It is a very nice car. My first car was Honda Amaze (Petrol) in 2013. Due to excellent experience I run it 83000 and repeated Once again I bought its 2nd Launch on 16.5.2018 top variant of Amaze with all features. In first drive 1000 km with 2018 MODEL I got average of 20.2 in AC on Highway with the speed of 90 kmph. Offer Prize is very attractive in segment as compare to quality of product. Honda is always leader AND premium DUE TO ITS quality AND services.

You cannot compare D zire to Amaze. Amaze not only looking tough its spacious, Comfortable, Interiors are beautiful, boot is good

I have used Diesel models of both Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze!!
My point of view is as below:
1. to close the doors of dzire you have shut it hard where in Amaze is a light push!! Build quality of Honda is much better
2. Servicing: You get personalized servicing when in Honda service center, the same cannot be said about Maruti
3. Both cars have very few maintenance problem
4. Drivability: In Honda you feel secured and comfortable and overtaking is a cakewalk!! While Maruti you don't the same secured/comfortable feeling as Honda provides. Overtaking requires bit of push compared to Honda!!
5. Sound in-solution: Maruti is much better in this term. Looks like the latest models has overcome the problem

Had a test drive of Amaze 2018, yesterday. Overall performance was good but surprisingly the lid of glove box opened on speed breakers even when it was empty. Explanation was that the Tyre pressure was much more than recommended. I could not agree on this.
Its ironical people here talk shit about Maruti dzire but in real life buys the same dzire and not the other amaze, aspire etc

Indians don't think much about safety. They look for other features like mileage, look and feel. Safety is outsourced to "Ram Bharose" and that nimbu and mirch hanging on bonut.

My honda amaze caught fire & ws burnt down in march this year in mumbai..the car is not safe and wont recommend to anyone...maruti is miles ahead on safety..the worst part..honda said it is possible to see such incidence as car is bit old..what the fuck..a terrible company to deal with..i lost 10 lakh rupees jst bcas i invstd in honda and lakhs in maintenance..hv owned maruti..tata..hyundai in past bt never faced this...honda india is pathetic and its product are not worth taking..pl think twice b4 buying honda..worst car ws serviced 10 days b4 it got burnt down just while being driven at night
Important factor is comfort zone during long ride.. And city drive comfort zone should be good.. Maruti old models are hell.. After Brezza.. Nexa designs focus on comfort.. Less noice level Engine and Tyre noice...
Maruti Desire outer look 10/10, Interior Look is 10+/10..the steering wheel replica of Audi8.. Seats are OK.. Not so good as Ciaz.. Road clearance another factors in Indian roads..

Obvioisly Amaze is a better looking car, Amaze has more premium interiors, Amaze has better engine options, Amaze has better built quality, CVT is always better then AMT.
I liked Amaze more and feel amaze is value for money because designs and built quality also matters.
Donot buy the keyless entry variant. I bought the new Honda amaze 5 month back and the bush start button doesnt work properly. I already faced this issue many times. The Honda guys just kill time and want to keep the car under observation. Once I stopped on a highway at night and the car doesnt start again. Even Honda service centre guys have no idea and have been wasting my time ever since. The Road side assistance they sell is also crap, dont go for it. It is just a tow away service from random vendors who dont have any idea about the latest model
Never buy Dezire car. Its odometer is tampered to show more mileage. Actually its mileage is rather less than Amaze,Xcent and Aspire. Similarly pick up, pulling and break system are not good in Dzire. The built quality is very very inferior in Dzire.
I booked amaze s petrol variant...comparing to dzire vxi is it worth of money??? Back seat space and fuel efficiency is the priority..
In back seat, Amaze is the best in the segment

Mehran Shah sir....Dezire is most selling car bcoz of Brand nd Resale value.Otherwise Evry1 knows Maruti focuses more on Average parameter as mostly our Indian desires but The sensible person looks for build quality and safety features in which Maruti lags a lot as compared to other brands.U can feel the clear difference between the Maruti cars and Other Major brands like Honda...Ford....Toyota. ...

Conclusion: I have driven cars from Maruti 800 to Lamborghini Aventadors, I think don't buy a dzire, its build quality is too low, risk of losing life!

I like Honda amaze than Swift dzire. But Honda's service cost and prices of parts are too high. Honda is for rich people. So I decided to buy Swift Dzire.

Bro I bought Amaze in its first lot in 2018 and after driving almost for 4 years the mileage is superb. I am getting 20 in city. And performance is also very nice. And there is no reverse gear issue

I like your fair comment. I am interested to buy diesel car in the range of 10 Lac. I like Tata Nexon -D and Ford Eco -D but at Chandigarh , Tata service is poor, Ford Service OK but Honda after sale service fine. Honda car needs less maintenance. My final choice is Honda Amaze -D manual to think for a long running & maintenance cost. Please advice.
