MY SUGGESTION IDEA FOR STORY THAT’S ABOUT A VARIANT OF JOKER WHO HAS A NIECE: I imagine in a different realm, before a struggling worker became The-Joker, he was a good guy, who has a younger sister, and a uncle to his niece. A few years before he became The-Joker, he was visited by his sister & her daughter, and he had noticed that his sister was depressed about something. It wasn’t until a few months later, that he had discovered that she is a widow, and had recently developed bone cancer. His sister says she is worried about her daughter, she is trying to decide who should raise her daughter, if a cure isn’t found for her bone cancer. His sister then says she has finally came down to three individuals, the first is him, the second is her best friend, and the third is one of their cousins. Then his sister had noticed, that he doesn’t have enough money, nor a big enough home, to raise her daughter, and so then her best option is to have her best friend to raise her daughter. Now six years later, the struggling nice guy, has become half insane, changed his name to The-Joker, and his niece is 13years old now. The name of Joker’s niece is (Alexis Kaye Grey) her former last-name was DAY, but when she was adopted by his sister’s friend it changed to GREY. Now a few months later after the death of The-Joker, his niece decided to come to Gotham City, she is a criminal now, and her villain name is PunchLine. ALEXIS has become just like her uncle, that is being half insane, she has her own loyal sidekick, and she has become very wealthy. The reason why she became a criminal, is because how she was treated in HighSchool, and it got worst in college. Before she graduated from college, she found out her uncle (Jack Oswald White) became The-Joker, and that The-Joker has died in a fight against Batman. The successor of (Bruce Wayne) Batman, is (Tim Drake) aka (TIM DRAKE WAYNE) & he has been fighting against villains as the new Batman, since Bruce had died of a heart-attack. His former BatFamily members are each somewhere else, Richard “Dick” Greyson is married now, and has kids of his own. Jason Todd is still a BountyHunter, but he lives his life by a moral-code, and he does his work the same way. And (Damian Wayne) he has eliminated almost all the members of the Assassins Society, some of the members that were left alive are completely loyal to him, and he has created his own masked heroes group.
I like that noah designed batman with the same feature as their comic or movie counterpart. Like when batman knocked down redhood to the acid, his design is similiar with batman from the killing joke. In harley queen story, he took the BTAS design. In the death of the family he took the new 52 design.
I think this would have benefited from a bit more detail e.g. you mentioned that the Bronze Age restored the darker elements of the character again, but you didn't mention how. You could have referred to O'Neill/Adams work e.g. The Joker's Five Way Revenge, introducing Arkham Asylum and the idea that The Joker is insane (although he is referred to as a maniac in his first appearance), and Rogers/Englehart too.
I think one of my favourite Joker moments is during the Joker War Saga, where after taking over Wayne Enterprises, he learned that Barbara was Batgirl. He then confronted her in her apartment, disabling the spinal implant that allowed her to walk before taking it over, almost forcing her to jump off of the building before she grabs a pipe and fucking breaks the implant, hitting Joker with it as well before the building explodes (Joker rigged it to blow) with Joker muttering “You were my favourite Robin”
When I was in 6th grade one of my locker/Pokemon buddy dressed up as The Joker for the Halloween dance the green dye took forever to take off by the time the dye came off quarantine started
