This is my first year trying to grow an atlantic giant. I planted two and both got just over a foot tall and one broke clean at the base before it played down. So I'm now down to one plant and it hasn't played down yet and it keeps getting bigger. The "kick stand" isn't touching the ground and I used some takes like u did in this video. Is that my best hope?

I guess double planting is also for 2 of the same plant.. I put 2 diffrent plants in but obviously they will grow at a diffrent pace with diffrent genetics lol.. mark clements told me it makes more sense to plant 2 of the same then if one ribbon vines or something you can cull it. Idk I go with the most dominate but that really doesn't mean much this earlier either lol.

When should you stop adding nitrogen to the plant and start phosphorus?

    • @MobyMikePumpkins

The plants need Nitrogen and Phosphorus their entire life cycle, so there is no start or stopping of any Nutrient. Generally growers will use lil more nitrogen during plant growth and less during fruiting. Phosphorus generally people look at flowering and fruiting, but understand that it also needed early on as well for rooting

What happens if I cut off the curly antennas from my pumpkin vine. Is it bad, I only cut 1 ? That's my question thanks

Those are tendrils and no its not bad. Some growers cut all of them off the plant. I have in the past, but have lately been preferring to leave them on for stabilization.
