But Ironically I only live one hour from Southern Door, and have been spoiled by its magic and beauty since I was a child, over 60 years ago). My parents owned a cottage on Sand Bay since the late 60's,.. so much has changed and commercialized, but it is SO refreshing and WONDERFUL to see all of your amazing outdoor footage,...in the quiet countryside away from the bustling tourists,🤫. Kudos for using Scharffenberger chocolate! I live in Oakland, CA and I used to go down the street to visit the factory when it was still there. I dreaded it when Hershey's bought out Scharfenberger. but they still produce this wonderful chocolate still.

I saw the tea cup too. This china set was my grandparents which I inherited. I remember back in the 70's, when I was a kid ( yep, that old) eating off of those plates when I'd ride my bike over to their house.

This video brought back memories of when I was first learning French at a British boarding school and I would read about chocolat chaud ;). Also, reminded me of when I went on a business trip to Paris from London and after my meeting there I rollerbladed down the Champs Elysée! It was fabulous!

You are quite right. The difference between run of the mill grocery storeish, usually domestic, chocolate & the really good expensive stuff is a night and day situation. I often add a few tablespoons of Droste's Baking Dark Chocolate while cooking my morning's steel cut oatmeal to kind of Coco Wheats it up. A tasty change of pace that delivers a nice health benefit too.
