@Next22Chapter I've always been curious how setting these matchups goes down? Does each side put two players forward without knowing the comp? If they know their opponents, which side gets to pick the matchups? Or is this more of a collaborative with the coaches, Scotty, Friga, etc?
I just wonder because Eli is like the worst possible matchup for a limited moving Matt lol. Matt would have been perfect against Sid & DaeDae v Eli. I know we already saw it but those matchups would nake the most competitive game.

One thing that kills me about Daedae is that he be making it hard for himself. I understand you’re tired and wanna finish the game but the W is more important. Push thru and finish. That’s what Beasley was telling him. But all in all, this was a great game. A 50 ball is crazy. History was made today on TNC. Sidney did his thing too. If he works on his conditioning, he’ll be unstoppable because he’s honestly the only person I’ve seen on TNC that actually uses his speed to get buckets. Dude is fast af

Look at the %, sydney played like shit. Honest is honest, i was on his side the whole game but he airballed a game winner and his defense is dog shit. It was 30-9. All he has to do was score 30. The fact that is was this close when daedae had to score 50 is crazy.
Starting with a 21 point advantage is a blessing and a curse. Daedae knew he had a long way to 50 points, but had a great corner which gave him the will to go all the way. When Syd basically gave Daedae 10 points without contesting, it gave Daedae confidence in his ability and the hope to make 50 now became a reality for him. If Syd wanted to win, he should have broken Daedaes spirit from the start by playing all out physical and even fouling him just to give daedae a tough time making those 50 points seem even further away, because the only way daedae was gone win is if he believed in himself 120%. Syd got way to comfy, which allowed daedae to gain momentum. Syd lost and the 21 points was nothing but a curse, cus that 50 is gonna haunt him for the rest of TNC history !!!!!!!!
True Syd defensively and energy wise was horrible from the start. Eli give him a route to an easy win . And Syd made it harder for himself but easier for his opponent.
Sid is not in that kinda shape to guard DaeDae up close for a whole game and still score on him and he knew that, that's why he was playing guarding the drive more than the shot.
DaeDae is in phenomenal shape, cause scoring 50 and keeping that intense energy on defense, there's not a lot of players in TNC that have this type of tenacity and conditioning, and for a Debut I think Sid did well...
