Tree Planting Initiative with Ellyanne Chlystun-Githae Wanjiku.

Towards the end of January, we had the honour of collaborating with the Forestry Commission Zimbabwe and Ellyanne Chlystun-Githae Wanjiku, Africa's Youngest Climate Champion at just 13 years old, hailing from Kenya. Together, we embarked on a tree planting initiative at Ringa Primary School in the Beatrice district of Zimbabwe where over 50 trees were planted, symbolising our commitment to environmental conservation.
Ellyanne has been instrumental in addressing the adverse effects of climate change on vulnerable communities, having already planted over 1.3 million trees.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Forestry Commission Zimbabwe for their generous donation of trees, and to Ellyanne Chlystun-Githae Wanjiku for educating the Ringa school community on the importance of their involvement in combating climate change. It was truly a remarkable day filled with meaningful impact.
