancer, and Katee was utterly adorable. Sure wish the show would come back. and RIP Twitch.
