The "Terrible Intro" sounds like something you'd hear on a radio in Half Life.

Great video. I am a composer working with emulating train horns in a piano composition. Thanks for the inspiration.
I did notice a few verbal-physical disagreements with the notes you said versus the notes you were playing, but I trusted your ear and the sound over your verbal note naming.

Perhaps including 7ths and augmented 5ths in a regular chord could get that effect

Yup. See 2:35, for example. It's a Dom chord, not minor.

The K5LLA is easily the coolest ... a G# 7#9 chord (I believe). It rocks & rolls! Figured it out on a pedal steel guitar. Haha!

A lot of the notes said are incorrect on keyboard

You can’t play these in correct temperament without a special keyboard which is very important for the design and ability to propagate with a dissident heterodyne beat frequency that carries across terrain. For example the wolf interval. If you had a harpsichord you could make adjustments for the

There were quite a few places where you said "A sharp" and played either A flat or A natural.

Back in the 80s I heard a minor chord train horn but only rarely. It was using the tracks along the south side of the Schuylkill River by Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. I always wondered what that was. Any ideas?

You're not playing the notes you say you're playing. e.g. 2:35 you say "E-flat, F#, B-flat", which would be an E-flat minor chord (spelled wrong). But you are clearly playing an E-natural, making this an F# dominant chord.

Where did find the list for all of these?

    • @TrainTrackTrav

Just knowledge of the subject and research on the web. There are web sites that list horn chords. Check out Ed K's site, he has some good stuff about horns there.
