I just spent the entire afternoon watching these videos as I prep for my first mosaic pot project. They are invaluable and to the point. Thank you for all of the helpful hints!
Treasury Road LOl! I intended to say “WITHOUT jabbering or ego” ! I will now edit that!! I hope you were not offended by my typo! Oh gosh!🙄 P.S I enjoy your little bits about your local fauna and foliage too. Also-do you work in other mediums besides mosaic?
@@donnafoster2022 Sorry I just saw your comment, Im defiantly not offended. :) I also work with resin and acrylic pouring, sometimes jewellery as well but not very much these days and at times ceramics. :)
I used Ezy Tack which is a Selleys product but I think Blu Tack is better its a Bostik product, but there are other products that other people have used but I cant remember what they are. You can also buy tools that do the same thing they have a piece of sticky on the end. :)
I think it is called “Sticky Tack”. I even saw some at Dollar Tree one time. LocTite “Fun-Tak” makes some and DAP “Bluestick” are also some sticky products in the USA.
That depends on the glue you are using and the jewellery or beads you are using. If you look through some of my other videos it will show you the different things I use that may help you. :)
What glue should be used to make mosaic work on marmox or wedi boards for outdoor that be waterproof? How should thinset be used on marmox or wedi boards for outdoor
I cant answer specifically about your project but in general thinset is very good to use on Wedi or Marmox board. There are different types of thinsets on the market so make sure it's compatible with your tess, substrate and the environment its going into. :)
Peter slowly but steadily catching up with all your informative videos. God Bless 🙏🙏🙏
Thankyou and so glad you are enjoying them. :)

fill your plastic container with water and set that inside a larger bowl of water, after a couple hours the label will come off beautifully.
Thankyou yes thats a great idea. :)

Thanks heaps Karen, appreciate that. :)
Can you tell me again the “putty” type product that you put on the sharpie to pick up tesserae, or its equivalent product in the US? Thank you

If I add beads or jewelry to a mosaic, would I use the same glue on them as the tesserae?
