@@TimScottDT I'm 33. I know what you mean on it'd hard to wait, but I spent most of them years without the lord so I just remind myself patience. I'm also not going to settle just for the sake of being with someone. This time I want it to be the real deal my forever person. The wait will be worth it.

A rare jewel in this day and age. I always loved taking care of the home and my son. No one even wants to anymore, which is the problem of our society. No family structure at all.

🥰 My husband and I do things like that often. We also have a thing people might consider dumb. We bought a pack of those mice that cats play with and we are always hiding them inside of things...like a shirt pocket, pants pocket....next to the last piece of cheese cake in the cheese cake pan. My husband has a canvas bag that he carries his wallet in it and when he's headed out to the store I'll stick a mouse inside it also.
Four years ago I was in intensive care for 8 days due to a blood clot in my leg. My husband would bring me things from home, like fresh day dresses a book or whatever I needed. I'd always find a mouse in the fold of my clothing etc. I had one sitting on the bed table when one of my doctors walked in he asked what it was. We looked at each other and started laughing. When my husband told him that it was just an affectionate tradition for us he thought it was a great idea and said he would start that at home as well. I often find them at the bottom of the empty cookie jar!!!! LOL My husband and I are in our late 60's and we are very very very happily married. Not a day goes by that we don't laugh together multiple times and we tease and play in a loving way. Someone might think we are two big kids but there is nothing wrong with that as long as you bear your responsibilities in life also.

My husband and I do a clothes pin with little sayings on them. Never know where you're going to find one and when you do it just puts a smile on your face and warms the heart. The Good Lord knew what he was doing. Granted it took a few years to finally find each other but we had lessons to learn first. ❣️

Far Northeast Texas woman with a little dust on the "bottle", listened to every word. Learned some time, long time ago, if you take care of your man, the good one takes care of you. Sometimes, I just don't feel up to cooking, I'm paralyzed, there are bad days every now and then. He jumps in his truck and heads to town. In fact he is going to pick up pizza right now. We live too far out for delivery...
The treasures that come out of this man’s mouth. I wait to see these talks he gives. Never had a dad. Phil is the closest thing I’ll ever get to that.

I am 63, met my husband 11 years ago. We were married 2 years ago, I was the stubborn one, he was the persistent one. Good man, retired Air Force, takes good care of me and we laugh often, tell each other of our Love every day. When he travels, we are almost always on the phone!

You know God works in mysterious ways, I watched this video yesterday and the day before and late last night my husband brought in the mail and I forgot all about getting from the daily bread a book on proverbs , isn't that beautiful

So MANY great people aren't on TV anymore - because of censorship but T.V. is mostly garbage. I'm glad we can find them elsewhere. Paula Deen for example - her YT channel is much more real & better than when it was on Food Network that tried to ruin her life based on some old stupid accusation!

That's a coincidence. My favorite chapter in Proverbs is 31! I've always thought it was called 'The Virtuous Woman of Proverbs' 😊 I read it frequently, and try to live it daily for my husband!

That's so sweet!! I leave notes for my hubby all the time!!!! It's the little things!!! We have been married 21 years!!! Been together 25... I was 14 and he was 19. God is so good!!! All the time!!! I love my husband!! A marriage only works when God is in the center of it all!!!

Well Phil, I am a woman who has tried to live up to Proverbs 31. It is not always easy but the benefits I get in return far surpass any obstacle I encounter. My husband (Jack) and I have watched every episode of Duck Dynasty and loved it. I also am able to catch your radio show from time to time. Your lesson on being a proverbs 31 wife was very very well done. When a woman will fall in line with the word of God she will find much freedom and security. I also have purchased some land with a little house on it and the experience was quite nice. We have always tried to help the poor, especially the homeless in our area. Using food cards instead of money is such a great idea. I wish I had thought of it. It is hard to know when you are helping someone with money if you could possibly be enabling a bad habit. This takes away all temptation and they are sure to get a hot meal. God bless you Phil and thank you for sharing what God has laid on your heart.

I woke up and I’m listening to you Phil!
I was a depressed woman and struggling wife when the idea came to look in the Bible to see what a woman should be doing with her life. It was hard to swallow that I was supposed to be my husband's helpmate and submissive to him, instead of trying to run the show myself. I decided to try it, genuinely, for 30 days to see what would happen. The change in our home and lives was staggering. We are the happiest we've ever been, and we're not turning back. God knows how it's supposed to be.

Not being raised in church nor taught how to be a wife, I was blessed to marry a man who was. His mother taught me, through example how to be a Proverbs 31 wife. With her example and from the instruction from several elders I was lead to Christ 30 years ago.
