The early MAA works so well but against Rus it's probably the least effective due to them not needing early gold. Prob could of gone longbows over x bow vs his comp

Edit: he should have also gone for Kremlin which feels weird to say but if you made dark age units and were circling his gold and you were english going knights makes sense and he had a solid chance of securing food wood and gold by making the kremlin on his woodline. Plus could have used militia to harass you or kill MAA

Bro... the unit production thing with English is so easy if you make white tower (or any keep). Just put all your production in 1 control group. Make sure the tower is the first you put in there. Then just go Y and spam the units you want. The game sorts it out by himself which building will produce it the fastest. If you need to upgrade you just select your group, click your stable and bam: access to your upgrades. I'm telling you man English is the easiest to produce units with
Aussie usually preach walling. I was screaming for him to wall up because the map made it so short for him. Rus was behind and probably should've done raids tbh. Rus also over invested into walls...
The MAA rush wasn't terrible vs Rus because it was decent at killing gaia without needing to train a second scout. Plain old spears would probably have been just as good for less resources, but of course English doesn't have those in the dark age.
while yes it is true that horsemen archer is the answer to spear xbow, drongo's opponent was also mixing in the occasional armoured units as well and also the anticipation of facing more armour would have crossed his mind.

Sometimes we forgot even we knew it, it's happens for Drongo also 😂, and he has massive Crossbowman but has little Longbowman make more different
I mained English and I never did this. It's not needed if you're ontop of your counter comp game like drongo was here.

The keep hotkey problem is huge with Delhi because you can't make villagers on them without pressing Y first.

Honest question, why in the mid game did he invest so much in crossbows over longbows? Doesnt longbow perform better vs enemy crossbows & spearmen?
Perhaps he was anticipating the enemy to go into maa or Knights? But then, he seemed sure enough that they weren't gathering gold.
