- I decided to take a break from the Volvo A40D this week so I looked at the New Holland T8.390 instead. In this video I take the Siku New Holland T8.390 model apart to see whether we'll be able to fit N20 motors into the tractor and where we're going to mount our servos.

i am realy looking forward to this build because i plan to build it my self, but i don't have a controler yet. what kind of controler do you recommend for a biginnig programmer
If you're trying to build the model the same way as me with Arduinos I recommend this basic controller rctractorguy.com/controllers/basic-rc-controller. The added benefit is I'll be including my code for this tractor in the libraries when I'm done so you'd in theory just have to upload the code and the tractor should work.

For the steering I find putting the gear head on a servo gets you the best steering angle
How do you usually connect the gear to the servo, that is the part I generally struggle with.

I get a little steel gear . And drill the hole out to the servo and put it With glue . Make sure it a good tight fit .
Or you can use the parts of the steering that are inside the Siku tractor. . Cut the gear off the steering and drill a hole in it and. Stick it on to the servo

Where fid you get those n 20s I didn't know they came with that gear box configuration? Are the connected or seperate?

any chance you can show us how to remove the rear wheels from the shaft, I'm stuck on mine and dont want to bend it

Hi Have you consider adding 3d printed differential to your models? Recently I've discovered YT channel @Mr.Crankyface a vidoe blog of building 3D printed RC truck.
That's pretty cool but I'm not sure I'd be able to print a differential small enough, those truck look like 1:10 scale I think.

How much rpm motors do you use for driving by this tractor
I think the last motors I ordered were around 70rpm, I think that will make it quite quick but it wont have as much pulling power as the JD8360RT.
