Fun fact, yes man was created so the player always has a way to finish the main questline. You can murder every major faction, effectively locking you out of an ending otherwise. if it wasn't for yes man, who is unkillable because he gets uploaded to a new securitron, making him immortal but in a way that makes sense.
It's weird, they could've just had a way to trigger the dam fight. Or make killing every major faction leader the trigger. It have the only one you don't kill take over the dam, and clearing them becomes the new final quest. Not that I'm complaining. It's just weird how seamless FO1&2 are if you decide to go murder hobo in the entire wasteland. For 1, killing the master and general are the only real clear conditions. And for 2, and can get fuel by killing San Fransisco and invading the throne room. The nav data is in the Enclave base, and taking over the Tanker is always optional.
@@handgun559I think it's because Yes Man is not *just* the failsafe, he also is part of the independent New Vegas ending. If that was his only purpose, then, it's as you said, it wouldn't be needed

Allies have green lines around them when you are in attack mode. And if you hold down the yellow cursor on npcs with LMB you get a context menu that allows you to command npcs to move from their current hex.
I think in all these games where the NPCs tell you "a frontal assault would be suicide," the response should be showing them your human kill count on your pipboy. Same as when raiders try to mug you or various mercenaries accost you. Not only will this probably make them think you are some kind of psychopath. 1000+ kills, but the fact you have a device that tallies this information would probably disturb them enough to just allow you to go on your way.

I always like watching the fallout 3 and nv nightmare videos so seeing a compilation is great!
I was like... isnt this the same as before. Then i saw it was 3 hours long.... MMMM time to get some popcorn.
All this and still no actual review of Fallout 4. Fallout VR sure, but no base game review. Sad.
All your videos bring me so much comfort your so talented
Very happy to see there is a way to VR in FO:NV, someday years from now when I actually have time I’ll revisit this vid to get it right
Good lord, a 3.5 hour compilation of awesome, eh? Hold tight, let me get the popcorn popping.
thank you for this dude. i can now finally watch the complete trilogy in one
Survival is shit? buddy, I'd come set you straight, but I'm over encumbered with the best food in the game, my beloved blood sausages!
I'd show you what for if not for my broken leg, dehydration, starvation, bleeding, infection, lyme disease, kuru, freezing and over encumbered because I need all 5 of my guns in case I find any ammo and it matches one of them. God I love dayz
Perfect, I can rewatch them all together now 👌
yes finally a full binge video so i can watch all of them in one go
Allies have green lines around them when you are in attack mode. And if you hold down the yellow cursor on npcs with LMB you get a context menu that allows you to command npcs to move from their current hex.
These videos really give me the urge to play through these games again... except for that last one
The final frontier has been conquered! I’m so impressed, god I hope this channel continues to deliver!
FInally! It's out!
I was waiting for the remaster so my girlfriend and I could watch them together!
Perfect timing Mat !
This is such an awesome video. The work you've done over the years really shows. Perfection.
