Is ur name Lil John, by chance?
@@sabbymacaroni yes and I've worked my entire life to save for this 1 square foot apartment.
I might be crazy but I could 100% live like this.
I could for a bit! I feel like a long term vacation rental perfect. Like a sublet for a few months to a year or so.
Same, I'm not good at dealing with open spaces, so I'm not claustrophobic at all. That house definitely suits me because I like being in an enclosed space. The only problem (that can't be avoided) is the top level for the bedding, which is typical for houses like this. Imagine walking home exhausted after work and having to climb stairs just to lie down on your bed, I'd rather set up a futon downstairs.
Honestly, I really want to live in a place like that.
Same until you accidentally hurt yourself one day and suddenly you can't access half your house 😂
Ppl in the comments tripping. This is better than a lot of apartments, it’s not something you have to “settle” for

I mean imagine taking things up and down that long staircase and a ladder to get to my bedroom. I'm not even in my 20's but that house would take me out.
As someone in my 20 this would be perfect and it's cheap enough that I'd be able to pay rent AND eat food
Once I moved to a 250square mts house I Lost all appreciation for tiny spaces. Idk if it's age or experiences, but before that I was accustomed to living a box room. I wouldnt mind something smaller for the Nice thing of living in Tokyo, but tbh, I better love a 80 square mts (2.5 ceiling height) apartment for 160 usd monthly. Not moving to Japan until I can afford a decent house. Living in small places makes You want to go out of your house all day.
Its bigger than my studio apartment. That 2nd floor is great.

Seems pretty decent for a single person who doesn't need or desires a lot of room. The only thing I don't like is that the shower is out in the open with a balcony door but could probably be fixed with some curtains and shades. Gotta see what rent costs in order to lock it in.
Did you notice that no one can see in and it’s not a house you live in with your mother is it…
@@ZackHammer04You literally have to cross the shower to access the balcony. Shower will inevitably be constantly dirty with outside dirt from people passing by. Not a good design.

Can someone explain, please?
In Tokyo there’s not a lot of premium space for apartments so they usually end up with TINY ass studios, like smaller than NYC. So from seeing how thin the building was, I am extremely impressed and surprised at how much space you actually have and how functional it all is, absolutely 10/10 working with what you have at it’s finest,
It only looks that way because it is empty. Try to imagine putting anything in there and you will see how unconvenient it is
not to mention a lot of the space is actually very underutilized and doesn't make sense. For example, the lack of cabinets, the shower being the balcony exit, the TV on the wrong side, a lot of it just doesn't make sense.
how much space do you have when its not empty though? imagine a sofa or trying to own clothes. you couldn't really own... anything lol
