I'm in Kansas so we have plenty of gravel, hills, and good pubs, but we are severely lacking in the lush forest department.

Love a good root beer. Actually just had one (at a draft house where my cycling buddies were drinking beers) during a 76 mile ride on Friday.

Having lived in Boston quite a long time I laughed out loud at seeing Si in DD

John McLeod don’t worry. He’s got a .38 tucked in his waistband, a .45 in the mid console, and shotgun concealed behind the seats... Nah, he’s from New England, where he’s more likely to have concealed CBD oil and pot brownies than carry a firearm (which only comes out in fall for hunting season to get ethically sourced organic meat!)

Si/Jeremy, if you get the chance you should come to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. You can do a ride here and hit all of our 29 covered bridges within the county.

My home state on my home roads! It's a bit strange to see Shelburne Falls and Colrain mentioned on GCN. I spend part of every summer in Montague. Incredible riding, incredible views, good people, good coffee, good beer. One small nit: the Western Mass soundtrack is Dinosaur Jr, acoustic folk and Polish polka, not blues, harmonicas and slide guitars. Western Mass is a few thousand miles from Texas.
One of the best travelogues I've ever seen, via any channel or format. Massachusetts looks beautiful. Note to TV producers - watching people who get on and have a joint love is entertaining; there doesn't have to be any conflict or false jeopardy.
Si and Jeremy are fantastic together. I realize that geography poses a bit of an issue, but I would like to see more from this pair. Both of their ride videos are really spectacular and maybe this could be an idea for a series.
This is such a fantastic ride. I live in NYC which isnt that far from MA and I would love to explore it. I was'nt so sure about Jeremy Powers joining the GCN family before but he's growing on me now. A tremendous personality. Thanks GCN for a representation on this side of the Atlantic.

I watched this after back from work, and done some bike maintenance. My body quite tired, but it is paid after watching this. It is so relaxing. I am ready to sleep now...
All of the older buildings and cute little shops that the USA embraces in small town living. I would love to go cycling there.
Considering Si was trying Dunkin donuts, when you come to Canada, you have to compare with Tim hortons!
a few weeks back I did the GFNY and was staggered that only 50 miles from the middle of manhattan you can stand on bear mountain Tain and just see rolling hills forests and lovely countryside have to admit my preconceptions about the Staes took a big hit that day
Brilliant vid guys, idilic locale. I doubled the enjoyment by watching the UK ride that preceded this USA one, both excellent!! That Jeremy chap is a jolly good bloke! And as for the bridge of flowers, puts the planned London Garden bridge in the shade, it was beautiful!! I’d even warmed up with the epic Poland ride, some top top content from you lot (as ever!!), keep it up!! 👍👍👍😀

While I’ve loved all of GCN’s content for years, I’m very excited for some New England based videos where I might be able to get out and ride those routes myself!
Friends and I did this ride this past weekend....It was absolutely terrific! Thanks Jeremy for mapping it out and posting it. We plan on doing it again in the fall when the area is in full color of the fall. Thanks again!

Welcome, Jeremy. As a fellow New Englander, I am very pleased to see our piece of the world highlighted on GCN. Admittedly, it's not the Alps or the Pyrenees but has its own charm. I've been riding the roads and passes throughout the White Mountains in preparation for the Haute Route Pyrenees this August and count myself lucky to have this beautiful and challenging area right outside my door.
J-Pow is so cool, loved him on the GCN Cyclo-Cross coverage and doing these epic ride video's, enjoyed this one immensely.

Man, I recognize huge chicks of this from the D2R2, and there are some amazing roads you guys hit. Green River Road might be one of my favorite roads I've ever ridden, dirt or paved, and Patten late in a ride is the sort of climb that just makes your legs hurt to think about. As I sit here the week before the D2R2 should have been run, it's just awesome to see uyou guys tearing it up in a part of the country I always look forward to riding. One of my favorite places to ride - thanks for filming this!

Absolutely, The BEST 18 mins. on GCN. I live in Easthampton, ride that area a lot, but no gravel (don't want to scratch my bikes). JP, you should have introduced Si, to the Rootbeer Float. This part of Mass. is very popular for cycling. Many clubs. As a senior, I belong to the Cyclonauts, ride 4-5 days a week. Well again, thanks JP , for introducing Si to New England, hope he returns. KB.

the usa is so damn huge. It's crazy how many different climates and zones there are. Riding bikes through the countryside anywhere can truly be the best way to see things.
Just finished this route, amazing! That climb right out of Shelburne Falls killed me. But it was worth it. Definitely doing this again. I’ve cycled the first third of this along the Green River a bunch of times but never continued further west into Colrain. Thanks for putting this together! Mesa Verde burrito back in Greenfield was the perfect ending! Great day today

Billy Mitchell's grandfather kept his mail box inside the covered bridge in Green Village, as did all of the residents in the 1940s.
Jacksonville Stagecoach Rd is a Cat 3 climb
Why not do the full D2R2? It utilizes the same roads.
