    Looking good. Great growth for 6 months I’d say your supplements and medication will have helped, but you are a fast grower. I think your hairline is just about right. It’s better to be higher for natural results and going lower means a requirement for ALOT more grafts as these require a very dense pack. Usually strip method is optimum for a hairline drop.

    I’m your same age. I had two hair transplants . I was a Norwood 2.5 on the Norwood scale. Your hairline like how they did mine it looks good for our age. Your donor hair looks healed. And your hair looks way thicker then last month, more natural. Your regime is great. You should add biotin. Also I’m going to start using nizoral shampoo again on my 3rd month post op.

    Great results. The only thing that might discourage some folks who watch it is that your "ugly duckling"phase seemed pretty tame. Most guys look terrible at month 3(just the nature of the beast). The end result is the most important phase and your's seems to have been a great success.

    • @HairlineConfessions
      @HairlineConfessions  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can’t really tell because the hair is longer. Once I get it cut (which could be a while) I’ll be able to properly assess. I will keep going with it though for the time being. Got nothing to lose.

  • @Bogdanbmm
    @Bogdanbmm 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Looks great mate, glad for you ! A few key questions please:
    1) did you do some blood test before to see if your hair loss is stress or androgenic/hormones or something along those lines ?
    2) did you have to take Finesteride 6m-12months before the operation ? Some I heard they do that before the operation
    3) Minoxidyl: had to take it before the operation or only after ?
    4) Nizoral: was it recommended by the doctors from the clinic or ?
    Cheers !

    • @HairlineConfessions
      @HairlineConfessions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. No. I did have a blood test while I was out there but that’s to make sure you can have surgery.
      2. No, never took it before I had my transplant. But I wish I did try it to see if it made a difference. I take it now as recommended by the doctor.
      3. I tried it a few years ago but didn’t see any change so I stopped. Hadn’t used it for a couple of years before my transplant. I’m soon going to ease it out of my routine and stop completely at 12 months.
      4. No. They didn’t mention it at all. It’s just something my family have used for years as a specialist anti-dandruff shampoo. Nothing to do with hair loss.
      Hope that helps! 👍🏻

    • @HairlineConfessions
      @HairlineConfessions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t experienced any of the side effects you’ve probably read about. I got a rash on my chest soon after I started but that cleared up in no time. I’m pretty much on them for life now, although they say that they work best for men under 40, so I might just ease them out in about 15-20 years (I’m 31 now).

      Yeah mine was the same. Go back to my MONTH 3 video and you’ll see. Are you taking Finasteride? I think that’s a necessity for crown transplants in particular.

    Great regimen mate, i use everything the same as you. But use micro-needle 1.5mm once a week. If you use minoxidil and micro-needle it can double results. Check out more plates more dates channel. He raves about micro-needling and has studies to back it up👍🏼 takes me like 10-15 mins once a week. Worth looking into

    This is my question does the donor area grow back? If not then isnt it transfering the top hair loss problem to the sides?? Im 22 and my hair are very thin on top and I can start to see through so maybe in 2 years ill be bald i want to do the surgery so bad

    • @HairlineConfessions
      @HairlineConfessions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So they remove the hair follicles from the back of your head which means that the hair won’t grow back. The trick is to do it spaced apart and it’ll be unnoticeable, but sometimes they take the follicles too close together and it leaves a bit of a bald patch. For me, when my hair is longer (like in this video) then you can’t tell at all. But even when it’s short, people wouldn’t generally notice. Because it’s the back of your head. So I wouldn’t say it’s transferring the problem. And you could also get lucky and end up with a donor area which looks untouched.
      If you’re just thinning on top then I would suggest you look into Finasteride. Do your research and maybe speak to a doctor. It could help regrow your hair and prevent you needing a transplant. Feel free to email me pics if you want me to take a look pal
