thanks for featuring the Teutonia Peak Trail, i visited in 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed the accessible climb up the rocks and the mile-long view and also the view of the Cima Dome
Jack & Colton, seeing these episodes now on TH-cam reminds me of all those Saturday AMs when I'd watch you on TV. What mystifies me is how you could get an award for programming excellence, and be rewarded just a year or so later by cancellation. How can network execs think like that? I hope there's some other network that will pick up Rock the Park, and let you continue where you left off. So many more parks to visit.
Was in my gym when you guys came on, I was so caught out watching you both. The live in England and when I got home I subscribed to your channels and will be watching very closely. Sue Chlad
Lot's of cool stuff in this video. I'd like to see the night sky in a Bortle 1 dark zone like that. Is it still an eruption if it's underground? I had it in my head that only the spots where the liquid lava is exposed to the atmosphere and freezes were the eruption. Until I watched the development of the litli-hrutur volcano in Iceland this year I had no idea how the lava fields worked, I thought it all spilled out the top of the cone like a science fair model. NOOOOOPE. GutnTog made regular updates on his channel and I just happened to stumble across it a few days after it started. You can watch the whole thing from start to finish and see how they work for yourself. Very neat!
if you go drive slowly and keep your eyes on the road: 3 out of 4 tortoise i saw were along the road. also coyotes everywhere, other animals, and gravel or potholes that can throw you...

Back in the 80's and 90's I saw quite a few birds out there while camping there in the Fall.

We look forward to Mojave Nat. Preserve either this year or next. It seems somewhat like Joshua Tree Nat. Park, except more remote and rugged.
exactly like that
Patroling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
No time to check the dunes? or Amboy Crater?
Does anyone know which episode the drone flight at 0:50 is from?
