In fairness to PV, that was a very well taken goal. Broadheads goal was well taken and a good penalty too. He should have hit thr target with his header though. Need to perform better as t Peterborough on Saturday
I hate playing these teams who just park the bus. I understand why they do it, and Port Vale did it very very well, but makes for a very frustrating game.
An away fixture against a team on a long unbeaten run during which just one goal has been conceded, and who thrashed their previous opponent may well explain why Port Vale parked the bus. Plus they're managerless and had three players suspended. Credit to Port Vale for scoring against us at Portman Road. We're at that stage of the season where points become more important than performances. Parking the bus is effective but not entertaining.

Finally some character shown by Ipswich team. It wasn't easy, it wasn't pretty but in the end they overcome problems to win after conceding a goal just before half time. It was first time in a long long time when I've felt confident with one goal lead in stoppage time. I'm not sure about Davis taking corners even with high assist rank. I think he doesn't have enough power to hit them into far post. Great run continues but quick look at the table shows that Ipswich can't slow down. Ipswich cannot afford to play for a draw v Peterboro & Barnsley. I wouldn't count on others losing points now.
