Do you play motivs here from the Hindemith cello sonata? Any particular piece from Bartòk? How wonderful idea to melt together these elements with Voyage, the jazz tune by Herby H. Nobody in the Earth did that before on the cello, I guess, 😂 also I hear actually for the first time, that someone uses Ableton and Loops not as an weird attraction, but just as little as needed... always in service of art. Exactly! I think that’s the best way to approach effects and electronics. On this piece I didn’t want anything that wasn’t organic sounding… nothing digital
@@MeganShung Well I didn't really compose any of it... I've ben studying this tune and allot. of Hindemith recently ... as well as listening to pianists so I wanted to sound more like a piano...
