Hey mate, awesome video, have watched it atleast 10 times haha When I try this, as I let out to full extension it sends me over into a front flip- kind of like going over the handle bars of a bike. Any ideas I can do it fine off a kicker at cable but am struggling behind boat. Cheers!

The biggest struggle I have with this trick is spinning on to my back in the air. I’m still holding the rope but the front of the board goes high and then spins me onto my back. Is this a weight distribution thing or something else?
i think you're probably freaking out and looking over your front shoulder forcing you into like a layed out half backroll. I have seeen it before, maybe try looking down the rope or at the boat
hahaha I have a solid argument for you. your head is bigger with a helmet on, therefore your head stops quicker when it hits the water.... therefore it hurts your head a lot more. also a helmet has the bucket effect as well. good for obstacles though, I always wear one when hitting rails. I guess if you are really flexible, your board could hit your head.

@@Eugene.mamaev @JB Oneil While I am not quite as good as JB, I do like to go big which has lead to a handful of concussions. I wore a helmet for 5-6 years after and it makes a big difference. Definitely softens the impact and also helps prevent whiplash. But the last two years I have gone back to not wearing one because of the feeling of freedom, and I don't feel the accomplishment wearing a bunch of protective gear. Plus it looks dumb with a helmet, and a lot of wakeboarding is aesthetic.
