at 6:13 the hardware is already rusting. See the mounting screws for the gunwale storage box, they're orange. Can't stand it when boat makers use cheap Chinese screws to save a buck. If they're skimping on that, you know they're skimping on the real expensive stuff.
Great looking boat, but 26’ with no optional head makes it tough for a family boat, it’s just too easy to have it and not need verses going out the banks and getting stuck with no options.
My question is for all the different brands & styles of boats you guys have been on & around what is your top 10 in order and why ... for quality, reliability, and price point
OK I subscribed! U guys actually reviewed this BOAT. Gald that you did because you have so much experience with the Costa 264 people will love this and listen to you. Thank you MUCH!
You could get a 2 year old, well maintained Molokai 28 for less than this and even though it's only 2' longer, it's twice the boat, imo! Plus it's got a head.
Been shopping for a power cat, and yes wildcats are awesome looking in person and handle offshore, but also do twin vee at a significant price difference . sure world cat uses Yamaha bs twin vee uses Suzuki . Both have nice digital motors with lots of function.. but twin vee is offering a 11 year hull warranty and 7 years on the motors.
Dude I almost shit when I saw that Joe Biden price 😂 wtfffff yeahhhhh I'd rather just go to the beach w my balls not tucked in my chest worried if something breaks 😂 my father inlaw just spent 11k on his 8yr old 28' meticulous maintenance regal inboard motor! But some jerk off will pay it! And that fucks it up for the reg guy who wants a weekend boat to enjoy! 😢
I'm going to guesstimate the price to manufacture this boat is around 130k. That includes labor, composite materials, equipment and power plants. SeaCat probably sells them for around180k to the dealers who then tack on another 20-40k in useless upcharges.
its not 1/2 the cost..its 250k vs 375k. The quality is evident from the walk through and materials used vs the yacht type quality finish on the Costa 263 vs the Sea Cat. We just saw cheaper screws rusting, nothing is recessed all add on doors, no recessed speakers...stuff like that and if I got a chance to get on the boat I could find more. Nothing wrong with the Sea Cat for the price..Its a good value, finished off nice enough and appears they got a lot of the kinks worked out. @@fishonkayakadventure
Why don't people starting boat building companies realize that there are hundreds of competitors with the name "Sea" and they should pick something different to stand out?
I think they haven’t figured out how to make the foils work at the variety of speeds that this can go (ie can’t make them work at high speeds and medium speeds).
Very nice boat but about 75K overpriced for the normal boat shopper. I know some people here love a screaming deal of 20K for a boat but reality is this should cost around $120k not $250.
only problem with these boats is drifting or anchored they really roll. Takes time to get use to it, unfortunately new people don't fair well with it...i had a 27 WorldCat..
wow that thing rocks at drift big time.@4:23
72mph is crazy. absolutely beautiful and very capable boat. hope i can get in one eventually

I noticed that too, but I thought maybe it was just the angle and the sun was shining on it.

bring a bucket
This thing is awesome, but a Costa 264 or Freeman 28 is still the dream for me!
those are also twice the price and a multi year wait time. seacat is more attainable for the average family.
Really nice vessel.freeman is a master piece of a boat from design to ride in the rough . I own one.and yes it's fkn expensive.
@@user-zd6kg6ks5i yo take me out for a ride 😭
A 2022 well maintained, low hours Molokai 28 is about the same price and is twice the boat, imo! Plus you don't have to wait 1.5 - 2 years.

How does it compare to a Costa 264? It’s considerably less expensive.
Nice to see the batteries NOT buried down in the Bilge

Really like this boat, wish they made a recreation version since we don't fish. Maybe in the future.
250k boat that should cost 170k😂

Yeppp, that’s why I just ordered a Cape Horn 27XS all white non powder coated top. $190k super solid boats and very fishy. Can’t go wrong with
@@j.p.5954 well you'd know what a jerk off is by simply looking in the mirror. LOL 🤡 🤡
$165-175k was exactly my guess too. This is insanity!
Let's go brandon!

Gracias Alan, really nice cat!!!
What’s the starting price more or less?
I've been waiting for someone to do a real video on a sea cat. Somehow got unsubscribed. But it looks good

Did they ever fix the hull seperation problem?
wait what? I need to look that up
Like to see a comparison to Costa
this is half the price. do you compare Ferrari with Chevy?

Console needs a head option. I would ditch the seat in front of the console or make it smaller for a bigger console so you can put in a head.
Why don't people starting boat building companies realize that there are hundreds of competitors with the name "Sea" and they should pick something different to stand out?
There is no way this boat can be $220k…… not a single buyer in the Florida market will fall for this.
and no trolling motor or wench-less.
I'm still waiting to see this in rough seas like 3-4 footers.
well it would be nice to see it in actual 2 foot seas instead of simple afternoon chop in the bay.
Oh now 26' is small. Gotcha
They won’t put pricing
How about The Yamaha's outboard motor.
Nice hull but too low I'm the stern.
For a 26ft boat, the rear deck space is terrible. Why make the transom so wide? Its eating up all the floor space.
The space up front is also abysmal. All taken up by the seats and lockers.
depo brape?
Which engine did u like better?
If your not first...your last
is there a sport / luxury version? pad bottom . near 80mph. over the hub props! ha. free speed .
I want to look into foil cat cell how do I sign by somebody? Who knows how to make a foil work

Velcro for the cushions? That is terrible

I use a trolling motor to point the bow into the wind. It helps a lot to reduce the side to side rolls.
Is that 2mpg per engine or combined?
That’s combined. Twin 300’s aren’t getting 4mpg.
Sharp
The only time that Seacat will ever see 72 mph is on the interstate.
With twin 400 I’m sure it can
Can one buy it without a T-top? I prefer a bimini that is removable in the winter months. Can one buy it with Yamaha 250SHO power?
very bad engine stays in the water after you lift it up :(
8’6” beam is narrow
No longer sponsored by Costa?
We like to show all the boats on the markets. Everybody likes something different.
Costa probably realized they can’t make enough of them to need to worry about marketing for awhile!
$250,000. And twin 300's is gross overkill for power for a 26 ft cat.
price guess $217000
120 gal of fuel? Really????
should be 200 gallons
Are their hulls still made in China?
Depending on how it's fit, 150k to 170k
2 miles per gallon doing 50mph? oh boy that sounds like something I need. if my wife lets me raid her shoe fund.
It’s a sweet boat but too much money for the average Joe
28.000
nope...the Blue Cat takes the top prize
Harris Carol Harris Charles Clark Steven
those are not 2 foot waves bro. lol for fucks sake, they are barely 1 foot
Nice but overpriced
$229,000
Classic the Joe Biden price? So true unfortunately Trump 2024.
Biden has nothing to do with prices.
