0:36.... "These shows have been attended by literally dozens of people." ... cue the rimshot! haha I love anything with math in the title, so this video gets a huge thumbs up from me :)
So thrilled you got the chance to listen to it Andrea. This was a very unique project for me and I think probably for any string player and a Home really honored
Thanks man I usually don’t talk about the music, but for me it usually takes about the same level of love thoughtfulness and effort to figure out how to improvise and over sophisticated jazz changes with an acoustic or doing something like this. I know there’s very few or maybe no one out there right now who would be able to go down that rabbit hole with me on stuff like this but it’s a treatise for the future
Appreciate that man…. We string players have allot of catching up to do as playing our instruments by themselves pose unique challenges. This is more of a treatise for the future
What a wealth of information. You are offering so much knowledge: A huge variety of techniques for the creative Cellist to use ,performing and composing on the fly.!!! I really respect the amount of work and time gone into all of this.
Thanks Jane call mom those kind words mean a lot coming from such a talented colleague. As I said at the beginning of the video I usually really don’t like talking about what I’m doing and would rather people just enjoy the music, but as this was related to the seminar I thought just this once I would share in hopes that it might inspire other musicians.
Thanks Jordan, Usually never talk about my Music as I said, but really any of the videos I put out require this amount of thought and effort weather explain the changes of Countdown or the looping and sound design elements here. I know they’ll be even very few cell us or violin as they will find the second part of this video helpful but it’s more of a treat is for the future when I imagine Betty more players will understand be attempting stuff like this
